elyzia Testicular Diabeetus I miss the blogging fourm, I think that you should have left it alone for the people that do blog in there. ;A; Since I don't feel like explaining the whole situation again, I'll just quote s**t that examples everything that was & is going on with that subforum & why I had to get rid of it & my frustration over people's reaction to it & whatnot.... "As for the Blogs subforum, I'm quite frankly really starting to get pissed off at how so many people want to keep it around yet practically nobody ever even posts in it, & perhaps more importantly nobody has come up with much of anything in the way of ideas regarding how to increase activity in that subforum & make it so it's NOT entirely dead.
I mean, how is it that 16 people voted to keep that subforum when 16 different people haven't even POSTED in that subforum within the past THREE MONTHS. Literally.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love to somehow make the Blogs subforum work out. As I stated from the very beginning, I've held off for as long as I possibly can on getting rid of that subforum because I love the idea behind it so much. But the fact of the matter is is that the Memorable Threads subforum might even be more active than the Blogs subforum, & the Memorable Threads subforum is for dead threads. How can so many people want a subforum to stay if they don't want to post in it?"

"Also, before I got rid of that subforum I posted in it telling people that if anybody wanted the subforum to stick around, they had to give me some ideas as to how to make it more active & successful, & stated that if nobody posted then that would in fact be helpful to because I'd know that nobody cared. Also, the subforum was DREADFULLY inactive. Nobody ever posted there. It was about as active as the Memorable Threads subforum, which is a subforum that people aren't SUPPOSED to post in. So what was I supposed to do?
I'm sorry, but it seems like no matter WHAT decisions I make for this guild there's absolutely nothing I can do to avoid a bunch of people being unhappy. "I was just asking. I loved to read everyones blog, I miss that. I was also wanting to start up a new one, I guess I'll just do that somewhere else.

To make sure this guild retains a "Democratic" nature -- & because our [myself & crew] heads can only extend so far -- we gladly welcome any & all suggestions you have regarding Burn. (What would you like to see us add? What would you like to see us change? etc. etc.)

You should add a marketplace forum. There are a lot of people in this guild and it would be fun to have one...plus I'm a forum marketplace junkie XD

We actually had something somewhat similar to that for the first 9-12 months of this guild's existence. Ultimately, I decided to get rid of it because it was incredibly inactive & did actually seem somewhat pointless.
Plus, there's the fact that all such posts on that topic would currently belong in the Gaia Life subforum, as would posts on many other topics, yet the Gaia Life sub still definitely isn't very active. So, yeah, that doesn't bode well for the future success of a Marketplace forum.
Your suggestion is appreciated, though!

That is actually a pretty cool idea. I have seen them outside the guild. If you want, you can PM me with your ideas, and I'll see what we can do. If we can't have something like that, just maybe a small betting thing or something like that would be fine.
No use hoping for a miracle.

K, so.. I haven't searched the guild high and low for this, and I don't log on a lot.. So excuse the suggestion if it already exists, and I just missed it, but I think just a straight forward hangout thread would be nice. Less directed at certain topics, and more directed at.. whatever we want..? Lol. I don't know, I'd definitely go to it.
