Sora let out a 'hmm' of interest and Inuyasha scowled a little. Ryou pulled the Millennium Ring out from underneath his shirt-- he usually kept it hidden. Inuyasha moved closer and tapped at the object, then shrugged. "Why don't you just toss it away? Or, better yet, not wear it."
Ryou shook his head slowly. "I can't do that. I mean, my friends tried before. I always get it back." He had been told that Tristan tossed it into the forests around Pegasus's castle, though he couldn't really remember. In fact, his yami could still come in contact with him even without the Millennium Ring on. It had happened when Yugi had had all the Millennium Items. "And it isn't really the Millennium Ring anymore. He just gets most of his power from it. But he hasn't been able to since I got here, but--"
Sora watched curiously as Ryou was silenced suddenly. He didn't know why, but decided to jump in. "Let me get this straight. There's a spirit in that necklace, and it's got powers from it and uses them to possess you, but you can't take it off or throw it away. I guess that also means you can't destroy it. But who is the spirit? Does he have any reason for possessing you, or can the ring be given to another person, and they have the spirit?"

Rei looked to ryou wondering if he knew. If he dident know she was unsur if she should tell him.

Ryou was looking doubtful for this kind of stuff. He sort of went with the 'if you ignore it, it'll go away' theory when he handled his yami. He tried not to think about it too much. "Well, uh..." He said uncertainly. "No, I think it's just me. Other people have had it, and I really don't think they were affected..." He said, shrugging. He hadn't been conscious when Marik had it at Battle City, and when Yugi had it he didn't wear it. "But, um... I don't know who he is... We don't exactly, uh, chat together. He, um--"
"Well, lemme ask you something else." Sora cut the stuttering boy off, and Ryou looked a little relieved. He leaned forward, looking from Ryou to Rei. "Just when exactly were either of you planning on telling the others about this crazy spirit? Don't you think the others would really like to know if a person could change into some bloodthirsty maniac in a moment's notice." Inuyasha shifted uncomfortably but didn't say anything. He was human now, so he didn't think he had to worry about becoming full demon, when he turned into a bloodthirsty maniac in almost a moment's notice.

Rin tugged on rei's shirt. "Im hungery..." she said "Ok..." Rei looked up "What do you guys want for dinner?"

The males looked somewhat startled at this new topic for conversation. Inuyasha quickly looked annoyed, Sora semeed satisfied with what had been shared, and Ryou was just relieved. He hated talking about his yami. The other two didn't speak up, so Ryou decided to. "Well, whatever you have, Miss Lynn. I could help with the cooking."
Inuyasha snorted loudly, and had to hide his snickers. "Sheesh, I wish your evil spirit would have just said that. Then I wouldn't have gotten attacked, and you wouldn't have that bruise. It's easier if we all just get along like this."
Ryou's eyes narrowed sharply, suddenly. Ryou's yami had been listening intently in on the conversation and making sure Ryou didn't speak too much. But this was just a little too far for the dark half. "I don't see why you don't seem to understand..." He said, his voice low and threatening. Inuyasha blinked and Sora seemed to be a little excited. "The reason why I came out to see you was because I allow nobody to take advantage of my host. Being as weak spirited as he is, the only way I can pay my 'rent' is by doing these 'favors' for him."

Rei sighed "I can understand that...sort of....But please dont be attacking people. Im sure ryou would like that much better as a favor. And I know inuyasha might have been a pain but a simple no would have sufised."

"Yes..." The yami said through his teeth, looking to Rei. "But just a no doesn't exactly stay in one's mind, does it? My method was far more affecting. I would have normally just taken his soul."
Sora couldn't help but feel excited. He had wondered about this other self. He ignored what the spirit was saying and moved forward. "So you're Ryou's, um, yami?" He asked, hoping he got the word right. "Do you have a name of your own or do we just call you Ryou as well? Or Bakura?" The spirit turned his sharp gaze onto Sora, studying him coldly, not saying anything.

The yami chose to completely ignore Sora at this point. "I couldn't even if I wanted to, anyway." He said, finding it odd that he would admit to his new weakness. He tossed the ice pack to the side and rose to his feet. Ryou slumped a little, and he stood much straighter, so he was now taller than Sora. "I won't be eating. Get out of my way." He added the last part in a growl to Inuyasha, who looked stubborn for a moment, then thought better of trying to pick a fight and stepped aside. The yami strode out of the room.

Rei sighed. Should would make somthing for ryou later "lets go to the kicthen rin" rei said holding rins hand.

"Hey, Inuyasha..." Sora said, leaving the room slowly with teh half demon. "That guy's more of an a** than you. You two ought to be friends." Inuyasha only responded to this ridiculous remark with a 'hmph.'

"Never." Inuyasha snarled, oddly harsh. "Didn't you see that look in his eyes? That kind of person would hurt whoever gets in his way without a second thought. That's the kind of person I hate. That's the kind of person my brother is."

"Huh?" Sora looked to Rei, then grinned. "Oh, sure. Heh, whatever's made will probably be better than what I'm used to." Inuyasha gave a sort of shrug to express his approval of hamburgers.
