There was a loud noise that emitted from Piper's comm. Piper looked up at Eric with an apologetic smile. "I've been sending transmissions to Absinthe and it seems your Wife has been listening in."

"Piper, you're running out of reasons why I haven't choked you dead, yet."
Eric paused, drumming his fingers, "I've got a stash on the ship with some more boosters. Either we won't get the plauge or we'll die of an overdose. So, either or, we won't have to worry about that."

"We can use her for a gunfire, Shield, Eric. So shut up." Pen began checking the power status on her arm and blaster, making sure both were working properly, before handing her gun over to Piper. "There were also some tranquilizers in the first aid kit. Hand over your gun to Piper, Eric, and take one, or put on some handcuffs. Piper will need to play bounty hunter with us in her control. That way we won't die on the way in."
Pen swallowed one of the tranq pills, shaking her head a moment as her vision got a little bit blurry and her reflexes began to slow. "Piper, hail the ship and tell them you have two bounties to bring in. You'll want to speak specifically to General Bryne. He's a b*****d to the core, and hates me...but he's more likely to keep us alive for questioning than others."

Piper chuckled. "This sounds exciting, I must say." She took the offered gun and looked over at Eric. "Don't worry, I'll save your bum and get you back to the misses."

She turned to Piper. "Call them, tell them we're your captives and we'll work from there."

Take the Star's Light, and run. Tell the Captain about this, get him and whatever he can scare up to help you. You can't let the Kore or the Hunters get you or the Star's Light."

Hattie held Absinthe's comm tightly in her hands. "Eric, what's going on?" Her voice was tight and she swallowed. "What are you talking about?"
