Marcus kept his hands tucked into his jacket pockets and his hood up. "I travel a bit. Only when I really have to though, you know, when I get into trouble. But the cities always feel the same to me, different faces and buildings but nothing new." The reason he would get into trouble varied. It could be he got too comfortable using his powers and because he was careless, he got caught using them. Or just leaving to avoid the police. "I can see myself staying here for a bit though, maybe not permanently, but for awhile." Marcus looked to the fountain, catching a glimpse of himself in the waters reflection and quickly looked away. He felt awkward around Akido, as he felt around most woman, finding it difficult to make eye contact. Though no one could see how he really looked, he could see his true appearance and it made him self conscious.

Akido smiled, "Well none of us are here permanently. I can only stay till my next birthday. Technically this is a school and once you hit the age limit its time to find a new home or join the staff. I'll probably be bailing out in a couple of months." Shrugging her shoulders she ran a hand through the water as they passed the fountain watching the fae magic shimmer around where it met the water. No one else could see it but it amused her for a moment until they passed, "So any big plans when you hit the road again? Or do you prefer to let the road direct your path?"

"Yeah, I can't say that I plan on becoming part of the staff" He chuckled. "Can't say I'd be a good teacher..." Marcus paused for a moment in thought, "Security might not be so bad..." Marcus shook his head slightly, getting the thought out of his head before he actually considered it. "So what do you plan to do when you leave here. You going back home or just gonna keep with the traveling?" Marcus's eyes were gazing at the flowers as they passed them. He couldn't smell them however, his entire nose was practically removed in the accident. His new -and fake- nose left him with no sense of smell.

Falling to her knees in front of some roses she took a deep breath enjoying the scent of the flowers gently touching one of the petals with care as he spoke his question was an old wound as she answered plainly for once, "I am never going home." She had once said that with despair now she stated it as a fact. Like a man who knows he is going to die, the struggle has ended and fate has been accepted. "I will just move on. Find somewhere I haven't been before. Go through the whole new ID deal and get a job back in the hospital streams." Moving back to her feet in a fluid motion she wasn't looking forward to what was to come. To stay here longer than a few months was to endanger them all they had enough problems with the humans and people would notice she didn't age. Then there was she hated her current appearance and she could only change that so much while she was Akido Watson.

Marcus stopped and watched Akido enjoy the flowers. After living in the city for so long, Marcus grew used to the lack of flowers and really didn't care for them much anymore. He couldn't smell them, they were just another plant to him. But when he watched Akido, obviously finding some beauty in them, a bit of a smile formed. But the sudden change in her tone faded that smile, there was some issue with her and home, she made that obvious. "Well, I suppose that plan doesn't sound too bad..." Marcus couldn't help but notice it sounded alot like what he would do. Though there was some definite differences between Marcus and Akido, their also seemed to be some similarities.

She smiled at him, "I think it's a lot of fun. Get to see a knew place whenever I want. The forests the plants the whole world is right there for the taking. I don't plan on missing it." Jogging a few steps ahead to another plant, "Like I heard that there is this place in Asia where they have pitcher plants big enough to fit a VW into, or Africa where the grasslands stretch for miles and the skies are so blue." Her grin broadened as she spoke of places she had yet to see her enthusiasm building. Picking a flower she moved on to another making a small bouquet but staying in range to hear him. She had her mood swings but nothing seemed to keep the girl down for long. Finding a spot of grass she flopped down setting the flowers to the side as she braided the grass to hold them together moving them easily to fit her needs. "There is so much world out there. You never know who you are going to meet. Like did you know I actually ran into Steven Tyler once. Rear ended his limo trying to get to his concert." Shaking her head at the memory it had been a blast. Talking about her human years was fun it was little facts that slipped back to the rest of her life that pissed her off.

Marcus was a bit amazed as he listened to Akido, she was just so optimistic and full of life, much different then the people Marcus was generally surrounded with. It was then Marcus realized he had completely forgotten about trying to figure her out and had simply been going on a walk. This could be problematic. Crawling out of his head, he looked over to Akido sitting in the grass. Planting himself down next to Akido with a sigh and folding his legs. "What are you making" He asked looking at what she was crafting then at her.

"Bouquet." She said simply with a smile, "I don't have any nice ribbon or anything but this will work just fine." Pulling some more grass she braided it together until it was long enough to wrap around the assortment of flowers where she finished it carefully so as not to break the grass before holding it up with a smile and setting it down next to her lying back to soak up the sun. The skin of her glamour was pale but she would never burn as her own skin was forever sun kissed with a rich almost cappuccino color. It was to bad she was trapped in the form the school had first seen. It would be to suspicious to change it now.

Marcus grunted in response and inspected the bouquet with his eyes. His mind raced with thoughts of how Akido's appearance didn't match at all with her personality, but Marcus has seen stranger. It was then Marcus gazed down at Akido. Maybe it was the way the sun hit her or just the fact that they were out in the fresh air surrounded by a fantastic garden, but Marcus all at once noticed how beautiful she was. What ever the reason, Marcus didn't like it. Not wanting to stare, Marcus averted his gaze, but not for long. His eyes almost unnaturally drawn to her.

Luke shook his head slightly from side to side before calling to BJ "Just how stupid do you think they are!?" Then he started walking up the stairs towards his own room, muttering angrily the whole way "These guys aren't your normal anti-mutant group. They're the weaponized version. Probably want to off anyone having to do with us..." He grumbled before letting out a deep sigh. Alright, gotta get a hold of myself. If I go to far with this I may end up snapping something, or someone like a twig.... He sighed again as he passed a girl with orange hair "Really gotta cool my temper..." As he said this his hair frosted and a thin layer of ice appeared on his forehead.

Closing her eyes she snuggled down into the grass, "I love the outdoors." she said in quiet contentment oblivious to the fact Marcus was watching her. Folding her arms behind her head she looked up into the sun for a moment happy that it had lasted this long though part of her knew times like these were brief. The silence didn't bother her as her mind wandered before she opened one eye to look at Marcus with a smile, "I'm boring you to death aren't I? First I make you listen to Biology talk, then I interrupt you nap, now I am dragging you into a garden just because."
It took every ounce of her self control not to say what was on her mind but it couldn't stop her from calling back, "Well they can't be that smart if they can't take out a group of teenage outcasts." Stalking to her room she slammed the door dumping her bag out onto the bed begging not to have a room mate since in her mood she had missed Teddy completely. Digging through until she found a pair of jean cut-offs she slipped them on pulling on her boots afterward. Digging through the bag until she found the black tank top it was tighter across the chest than it used to be but that was a fact of life she had learned to deal with. Still scowling as she laced up her boots she didn't unpack. If everyone at that school was like Luke she'd either have to kill someone or leave.

From a sheer force of will, Marcus managed to avert his gaze to the grass, this time keeping it there. "No, I don't mind. Guess it's good for me to get out side every now and then. Go knows I wouldn't do it on my own." Marcus said as he gazed around the garden through squinted eyes, "Besides, your a pretty tolerable person" he looked up at Akido with a smirk.

As BJ laced her boots, a trail of ice slid under the door a note frozen to the end. The note stopped at about eye level in front of her, reading:
Actually they would have killed us. It was the real wolves that saved our asses. That and from what one of them was yelling, the generator thingy broke down at some point. Probably fixed by now though.

Opening her eyes she propped up on her elbows letting her elbows looking at him, "Just tolerable?" she said with mock horror. Rolling onto her side she poked his to see if he was ticklish. Hoping he was. It was a good way to get back at someone and tease them all at once. She knew she was ticklish but generally never let people get that close. The glamour was just an illusion. Her physical form was different than the one she let others see. Even her skin felt different than a humans.

Looking up when the ice entered she tried to scowl at it, but it was kind of amusing to see ice work that way. Tying the last knot in the hiking boots she stood up saying through the door, "That's why I am not planning on getting caught. It's not like I am going to ring the bell and run. I just want to take a look." Opening the door she looked out for Luke wondering just where the ice had come from and hoping they were not neighbors. Looking from side to side she wondered the easiest way to get out back. She had a basic idea where the stuff was from the pushy office woman but actually getting there was always different.
