xxxxx Having been coddled all her life, Ishtar knows very little of the ways of the world - especially those of the 'common folk'. That isn't to say that she'd consider herself superior, she simply grew up surrounded by servants and no peers to mingle with, no playmates or siblings to teach her how to share. Luckily she's got a good head on her shoulders and is quick to catch on to things. She knows nothing of love or friendship, aside from what she's read in her books in the palace. The young princess is also quite eager for adventure and experiments.✮ History Lesson ✮ ✮ The Good Old Days:
xxxxx Ishtar is the daughter of a maharaja and a female djinni he had found, asking her for family. Duty-bound, the djinni bore him a daughter, then as his wish was fulfilled, returned to her own domain, leaving the infant princess in the hands of her father. Being half a djinni, Ishtar's father knew that one day the princess would also have to fulfill any wish that was made to her. To prevent this, the maharaja kept the princess locked up in the palace, surrounded by servants bowing to her every whim. Her father told her that her mother had died giving birth to her, and to this day Ishtar still believes this to be true.
Over the years, the young princess developed an insatiable curiosity towards what lie beyond the palace walls.. and eventually hatched a plan to escape to see the surrounding world. Having only the clothes on her back and some of her prized jewelry, she managed to get a boat ride across the sea, and soon after landing came upon a curious shop called 'the Lucky Noodle'...
