'Come on, you lazy cow, where are you?' Midian muttered to herself, impatiently looking at the clock; she was waiting for her colleague who had offered to give her the results of Aizel's blood test.
Aizel himself had now stopped convulsing and instead lay slumped on the table. Even though the glow had not left his eyes, it had dimmed some, and he seemed to be unconscious again.
'If I could change your mind, I wouldn't save you from the path you wander -' Midian began, tapping her feet.
'Do you ever shut the ******** up singing?' growled a voice.

 'They probably have a lot of creatures caged up in here,' she whispered, spying a plaque which read "EXPERIMENT RAESA".

A screeching noise filled the corridor; back down the hall, Izona was restless, and was dragging sharp claws down the metal on her side of the door. It was followed by a few thuds as she aimlessly, idly struck it with her tail.

Evangeline pressed on down the hall, trying to ignore the screeches coming from Izona's room, completely oblivious to Raven wandering off from the group.

'Oh! You're awake. You made me jump,' Midian declared, smiling broadly at Aizel. She scratched at her cheek, smudging the concealer she had on it, revealing part of a small, orange heart shaped tattoo. 'And what, don't you like my singing?'
'I'd rather listen to Raesa and Kylun fight each other again,' Aizel snapped back.
'That could be arranged, you know.'
His temper flared at her words, embers spitting out from his fingers, as he strained to break through the metal shackles that still held him firmly in place.

Evangeline slowed to a halt, examining the diagrams on the walls, looking for a layout of the building, anything that would help them to locate their friend.
'All these ******** things are useless. I couldn't give a toss about the digestive tract of your typical demon, I just want to know where they've kept Aizel.'
