Kiana finished with the last of the boys minor injusries, most the bleeding from them had stopped. Now came the tricky part, removing the arrow without causing him too much pain. "Ok, what I need you to do is relax your muscles as much as you can. I know it might be difficult because of the pain, but please try."

"Well, of course. Let the Bears and the Mountian Lions eat them." Katara said, smiling weakly to Quin. She looked towards Gill, and started to make arangments. "Gill, if you can, I want you to find Derak and Korrin. I'm go back to the town and assemble a group to collect the bodies and bury them in the graveyard of the town. Poor souls." She said, looking back at Kiana. She leaned down and whispered in her ear so that she could only hear, "Quin is the last dragoon, he doesn't know it though." She rose and turned on her heel, and started walking swiftly back towards the other camp.

Katara was about to talk him out of it, but he ran back to the town. She crossed her arms and grumbled under her breath. She sighed, looking towards Kiana, "You better do what he says. I'll be right back." She ran back towards the other camp, and stopped, breathing heavily. She saddled her horse quickly, and mounted it, riding it to the gaurds tent. She dismounted and ran inside. They were discussing some about the town.

"Girl...Oh. It's you Katara. We are all in your groups debt." The officer in charge smiled.

"Oh. Well, thank you." Katara said, shrugging off the thank you and got to business, "Derak came back for...a brift amount of time. He says to get the towns people to other town. Peferably bigger, with a bigger armed forces. There is something in that town that has Derak shakened. Obviously, our attacks have been useless. Get these people to a bigger town by morning. Our group is heading straight for the mountians. Where those horses Derak brought you?" She said.


Katara tied the last horse to the string of them and mounted her steed. She led the horses towards the madic camp. She reached there and took off the amount of horses needed, three, one for Kiana, one for Quin, one for Gill. She eyed the black brute that was once a enemies horse. She decided that one to be their supply carrier, instead of being killed. She Was about to go to the town, but she would let Korrin and Enzeru return on foot. Then the five of them could choose the horse they wanted. She sighed, untying all of the horses to let them graze. They need to make time, or else they would have none.

Enzeru saw Derek on a horse running in her direction. With both her hands, she started to wave him down, hoping that he could see her. She wondered to herself weather or not she should tell him about what she over heard the two men say. She didn't want him to worry about her, but she also didn't want to put them in any more danger than they were already in.

Kiana nodded, taking the bottle and doing a Katara did. "Thank you, this should make it much easier and less painful for him." When they finished rubbing in the oils, she handed the bottle back to Katara. "Ok Quin, I'm going to pull the arrow out now. Your muscles should be lose enough for it to slide right out." She carefully took hold of the arrow, making sure not to move it any and placed her free hand on his back around the entry point. "Katara, can you keep him steady just in case please?"

Quin nodded, a grim smile on his face, one fighting with pain. "That lotion helped." A moment later, after a few breaths, he nodded once more. "Just get it out." He held his breath, trying to loosen the relaxed muscles even farther, and awaited more pain.

Katara smiled, before looking over at Kiana. Kiana was so caring, it was hard to even think she could kill if she had to. Would she? Katara sighed, this life was hetic. "I'm sure you've got it now, Kiana." She said, standing. "When you get Quin patched up and everything, we should gather the group that's in the camp and start for the mountians. The officers of the town are already hustling the town's people to the town about 25 to 30 miles ahead. We'll go straight towards the mountians." She said. She reached into her pocket and felt the smooth hot surface of the red orb.
