(( Winghead could come in and help take out Lex, leaving the Bat Family to the Joker. I'd have no problem with that ))

"Not this time," said Lex as he activated the thrusters on his feet, lifting off of the ground enough to avoid the batarangs. "The same trick won't fool me twice." Rocket hand aimed not where the batarangs came from but about 25 feet to the left of that point, Lex fired. If they were still throwing batarangs, they knew how to shoot then move. It was the only way the explosion wouldn't have killed them.

Terry smiled. That was the nice thing about fighting intelligent opponents; they tended to beat themselves with their own logic. This time, of course, he hadn't moved at all. He just watched as Lex took out a support beam to his left, and then stuck a baterang in one of the grooves of the support behind him. Then he switched on his heat vision, shot forward to scoop up the girl, and detonated the baterang. "Good thing I'm pulling a different trick, then," he said in a low voice as the section of ceiling that had been supported by the destroyed beams collapsed inward... crashing down toward Lex. In the same movement with which he'd scooped up the girl, Terry had moved outside the impact area.

The explosion surprised him, because he knew what the creaking sound that immediately followed meant. "Oh, Hell..." The beam fell too quickly for him to evade, and he was slammed to the ground by the impact.
The Joker watched his warehouse collapse, and he couldn't help but smile. The hideout below wouldn't be affected, and it reminded him of the earthquake some years ago, resulting in the No Man's Land district.

After quickly checking to make sure that the Lex was still alive and not in critical condition, Terry shot up through the opening he'd made in the roof. He did not want to be around when Gossamer got her second wind, especially not with in his condition. He wasn't even sure how good of an idea flying was... Well, he'd just have to do his best.

Joker smiled as the Bat left. It pleased him to know that at least those who save Gotham can only be killed by those who harm Gotham. He WAS curious about the flight, though. Batsy didn't even use that kind of technology... "Let's go pick him up, shall we, Goss?" Joker asked, indicating towards Lex with his thumb.

Gossamer smiled the best she could and forced herself to her feet again. "Sure thing." she replied. Honestly she felt like she could topple over herself, but she should be able to walk most of it off. She could crash when she was sure there'd be no other problems.

"Are you alright? Need some help?" Joker's face became a look of genuine concern, something that looked a little odd on him, like his face was surprised it could still make that expression.

The Joker smirked at Gossamer. "Right. In any case, let's go." The clown started towards the now half-destroyed building.

Gossamer followed after Joker the best she could. Well, this place took quite a beating. After she cleared her head, she might be able to fix the place up again. She had the spells, just not the ability at the moment.
