Lexi's eyes widen and she looks to Carmen and Lera both as though seeking reasrance that she just heard what she thought. "Really? You're sure?" She asks, her voice taking on a cautions tone. "Is that ok?"

Tobias' ears went down and tail slightly between his legs as the older she-wolf bristled, feeling a bit guilty, as if he shouldn't be there. But she too, seemed to accept him into the pack. He nodded back to her, feeling a bit happier.
He wished briefly to see the pups. But he knew he couldn't, so he mused, instead, what Lera must be going through. He knew nothing about birth, but still, to be stuck in that small den with multiple other beings that needed your full attention, he couldn't understand how she could do that. He had gained a whole new respect for females.

Lera gave Lexi a solemn nod before heading towards the den. The chute was tiny; Lera could barely squeeze up it. But It was made so that larger animals couldn't get in. It went in an upwards motion, made to protect the den against floods. The main cavaty was where the pups were kept. The den was very small in comparison to their pack den. Just roomy enough for one female, but Lexi's small body could easily fit in there. After all, bother Carmen AND Lera fit up there. Lera went up the chute, and into the main area where the three pups wer epiled utop each other; sleeping peacfully. Yet when they heard movement they began to squeal; crawling towards Lera as she laid down; pressing herself against the wall, making room for Lexi to enter.

Lexi crawled nervously down the den after Lera, trying to keep her tail from wagging with exitement. Going back down a den like this seemed a little strange, a echo of the past when she herself was still small, but the only small things here were the pups, wiggling and falling over each other, fragile and dependent.
"Look at them...." She breathes in amazement. "It's hard to beleive they'll be out there running with us someday...they're so tiny..."

*After watching as Lera went back into the small underbush Carmen figured Lexi would soon follow. Standing up at her full height Carmen let out a short yawn. She knew that it was Lexi's time to see the new little bundles.*
*Rounding around onto the other male wolf that was their she turned her head to look down on him. She still had never met him... but she guessed it was best to start introductions. Being the wolf of few words.. unless deep into a coversation she said very quietly.* "Hello im carmen." Even though it was said quietly it was also said at a quickened pace.*

Lera smiled at Lexi, even if she could barely see her in the inky darkness of the Den. Not much light ever shone up her. "I know..." Lera said, almost with a bit of nostalgia mixed into her voice. It was almost heart breaking to think that these little fuzzy pups would grow up to be strong and handsome, fidning their own mates one day and Leaving Lera to her old self. She sighed, thinking that day was too near.
The two female pups were interested in eating and quickly hurried over to Lera to being drinking their dinner. But the little dark male pup had smelled a stranged in the den. he crawled...or shuffled over to Lexi, making little huffing and whinning sounds as he went along the dirft floor of the den. He proceeded to inspect this new wolf with much curiosity. sniffing here and there, putting his head into her fur experimentally. These pups could barely walk, and it was quite a feat for any pup to show signs of curiosity just yet.
But in due time the small bundle became a little frightened and went back over to join his sisters in sucking. Lera proptly washed all of them.

Kamali had wandered away from the group at Lera's den, slipping off toward the woods. His ears flicked a bit, every time he thought he heard a distant noise, such as a twig snapping or maybe some kind of creature around.
His golden gaze swept the lands, and he sighed a bit. He did not know why he was feeling so bored, he had been since they arrived here, but wished the feeling would go away. He did not like it, he thought he might do something stupid if he was bored.
He shrugged the thought away, pulling himself onto a large rock, then turning in a circle to see around him. Slowly he sat, gaze on the sky instead of the ground. He smiled a bit, he enjoyed looking at the sky very much.
Not only was it beautiful, but it let him space out.

Lexi's tail thumped the earth behind her happily, and she beamed in so much as a wolf could. "They're so incredible, you must be so proud." She says softly, not wanting to alarm the pups, even the brave little male.

Gizmo - who had been heading to the river - caught the familiar scent of Kam-Kam on the evening wind and rose his head to accept it, turning from his straight path and pushing himself into the under brush.
He hadn't spoken to the minty pup for a long time and he figured it would be nice to catch up and tell him all the things he had seen on his adventures. He also remembered that last time they had spoken he hadn't been very stable of mind and had been rather rude.
Wagging his tail a little he came free from the bushes and saw the pup, his nose raised to the sky. He gave a small yip to announce himself before padding over to the pup, hopping up to sit beside him. Hello Kam-Kam, you watch sky? It was something that he himself was very fond of.

Kamali almost fell over, at the yip, but cought the sent of his packmate and grinned a little sheepishly. His gaze tore itself from the sky to look upon Gizmo, his tail wagging slightly. "oh, hello Gizmo." His ears perked, he was happy that Gizmo seemed to be in a better mood.
"Yes, watching the sky.." he nodded and half glanced to the big expanse of endless blue and white, then looked back to him. "How are you feeling?" He shifted on his paws.

Gizmo gave a wolfish smile and settled more comfortably beside his friend once he knew his presence was welcome. At the pup's question his ears drooped very slightly but he was determined not to show that he was still feeling a bit sad.
I feel better, past is past, not be changed. He curled his tail around him and let his gaze drift up to the sky once more. How Kam-Kam feel? He thought it only polite to ask, and he knew that the pup had also been very upset by all these events. It seemed that so much had occured since then, the new home, the puppies, Jade.
He guessed that time was a good healer after all.

He shifted, and let himself lay down, pressing slightly against gizmo. He liked the warmth. "Alright, I supose, just bin a little bored these past days.." his tail flicked, and his gaze wandered away from Gizmo's as he spoke, to the area around.
"I don't think it's right for me to be bored though. We just got to our new home.. and alls i've done is sulk around.." he frowned a bit, sighing. It wasn't as true as he thought. But kamali's thinking was.. well. strange.
"And I feel ashamed because i've been wanting to travel. Back.. to where we came. I want to explore it more.. and.. well." He shrugged, glancing at Gizmo, head tilted. He was surprised he was being so open. Usually he liked trying to keep his problems to himself. He thought it stupid to burden others.

Gizmo lowered his head and pressed his nose affectionately to the pup's forehead, wagging his tail a little. it okay to be bored. He spoke softly, letting out a small sigh as he did so. Everything new, scary and strange. New puppies get attention, we left out cos too small to be useful. Gizmo moved to lay down too, side still pressed against Kamali's.
I want travel too, but Haku say he need me. His tail ceased to wag and he gave a small whimper, lowering his muzzle to lie against his paws. Gizmo promise Aeria, say I never leave her 'lone. That female was the only reason he would remain anywhere, if she go then he'd follow, he'd follow her anywhere.
I want go old place too, meet friends... He perked up a little at this, I meet new wolf pup, she green but like moss and called Jade. She nice too, we chace long-ears and investigate two-legs home. There was an excitement in his voice as he recalled the events.
