When I saw this thread I couldn't help but laugh out loud.I was like yes!!! I swear my parents just stopped and looked at me, that's before I started thinking up all my bashing theories and reasons of WHY I hate Kairi and all the guts inside of her. I mean she looks like she's ten! When i first plyed Kingdom Hearts it scared me...I was like WTF? isn't she liek 14 or 15...Anyways, I also hate Kairi because she's just a obstical in the way of Sora and Riku and she's trying to prevent them from haveing wonderful smex all the time. To me, they only put Kairi in the game becasue they had to make it rated everyone...if she wasn't there I think we know that rating would've been tossed out of the window right away...so yeah...I hate Kairi for many more reasons but I don't want to waste space in the thread...others diserve a chance to bash her as well!!!! xp

Kairi may be an "obstacle", but she's not trying to stop them from having hot sex. In fact, they're not even trying to have hot sex. And even if they somehow were, I doubt Kairi would go up with them with BIG OL' STOMPS and say, "You know what? DON'T HAVE HOT SEX. BECAUSE IT DOESN'T INCLUDE ME AND I WUV SORA!" Because she wouldn't. She's not a b***h.
In fact, if Riku and Sora were in love, Kairi would come to terms with it. Sure, she'd probably be upset, but who wouldn't? Would YOU be upset if the guy you loved was in love with someone else? But she's their FRIEND, and she would STILL LOVE and SUPPORT them no matter what. She loves them, and they love her.
I'm sure the rating would still be E without her. It's a Disney game.

Lolmigosh, Ipoku's gonna go on a crazy feminist rant, watch out. O:
Okay, so Kairi is a strong girl. She got a keyblade. She doesn't get much screen time or do much, but that's not really a reason to dislike her. The reason I dislike her is because she is like so many main girl love interests that I see. And the reason she is so much like them is because her only focus is the boy she likes.
Now, we know Sora likes Kairi and Kairi likes Sora. I mean, it's obvious. There's a good chance that Sora likes Riku, too, but that's superfluous to my point ;D.
But Sora has other priorities, as well. He likes Kairi, but he has Riku, Donald, Goofy, the King, Leon, others, and he's concerned about saving the world. He has other things to deal with as well as love.
Kairi's center is loving Sora. That's pretty much her purpose. We don't see her thinking of anything else, having other issues, or even getting close to her other friend, Riku.
This happens so much to main female characters. They lack depth, and all they think about is boys, while the boys think about girls and friends and saving the world and other goals, too.
That's why I can never find good yuri pairings. Because the girls never just make close friends or have deep emotional connections to anyone but their crush. It's also why I can relate to very few female characters.

And yeah; they got really lazy in KH2 what with the worlds... Okay, I can see the lack of plot in the Collosium, and the Beast's Castle - but what about Mulan's world? What about POC? What the HELL? He just... waltzs in, fixes stuff, leaves... wtf? And how did he get away with his appearence in POC? And what about DONALD AND GOOFY...!? Geeze... And, I dunno what they call them in China, but in ancient Japan, if those three were seen, we'd call 'em either Kami or Youkai. Sheesh.
