The slim black cat at the far end of the room, partially hidden around the frame of the door, grinned his large Cheshire grin once again.
Alright...so maybe he'd let them go ahead with no interferance from him for a while. He had planned on heading over and making sure the big guy had heard about the girl's little outing. But...this had promice for an interesing plot as well. After all, he only got in the way for the sake of plot...or for fun. Fun was fun. Of course, this wasn't to say a black cat wouldn't cross their path before they got to the ivory tower. Bad luck you know.

All of a sudden, the Mistress sensed something amiss and her gaze bored into the shadows, "Hello, what have we here?"

The elder sorceress used her telekinesis to grab Crazy Cat by the back of the neck and cast a spell to dimensionally anchor the being to this location. Tapping her fingers on the floor, the Mistress narrowed her gaze while slowly moving the feline in the air toward the group, "We have a spy."

The smile instantly dissapeared from C.C.'s face as he felt something grab him from the back of his neck. Oh, of course...

He curled his legs up as he was dragged through the air and tried to jerk himself free of whatever it was. It didn't work, and he knew it wouldn't, but perhaps he could pull of the scared little kitty act again. It had worked once before after all. The others in the room might believe it anyway. And if not...well then he'd have to hope that the 'fates' were in a good mood.

"....mrow..." the cat replied once it stopped 'panicing' and looked up at her with large eyes, curling it's tail up under itself.

Victor could scent that the cat was no ordinary animal, it had some sort of power. "Well, fuzzball. We got you now, an' I aint buyin the 'simple kitty' act, so why dont you just drop it." He informed the feline.

The cat's ears fell back a bit more as he turned his wide eyes over to Victor. Well...couldn't be that simple after all, could it. Maybe he could pretend that he didn't understand them and...aw, screw it.

"How about the 'Puss in Boots' act? Would you buy that?" the black cat asked. He then curled his front paws up towards his chin as his eyes grew larger. He purred very gently as he looked up at the muscular man.
"I can pull off a rather good Cheshire Cat as well. All four versions...though I prefer not to do the emaciated one. Or that cat from Bezinghast. Heithcliff? Felix? Garfield?" he continued in a gentle and almost timid voice.

"How about 'Toothless Cheshire?' I think that would suit you much better, runt." He replied brandishing his fist.

The cat relaxed from it's pose, letting it's legs drop and hang while his ears drooped farther. He rolled his eyes and stuck his tounge out at the big guy.
"Fiiiiiiiiine..." the cat replied with a half whiny sigh. "So what do you want to do with your new 'captive spectator'? Skin me? Give me a bath? Put me in a little cage and ship me over to some exotic restaurant? De-claw me maybe?" he continued as he crossed his arms.
"I mean I was only watching...I'm a fan of a good show."

"Hmm. Maybe we can get you fixed..." Victor began.

The cat reflexively winced at the very word, an almost clear 'Does Not Want' look on his face. Ouch. Ow, ow, ow...no, bad, no. He needs that. "....I think I'd rather have a flea dip. Not that I have fleas, but......seriously, I was only watching! I was honestly being good this time..."

This time? He wondered. "As opposed to what time?" He questioned.

:ENTER FROM ?????????:

Arly waited in the shadows, watching the red head and cat. She kept her eyes on the overly gaudy woman just in case of trouble from her. I certainly hope they don't injure that cat too badly. She thought.

"As opposed to that time I let all of the other little experiments loose and let them run amok while those newbie heroes were left at headquarters...just to make the story interesting and see if they'd get everything nice and orderly again before the people in charge came back and grounded them all thinking they had a party or something..." the cat began, putting his paw up and extending a claw as one would when they were counting things off on their fingers.
"That time I 'fixed' one of the newbies rides so that he'd have to walk all the way back to headquarters...seriously, a quick fifteen minute ride is not entertaining at all. Or that time I helped out a few of the big mean bad guys out because it upped the interest factor for the fight with the heroes, then turned right back around and blew up the bad guy's machine that I helped them with because it added a much needed plot twist. The time I whispered little secrets to a few heroes and villains just to add some drama between them. The time I about cut that Blood boy off the wall with a laser and chainsaw because I hadn't been out for so long. Or that time I helped little miss witchy-poo exercise some anger management at a point in time that may or may not prove to add some tension between a few characters..." he continued, then stopped and blinked.
"Oh, I'm doing it again aren't I? Ah, heck, one or two people might remember what I'm talking about and giggle. Rest of you don't have a clue do you? Oh well. Point is. Sometimes I make things interesting for the sake of plot. Things that good guys would put me in time out for...as well as bad guys. You guys have a rather interesting idea, so I'm just watching. Why ruin a possibly good plot?"

Victor blinked at the cat. "Well, you sound like my kinda cat! But why were you spying on us?"
PostPosted: Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:20 am

The cat blinked in a small bit of surprise as well. His kind of cat? No lecture? The guy...liked him? Alright, someone needs to read up on unfamiliar characters a LOT more. He wasn't complaining though...wonderful turn of events. He knew people here would like him! It wasn't his fault most heroes thought he was too mischievous to be left alone too long.
C.C. smiled up at him. "I told you, I was just watching. At the moment, you're the most interesting thing going on right now. I'm rather impatient so I really didn't want to wait around for things to kick back up again." he replied.

Arly smiled at the cat's reamark, unsure on whether to acommodate him or not. Oh, hell with it. You only live one. Maybe twice... She thought and stepped out in to Crazy Cat's veiw.
