I offered to lend my boyfriend (a recent POTO convert) my copy of SK Phantom. However, as I was handing it too him, I made it explicitly clear that were he to lose it or cause it harm, I would punjab him. I had to explain to him what punjabbing was after that, and while gving him a very graphic hands-on explaination, my roommate walked in (exactly when I had a belt around my boyfriend's neck and was pulling backward). Talk about your awkward moments, I think she's slightly afraid of me now.

Oh, I have been caught singing the songs in public many, many times...
However, I currently feel no shame. I have excercised my alto-voice to suit all ranges of voices, from high soprano octaves of Christine to the low, romantic voice of Erik. Although my octave range for soprano is limited.
The problem is when I'm singing parts for more than three people and everyone starts coming in at different times. Just can't keep up~

omg, totally! It was just recently too... There's this super hot guy at my school... like the ONLY one because I live in a podunk town. [He just moved here] Anyways, I was with my friend and we were walking through the empty halls during a period, and I was singing "Think of Me" like Carlotta does in the beginning... but all obnoxious like she is and with the horridly random creschendos [I'm a band geek, and still can't spell that word] and the awful notes and everything. My friend was telling me how I sounded just like Carlotta, and I went on and right in the middle of this horrendous note, the guy walks across the halls and stops and stares at me with this 'wtf???' face and I was like eek sweatdrop heh, so that's my emberassing Phantom story!

And Shibaru, I think it's spelled "crescendoes".

Ok, so there's this big air vent in the ceiling in my hallway. I heard something that sounded EXACTLY LIKE FOOTSTEPS above my head when I was standing underneath the vent, and i was all like "OMG!! ERIK IS IN MY HOUSE IN THE CEILING!!!" So I was like jumping up and down trying to open the vent, (not reaching it because I'm too short...) and my mom walking up the stairs and was like, "Ummmm.... yeah....."

My science room is really echoey, and I was humming a song from POTO (I forget which) and suddenly the room goes silent, and I don't notice. My humming is loud, and it kinda echoes. The people at my table were looking like, "Um...wtf?" at me, and I still didn't notice. Then I realized, and stopped, but it was still kinda stupid. whee

Hmm...guess that my roommate finding him tied to my bed would be a bad thing then, right? lol, just kidding.

Hmmm...I wasn't caught doing this, but once I just randomly decided to put on a cape and mask and sit in my basement singing "Angel of Music". Also, once one of my friends and I decided to blare the soundtrack of POTO while acting the scenes out with groovy girls! But we couldn't find the groovy boys, so I played the role of Erik. In the same cape and mask as the other...incident.
Edit: Okay, this one was actually in public. Back when I had just become a phan and hadn't had time to convert my friends yet, I was working on a French project with some people in my class. One of my friends (same one as in the groovy girl thing, but like I said, not converted into a phan yet) was looking through a French-English dictionary. I guess "masquerade" was one of the words in the top corner or something, because she said "Masquerade...I want to go to a masquerade someday." My reply was "MASQUERADE!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAPER FACES ON PARADE! MASQUERADE! HIDE YOUR FACE SO THE WORLD WILL NEVER FIND YOU!" My Friends: eek Me: sweatdrop

I don't know if I'd qualify that as a good thing, but hell, it is his opinion and I'm all about respecting others' opinions.

Ohjeez, that just didn't come out right.
I meant something more along the lines of, I don't consider either liking Raoul or disliking Raoul to be good things or bad things. They are simply opinions. I'm not a big Raoul fan myself, but if others like him, that's just fine as well.
Bashing Raoul is a seperate issue in my mind, and I generally don't like them much simply because closed-minded people get on my nerves. Very. Fast.
But no, I didn't intend that to sound all...well, the way you read it. o.0
The emotionlessness of the internet strikes again.

No, that's classic Uta striking again.
And I'm not saying liking him is the ultimate goal. It's just better that they like him or are neutral about him. Not caring and utterly senseless loathing are two different things, ma cher.
