"We were inseparable, nothing could break us apart. But one day i got into kind of a mess with some people. and they said they would do something bad to my life if i didn't do what they said. Now me being a god and all i just brushed them off, i mean they were humans what were they gonna do? Then one day i was walking by the high school you went to i was coming to pick you up, and i heard you screaming, i looked over and you were falling off of the roof. I would have saved you but i don't use my powers in public ever, i didn't know what to do. and then.........." Kai shook his head and tears fell from his eyes. "You hit the ground and died. I didn't even get to say goodbye." he said as he started to cry.

Cassie felt something in her snap. she walked over to him. and held out her hand. but a wave of memories made her dizzy. her eyes rooled back slightly and she fell forward on him.

Kai was startled when Cassie fell on him. He hugged her and continued to cry. *She hasn't hugged me in so long.* he thought.
