((His name is Vas, not Val. Last comment unnecessary, JarJar....))
"Oh no, I am very much alive spirit. Don't you hear my beating heart? I exist in mind body and soul, which are apparently lost to you." the boy replied, sticking his chin up and tilting his head, showing the utmost pride. "Tell me ghost, what foolish nonsense causes you to believe that I cannot harm you? Please, do tell." the magus finished, his voice falling to a whisper.
The young lord slightly twitched as the spirit tried to invade, or at least see through his mind. How dare she? A mere spirit, tapped in limbo. A shame for her. "You cannot tell me what I can and cannot do. A dead one can be killed. You, female, are dead. But the extreme meaning of death is to cease existing. Body, soul and mind. The very essence of real, genuine death." at that point the adept began to roar. A vicious scream of rage it was. "A worm?! How dare you? You swine! Grovel before me! Plead for my forgiveness you insolent b***h!" the master pointed his right index finger to his bare feet. "You know nothing of my past. Never mention it. Never! Lira... my love... she did this. It was her fault. I.. I..." he trailed off into silence, stuttering, just as the spirit just vanished. Cursing at the ghost under his breath, Vas turned his attention to the beautiful siren who seemed quite worried.
Her song... it was like an ecstasy. Pure enjoyment. No, the boy's will was much too strong for that. Knocking over and pushing all those dirty elves out of his way, the blood magus made his way towards the stage. Tender elven arms were reaching for him, touching. Feeling utterly repulsed and overwhelmed, the god of his own making screamed once more, the blue highlights flashing up again. He saw, but he didn't. No, no longer was the young lord in the club, in his mind at least. To the poor master's eyes it seemed that he was within that plane in which he was banished. Insanity had begun to consume. The hands were seen as vines... no, not just ordinary vines but ones with heads, screaming and try to entangle this slave to the horrors of the mind. Indeed what was seen within one's head became. Already standing on the stage, those vines appeared in the club, the lad wasn't even aware that he was at an elven place of amusement. For all he knew, he was in that cursed place.
Then he saw her. A bright shape running. A celestial perhaps? So beautiful. Following the enchanting voice the masochistic man ran behind the frightened siren. Was lust or the sheer want? To have something, to own.

The siren coaxed more innocent bystanders to block the path after her trailing figure with a voice that had started to turn ragged from her running and attempt to keep her voice steady and clear in order to work her magic.
Finding the nearest exit, she threw the door open and stepped out into the alleyway, putting a few trash bags and anything light enough for her to carry and barricade the door.
s**t...why didn't I bring Callia with me?
She wrapped the coat around herself as she dashed out of the alley, missing the comfort of the rapier that normally rested on her left hip.
Probably because we normally don't have to deal with odd customers in bathrobes...
Alcinia continued to silently admonish herself as she walked quickly along New York's streets, trying her best to hide herself in the crowd. It was quite a chilly evening, encouraging her to wind the coat around her body a bit more tightly...not to mention her state of partial undress.
Her breathing was heavy as she continued to panic and look over her shoulder every so often to make sure she wasn't being followed. Her pace was quick with long strides.
I won't let him get me...
The thought added more resolve to her step.

Though she wasn''t seen, she wasn''t not there. Going after the siren, she had a fleeting happy thought. That Vas was too enthralled by the siren to worry too much about the elves in the place, but that did put Alcinia in an ''interesting'' position.
The ghost had no need for dodging or shoving, just simply running through people and objects before she found the fleeing woman, singing her heart out, and followed her out of the building.
Nika found her again in the crowd, though it was difficult to spot her wearing a long jacket like so many of the humans in this city. And it was a chilly day, giving Nika an idea as she concentrated, her form shifted and became like a drab-human, her thoughts focused as she slid her arm through the siren''s before whispering quickly.
"Don''t react, I''m not here to harm you, but to help you." She said in a soft, comforting voice, at the same time sending a few subtle psionic waves of comfort and reassurement. "I know someone that might be able to help you. For if that man catches you, your freedom will be forfeit."
She was talking now as if to an old friend, her smile warm and bright as she said. "Try and talk, act normal, we don''t want to look suspicious" Though her words were soft, they were said as if telling a joke or a secret, white eyes shining and hidden behind tinted glasses for the moment.

The real world began to swirl. What was reality? The boy didn't know anymore. The elves, which he saw as the vines, were actually struggling against the very same ones see within his head. That made the path to the siren so much easier to follow. The lad was steaming at this point, the area around him filled with reddish brownish smoke, but still within his mind, the siren was seen as a bright light in the shape of a woman.
The lord followed the light, through the door, into the street, which was a portal to an icy hell within his head. No more elves, they were all left behind. Well only a miniscule amount of blood was recovered then. No massive massacre, just bleeding noses, punches being thrown amidst the chaos. Flashing, the jolt of insanity began to pass. So hard to concentrate it was the real world and the plane within his mind flashed in front of Vas's eyes. Staggering, gasping for breath, the young master didn't dare to slow his pace. Of course! The undeveloped items! How could he have forgotten about those balls made from all those things that he carved with Lira's bones? So there really was an advantage to the adept being too weak to unlock them. One after the other, the magus took each of the balls floating around him and threw at the fleeing siren. The idea was to hit her legs as too slow or trip the runner down.
Eyes wide open, hair flying everywhere, the boy's right hand in front of him, to catch any spheres that might return. Still running. Persistent b***h.

She gasped, nearly screaming when the foreign arm slid through hers. A voice whispered softly to her, telling her that they were there to help. The siren contained her voice and listened carefully, not seeing much option than what she was being given. Alcinia nodded once and tried her best to act natural as they hastily made their way down the crowded street.
The siren still sung low under her breath, placing more people in back of her as they continued along. She tried her best not to flinch as she heard a few moans and screams following them from not too far off.
Crap...he's still following me...
Angry yells responded to the crazed magus as he came tearing through the crowd towards her. Quickening her step, she still worked her magic to use the innocent bystanders as a buffer zone between herself and him.
Alcinia looked pleadingly towards her new companion, unsure of what to do. She heard the yells and gasps of pain of some of the people behind her who had gotten hit by the odd spheres that had scattered into the crowd in her general direction.
Callia...

Cursing softly under her breath, The spectral stopped bothering to concentrate on holding the girl's arm, letting it just float there as she opened her mental barriers enough to project about them that they were simply 'not there'
She hoped it would work for the crazed man, whom she would 'deal' with later. But wondered really how much power he had, since he had simply resorted to throwing things at them, but also seemed in a weakened state, not quite up to par.
This let a whisper of doubt enter the ghost's mind, but she firmly ignored it as she concentrated on making sure the two were being ignored by those about them.
"We need to get out of here, Do you know of a safe place to go Alcinia?" Using the female's name should get her attention, since the siren was obviously on the edge of hysterical panic. "You need to get yourself as far away from this place as possible, And I know a place we could go..."
Since Nika couldn't concentrate enough to steer the woman, instead she slipped images of the path ahead into the siren's mind, showing her where to go. "I'll find you again soon.." She whispered before she was gone.
The balls that had been thrown were now picked up, hovering in the air ominiously before they shot through space with deadly speed and accuracy, weaving through the crowd before heading straight towards the frustrated and insane Mage.
'Get out of here quickly.. I'll do what I can..' she Telepathed the siren and set to work huddling people up, getting cars in the way by enticing driver's to suddenly have accidents and hold up the roads so it was barely navigateable between the vehicles. Then, She confronted the mage himself, her body shimmering back to the normal spectrum, a smirk on her face.
"Is that really all you can do?" She said with a taunting edge, her lips curved in a smirk and her milky-white eyes glimmering with amusement.

Vas let out a horrific cry of the purest rage. The crowds seemed endless. An endless cycle of spheres. For every sphere thrown one returned. No, not only the physical forced propelled them, but something more. Something vexing. It was as if they were carried by some strange force. For that matter the boy did not know as to what it was, he had a pretty good idea though, which he kept to himself from the time those strange spheres appeared from his sister's bones. Missing hit after hit all that the adept gained were small bits of blood that finally formed into the three small stones right under his right eye, the rest went to pool the formation of the stones on his chest. Only for a short time had the ghost concealed the two of them. Only an illusion and an illusion is indeed a lie. Even if his mind could see through the spell it ended as the ghost left the siren. "In my name I order you to stop!" the boy shouted. Seeing the ghost suddenly appear in front of him, the crazed and enraged hunter briefly stopped, but then he remember that she was just a specter. Just for the sake of pissing the ethereal form off, the adept ran past her... right through her actually. She must have hated it.
The magus's hair and eyes flashed briefly, as some strange pain began to make itself known within his stomach. He felt that he was going to vomit... and so he did. No, it wasn't what people usually vomit but... a snake. One after the other as he ran. It was disgusting but oh so very effective. At the arrival of each new snake the crowd scattered.
Then finally, in his insanity some common sense was found. "Wait... these orbs levitate, don't they? That means I could..." Vas muttered under his breath, quickly pondering as to how he could approach that new trick. Willing two of the balls to float in front of his feet and one right next to his right, healthy hand, the mage ran and jumped, just enough space made by the snake that he flung in front of himself. Grabbing the highest orb but slightly slipping, the boy stabled himself on the lower two spheres. Well, this was an interesting trick indeed. Saved so much time by avoiding the crowd.

((Ok...obviously I wasn't paying attention >_< Post time for Hybrid. Sorry for controlling charries and all but I'm expecting each person will be returning to their seats at least after all. After that, e.g. Zaniah's reaction to the newly fixed blades, is up to you.))
Hybrid looked at Arkus in silence. "I'll show more when the rest have returned. Their time is almost up after all." Just as he finished this small speech, Na'fiel walked back in to return to her seat. He nodded slowly. He then would return to reading the map, marking certain points, and seeming to take things into consideration. The people that were joining him were now wanted, and he couldn't allow them to get caught again. Bad things happen to people like them who get caught again.
He turned and stood there now, his cloak on the chair, and his gear there as well. His black 'outfit' seeming to be something of military grade or better, was equipped with weapons, and devices of defence, as well as offence. He waited till Zaniah got in and then looked at the pocketwatch he had. Time was up...Maybe the elf had run into bad trouble, or maybe something had happened to him on the way. In any case, it wasn't his problem. The elf wasn't under his protection while he was gone from him. He had told everyone to be careful didn't he? And that was enough in his mind. So he waited for the three remaining to settle down in their seats.

((Geh, teh ickle post. *wrinkles nose*))
The siren listened to her new companion, a series of images flooding her mind when she suddenly fell silent.
Telepathy?
She could see it...a shabby little bar somewhere in the city. A bartender...seemingly ordinary but there was a sense of...something; she couldn't put her finger on it and yet it was something that she couldn't shake.
Her companion suddenly vanished, leaving her with her silent words resounding in her head.
'Get out of here quickly.. I'll do what I can..'
Alcinia shook her head and continued forward, running now to put as much distance between her and the place where she once was. Even evil feared other sources of evil. Panicked, she made her way down the chilly streets, turning a corner. All the while, she still hummed under her breath to urge people to crowd behind her, regardless of the accidents and chaos that followed in her wake. Anything to get herself away.
Her breath came out in small clouds as the heated air hit the cold. Little did she notice that the magus was floating above the crowds, concentrated solely on finding a subway, a taxi, anything to get her away faster than her two legs could carry her.

Her smirk dissapearing as the Magus ran right through her, she turned sharply and followed him. How convieniant, the rules of the world did not apply to her either..
Birds crowded the city, pidgeons mainly, and it was then that Nika revealed her other power, and her hair turned a deep forest green as her eyes went from milky white to brown. The Wildlord called upon her abilities and suddenly, the birds flew up and began flocking about Vas, little beaks pecking away as they swarmed him, hundreds of them, and more were coming.
Unlike the Siren, she didn't fear anything, for nothing had, or ever could hurt her, no matter what the crazed magus said. She was getting pissed now, such arrogance in the evil man, so much wrong that should not be released into this world.
People in the streets had noticed the odd man flying, and were begining to point, even more so when the birds suddenly started attacking him, paying almost no attention to a now skeletal-looking, forest being in the midst of them.

((Okay.. FINALLY Zani is going to get to the bar xd ))
As she sped down the roads of the busy metroplian city, bike helmet snug on her head, she thought about this all, one image being replayed over and over in her mind: Cale grabbing her, her spinning about and her fist driving into his stomach, his shocked and betrayed face as she just left.
Her back-pack was stuffed full of clothes and other things, her blades back at the bar, and her troubles locked away firmly in her mind. She hardly even saw the traffic about her as she zoomed through it, which wasn't a smart thing since as she went through an intersection she was almost hit, and had to swerve up onto the side-walk to avoid getting t-boned by a small chevy.
It wasn't much longer before she got to the bar, and parked her bike in the far corner of the lot. Sliding her helmet off, she walked quickly into the bar, and as before, deposited her jacket and helmet just behind the bar to the side. Her hair was slightly ruffled and damp still, and her face was a stony blank mask that also seemed to cover her eyes, giving her a face devoid of emotion, but far from serene.
Slipping her bag from her shoulders, she adjusted her red t-shirt and slipped into the bathroom, once more going through the odd mirror. But not before she saw her own reflection and narrowed her eyes at it. Smoothing over the break in her mask, she got into the room with no other problems and found her blades at her spot at the table..
At that a very small smile came onto Zaniah's face, a barest curving of the lips, before she sat down and dropped her bag beside her chair to pick up her sword. Sliding it from it's sheath, she gazed at it, tracing her fingers over the new symbols that etched it, and the sheer perfection of the edge, how it seemed razor sharp (and was as she traced a finger along it, cutting herself). As she gazed about, she saw everyone was there...
Well, almost everyone.. where was the elf?

((Erm...yeah...*forgot what Na''fiel was doing...erm...yeah...XD))
Na''fiel pulled into the parking lot behind the bar. Not for the first time of the night, she once again went into the hidden back room. As the mermaid strode over to the table and took her seat, the drow woman also walked in. Hmm, good timing.
Looking at her watch, Na''fiel noticed that there wasn''t too much time before the five hours was up. So far, only Arkus, Zaniah and herself had arrived. What happened to the elf? Maybe he''d pulled out at the last minute? If he did, she didn''t doubt Hybrid''s words about being arrested again. This was definately the safest route to take. Then again, different people had different motives.
The mermaid wondered, briefly, weather or not she would''ve rather pulled herself out. Well, being here was certainly dangerous, considering what they''d just done. However, it was certainly exciting. More exiting than...well...anything she''d ever accomplished! It was an exhiliarating feeling, being part of something this big. No...she''d follow through with what she started.

Hybrid turned to look as the members had seated now. He looked at Zaniah for a moment and his eyes slowly narrowed. He spoke to her as he looked away towards the other two. "You're welcome drow." He then seemed to set his eyes on the minotaur and the mermaid. He stood there for a moment and then nodded slowly.
"Alright Arkus, I shall answer you now. During this last fight, you were taken down because you were incapable to fight from long distances. What would help you then mmm?" He turned, and simply waved his hand. The map flipped and there was a box shaped container. He walked over to it and pulled out an extremely long and large shotgun. It had strange untranslatable runes on it, just as Zaniah's weapons now did.
His eyes looked back to the bull man and he threw it into the air towards him. "It holds 10 bullets max. But only 6 medium range, 4 long range, and 2 'special' bullets. I'll explain the distance system before the next mission occurs. But that is your weapon. It can also create a shield. It may be used for defence, or for a battering device so you aren't hurt as long as you can hold the weapon.
"The shield lasts for 15 seconds at a time, with an hour recharge period. So be careful in the use of it. The runes enchant it so that only the creator and the one the creator gives it to, can use it. Once that is done, the only one that can touch it is the 'heir' of the owner or the creator. Make sense? Good. Try not to blow your hoof off as it will dearly hurt."
The strange man then looked at the mermaid and nodded slowly. He tilted his head a bit and then straightened up as he clapped his hands together. "Ah yes...I remember what I had for you Na'fiel. You were a...harder subject to try and work with. As you change with the simple touch of water. I had to make two things for you. I didn't want just a defensive weapon for you after all."
He turned and pulled out a hooded cloak and threw it towards her. It was of a soft material, and seemed to almost wrap around her skin. It was thin, and non-hindering. A good material to fight with. "That will keep close to your body in a fight as something like memory fiber, but also...will keep you dry. It has...certain runes placed into it so that even if you were barefoot, the water would not change you. But as soon as you take it off, any water that touches you will turn you. If you put the cloak back on, you will change into a human again, but once it's removed, you will revert to your original form...call it a set transformer mmm?"
Hybrid then walked back to the box that was still sticking out of the wall where the map was supposed to be. He unlocked something and pulled it out. He turned and walked back, the other weapon hidden in his cloak. "You're an excellent fighter, and your 'needles' come in handy at times, but then again, they aren't unexhaustable.
"Well, you need some way to fight long range if the case arises. I figured...a more fluid weapon would be useful for you." He pulled out a small revolver. It would probably shoot accurately to the end of the room, with an excellent marksman. Yet once again, runes covered the small weapon, different than the others. He lifted the gun, and didn't even look at it. Suddenly, it began to...change. It extended, and changed, as if it was water, but it didn't fall out of his hand. It was now a desert eagle.
He then shifted and lifted a hand as a sniper rifle grew out of the desert eagle. He then lifted it into the air, and it formed down into a single action army, and finally back into the smaller revolver. He twirled it and flung it from hand to hand. It will pass any security device...because it's not made out of normal metal or anything. It is...like memory fiber if you will. Or psychic liquid. It will form to whatever you want. As long as it is a gun, and can fire bullets.
"This, will change to whatever ammo you need. Always remember to keep the magazine or what have you in order for it to 'recharge' while you're using the other one. This is a very complex gun as I'm sure you notice. Maybe you won't use it, then again, it might come in handy as you are the only one, besides myself, who wields a sniper rifle now mmm? Train with close and long combat all of you, so that you will be rounded, and not a triangle." He then tossed Na'fiel the weapon for her own use. "Oh and the same 'ownership' trait is in your new equipment."
Hybrid looked at them slowly. He wouldn't tell Zaniah what he weapon did unless she asked him, as it wasn't his highest priority. He checked his own weapons and ammo. Once he was satisfied he turned to them. His eyes scanning along their faces. "Na'fiel you have your cloak. The other two of you grab a cloak from the pegs near the exit. We'll be heading out to meet a friend. There's been...a problem as of late. It will be your next assignment. Let's get going" Hybrid turned walking from the table towards the exit, his cloak fluttering up, and all those weapons that lined his body showed for only a moment, and those that were visible were only some of all of them...that was possibly the scariest part.

Arkus didn't answer Hybrid's rhetorical question, of course, but he gave a wide, bullish grin as he snatched the shotgun out of the air, examining it. It was certainly his proper size. He tested the buttstock against his shoulder and gave it an aim, and then held it parrallel to his body, looking up and down the firearm. He was thoroughly pleased.
It had a nice heft to it, perfect for him. He figured that Hybrid would elucidate upon the ammunition situation. Arkus would've tested the trigger but decided against it. He didn't want to blow a hole in the wall or in the cieling.
He would've tested the pump action as well, but he didn't want to end up discharging a shell and having to bend down rather stupidly to pick it up. So he wouldn't mess with it until this so-called 'mission' began. Hopefully they wouldn't be doomed to failure this time...
Moving to the pegs, Arkus took the cloak obviously meant for him (as it was much, much larger than everyone else's) and put it on, though he didn't pull the hood up. He thought he looked quite dashing in a cape, or a cloak for that matter. He would already knew that, though. He wore a cape in his wrestling matches. But, now he was thinking that they wouldn't see him anymore...
At least not for a long, long time...

Arching her eyebrows as Hybrid skipped her over completely, one thought passed her mind as she opened her mouth.. 'How Rude..'
"Might I ask what you have for me? I would like to see what little surprise you have." After seeing the other's weapons she was intrigued, the drow just hoped that she wouldn't be given a gun like the others. She loathed the things.. those things made the weakest little runt a dangerous person, to themselves and those around them. At least trained warriors like herself had the discipline and experience to NOT shoot/stab themselves in the foot..
Adjusting her Clothes, she stood up, re-attaching the occupied sheaths back to their respective places as she awaited their mysterious leader's answer.
