Jabez limped over to Achylis as he grasped his side. he rested by the waters edge an dipped his feet in the sparkling pool. "you wouldn't happen to know any healing spells would you?" he said breathing heavily.

 Oriana rose to her feet, the Ice orb opening once again and facing down at the roof. She glared up at Ebony and hissed, "I would bite your tongue before you end up with the same fate. They deserved everything they got... and should be thankful to escape with their lives." Hali glared up at her sister's icy form and used one of the water flosses to whap her in the back of the head, "Remember what I said!?" She shivered at the command in her voice, but knew her sister wouldn't harm her. Oriana turned her attention back to her fiancee, and the orb shrunk to a small little sphere that fell to the roof and slid down to the earth. ~~~~~ Achlys created a dip of water that held baby Gail up and rushed to Jabez's side, "A little bit... I'll see what i can do... Could you remove your armor? Do you need help?" her eyes hovered around him looking for a clasp, or hook to open the large breast plate. ^3^ I got my egg I've been wanting!Please click it so it lives!

Jabez nodded and unhooked the three clasps on the side of his armor, they were so decorative you wouldn't think them functional. the breast plate slipped to the earth with a thud. his pale skin was textured with hundreds of scars on his torso, but most noticeable was the purpling bruise that was consuming his side. he then released the armor on his leg and it revealed a swollen knee. Jabez then slowly lay himself down on the grass.

Achyls scooped up some water in her hands and closed her eyes, as the water dripped through her fingers it sparkled with healing energy. as it slid down his body it created a golden fluid bandage over his growing bruise and then down his body to his legs. "It will take a bit, but the water will slowly seep into your pores and heal you from the outside in... I hope that helps you... you should get some ice on your knee to take the swelling down, though." She went over and scooped Gail up from the little water cradle and laid her on her father's bare chest, "She's been missing you." Achlys cooed as she brushed the side of the giggling child's face, "She's lucky to have a father like you." ^3^ I got my egg I've been wanting!Please click it so it lives!

Jabez almost looked hurt by her words. "I hardly think im a fitting father. if only her mother were here. she wouldnt put Gail in danger, nor would she had put herself in danger. what would happen to Gail if i died?" Jabez felt as if he was sinking with depression and the child felt heavy on his chest.

"Jabez. You wouldn't have let yourself die because Gail was with you. Granted, if your partner were alive you wouldn't have to take her into danger... but also, your spouse wouldn't have been in danger because you would protect her." Achyls touched the side of his face, making him look at her, "If I were to have been in your situation I wouldn't have done a thing differently." she stood up and walked back onto the surface of the water, "If you ever need anything else... The Huscarl on the roof looked up at Ebony, her body had already recovered from the reasonably simple crush injuries inflicted by Oriana. Getting into a crouch, she regarded Ebony with something of curiosity.

Arvanna was too withdrawn to even notice Ebony, still shocked by the violence wreaked just minutes ago.

Auren shook his head as he stood up slowly. Close examination would warrent a sight that most people did not want to see. His body was pulling itself back together. Literally.
Tendrils of flesh stretched across the healing wound, pulling itself -- and him, together.
"Oriana... they're Huscarl... Both are extremely hard to kill. Remember that monster we fought in that mayor's house. Yeah." he said quietly.

Rayleth slipped away, intending to at least get the hell out. Skulking along an alley, he fought to control his emotions. What had happened was insanity. That one woman had fought and put down three Huscarl. Were there more like her?
Probably, yeah. And that did not bode well for Latera.

Oriana growled, "I know, I was going to crush her body completely, but then I got stabbed by my own flesh and blood." she glared over at her sister, Hali grumbled, "Well, You know what! in a little while when your temperature goes down... you're going to pass out, and your skin is going to be paper thin. And you're going to need a healer, and i might just be too busy to get to you." "You're not a healer!" she growled, "When my temperature drops and i get released from this form... I'll need more than your skills, or even moms..." Hali frowned, "Fine... I'll just go back to tending to Kaisers eye... At least my efforts were appreciated there!" she stormed off, full of frustration at first, then she slowly shuffled to Kaiser's side, "Are you alright?" she asked as she knelt down beside him. ^3^ I got my egg I've been wanting!Please click it so it lives!

Ebony looked at the Huscarl in astonishment, "Hey! Your arms fixed!" he proclaimed and pointed to her arm. he stared at her arm for a moment. "Hey thats cool, Im Ebony. Eh-bo-nee" he repeated and shook her hand excitedly.

Jabez smiled and felt better about being a single parent. he lifted Gail above him and looked into her big sparkling eyes, "she must do that on perpus." he said to himself, he smiled at the baby and once again felt content

Layselez looked up at Ebony... with a wierd expression as she stood up. Repeating his name slowly while he violently shook her hand... she shrugged. The word meant nothing to the Valkyrie as she leaned over, grabbed the steel bow, checked the string and then walked to the opposite edge and dropped off the building, sprinting down the street, a blur as she hopped from cover to cover.
She'd need to find Rayleth. Then they'd need to scoop up that cursed sage and get the hell out. Latera wasn't going to be happy with this...

Kaiser shook his head and looked up at Hali with his good eye.: Well as I'm going to be. I already lost an eye and the bleeding stopped, I think. I can't feel anything there either." he said with a sigh.
He kept a hand clasped tight over his destroyed eye, closing his good one and seemed to be thinking. In reality he was just glad to be alive, regardless of the damage already done to him.

Ebony's face was struck with devistation, "is it the horns?" he shouted after her. "nooo why to they always run away" he moaned to himself, then sighed.
he dropped from the building and knelt by Arvanna, "hey, you alright? you wont run away too will you?"

Hali jumped and took his hand that wasn't over his eye, "Maybe a healer can heal it! in one of my lessons they were saying something about a guy that learned to transplant organs from one body to another... the people just had to be freshly dead... less than six hours." She shuttered, "I don't even want to know how he figured that out..." she rubbed his hand and smiled, "And if we can't find him i could have someone make a white glass ball the size of an eye, find an incredibly gifted painter to paint the details, and have a psychic put a barrier around it so the paint fumes don't irritate your eye socket, and Taa Daa~! "Who's to say it would be painful... Psychics can block your senses... You are one... you should know. Plus, apparently this guy's like an expert at it..." she patted his head and smiled, "You wouldn't feel a thing!" when her fingers touched his hair she began "Misting..." her eyes shifted to the twitchy ears atop his head and her heart began to pound, 'just a few more inches and you can touch them!' her mind taunted as she fought the temptation. "I-I'm sorry... "Er, Hali?" Kaiaser asked quietly. "That's great and everything but I don't feel like going through all that effort, what's done is done and pretending that you can make it better when in the end you really can't... Doesn't help anything."
Kaiser noticed that her attention was on his ears, he arched an eyebrow.
"...My ears are that fascinating? Damn."
