Sapphire nodded. "While Zen's army is distracted, sir Ebenezer and a small group of soldiers went to infiltrate Zen's castle. Meanwhile, we're trying to just win the current battle in front of us." She explained. They had evened out the battle a bit now after stealing some of Zen's airships and now either side could lose.

"Well, hopefully things start to fall in our favor." Hector commented. "This war could be over any day now, we just need all the peices to fall into place."
"Perhaps if we built an enormous weapon of our own?" Hector pondered under his breath.

"Yes, we could win this. Before it seemed impossible for us. But now our hope for victory has gotten us closer than ever to defeating Zen." She said. One of their airships suddenly went crashing down over head as it had been shot down. Sapphire sighed. "I pray this will all be over soon.."

"As do I. But Until then I will have to do my duty." HEctor stated boldly.
"Speaking of which, my bow was destroyed in the blast on Violet Hill. Do you know of any master smiths that could make me a new one?"

"The closest smith I can think of would have to be at Deralo City." She said as her mind wandered off a bit, thinking if there was anywhere closer. "You might be able to get a new one there, but then again, it might of been destroyed in that blast as well.."

"Well, we just have to see." Hector responded. "I've also heard of another somewhere on Terkit mountain. Finding him is a difficult task, but a risk I am willing to take."
Hector began to walk off towards the mountain. "I'll see you in a bit princess." HE said as he walked away.

Sapphire nodded. "Be careful." She simply said as she waved him off. She turned back to the war. Well, there went all her commanders. It was just her and her men now.

Hector returned, with his new bow in hand.
"Would you believe the smith was waiting for me?" he asked.

Sapphire turned around to see Hector again. It was pretty fast. "Waiting for you? How in the world would a smith know when you need a new bow?" She asked in confusion.

"They do." She said as she thought back to the stories of the ancient war. "Zen was the enemy of the ancient war, just like this one. He almost had the other army defeated and the world to himself when angels descended from the sky and helped to defeat Zen's army. That right there is proof of their hatred for Zen." She explained. She wondered why the angels hadn't come for them like they had for the army opposing Zen in the ancient war.

[Not sure if you were there for the whole Angel Eclipse thing, Steampunk..]
A large light came from in back of the battle, behind Sapphire and the rest. She turned around to see a blast resembling the Angel Eclipse's. "Zen's got his weapon back, everyone down and get cover!" She cried out and jumped behind a rock. She looked back up though, the blast went right over them. "What?" She asked as it headed for the most part, Zen's side of the battlefield.
The mana blast headed straight for Zen's men. "Zen betrays us?" One soldier of Zen asked. The powerful blast struck the ground of Zen's side. Airships were sucked into the blast and the blast threw soldiers everywhere. Some of the blast managed to hit some of Deralo's men, but not anywhere near the number of Zen' soldiers that were hit. The blast ended and smoke from small fires from the blast site filled the air.
"Did.. did Zen just strike his own men?" Sapphire asked in confusion.

"Looks like he did." Hector commented. "I knew he was insane, but to this extent?"
"Unless of course something else diverted the blast."
[Eh, I don't really remember being here, but I read your chapter updates so I have the basics.]
