"That sounds like an idea," Lore chuckled at that.
He glided back over to her giving her a quick hug before asking.
"What do you need?"

Elnara hugged Lore back, grateful for the warmth, and smiled at him. "Blankets and sheets from the closet at the end of the hall," she instructed him, "so that we can make the bed up for her ... candles, a pillow ... and we have to make sure the bookshelf is clear, I'm sure she'll be bringing a library of her own, even if she's already memorized nearly every book in the valley."
She giggled softly and squeezed Lore's hand, then turned back to Adanedhel. "Tell her to come over whenever she's ready," she smiled warmly. "We look forward to having her here."

Adanedhel grinned and nodded. "Will do," he agreed. "Keep warm. I'll be seeing you."
And as quickly as he had arrived, he was gone.

Lore watched as Adan left, he had chuckled at Elnara's comment about Alyse bringing her own library, but he could see it, especially if Alyse was going to be here when they got snowed in.
"I'll go get those things then," he told her a peck on the temple before going off to get the requested items.

Elnara giggled softly, and as Lore headed towards the closet, she herself headed to the kitchen to get her cleaning supplies. Not that she needed much ... a cloth to wipe everything down and dust everything and make the room clean.
Once she had what she needed, she headed to the room where Alyse would be staying and began to wipe everything down.

Lore came in a few moments later his arms full of blankets, and sheets, on top of that were the candles and on top of that were the pillows, done this way so the candles wouldn't fall off.
"I think I have everything," Lore murmured, "Where shall we put the things in the bookshelf?"

Elnara paused in her work as Lore entered the room, and at his question she looked over at the shelf.
"There isn't much," she mused quietly. "Some writing tools ... those can go on the desk ..."
She used the bed to help herself back up to her feet, and began to take the things from Lore - first the pillows, which she set on the bed, and then the candles, which she held as she looked around. "Desk," she murmured, "bookshelf, bedside table ... where should these go?"

"Huh...." Lore looked around for a moment, "Maybe one on the bedside table... another at the desk...."
He wondered if there was a window sill, though at night those would be the two main places to have a candle.
"Perhaps assuming she'll be writing or reading.. in bed."

"Not very safe," Elnara murmured, "but I suppose she would try nonetheless ..."
She pursed her lips thoughtfully, then laughed softly. "Oh, why don't we just put them all on the desk for now," she suggested, "and then she can put them wherever she wants to later on? I think we should focus on just making the room livable for now ... bed and dusting and the like."
She tossed her dust cloth onto the bedside table, then took the candles from Lore and moved to put them on the desk.

"Somehow it wouldn't surprise me if she had tried," Lore replied with a chuckle.
Though he did realize in an after thought that she might not need a candle to read. As far as wanting to read at night went.
"Good idea," Lore nodded as he set down the beddings so the bed could actually be made.

Elnara came back to the bed and picked up two corners of the bottom sheet.
"It will be ... quite different, having someone else in the house again," she murmured as she helped Lore make the bed, piece by piece. "It's hard to think, but ... it's been quite a while since it's been anyone more than you and I. I think I'm actually used to not having the children around anymore ..."
Not that half of them were still children anymore - Skye had a boyfriend, Celebor had an entire family, Shiro was already looking into an occupation, Silvrendir had gone off on his quest ...

Lore had to laugh a bit at that, "Well, between Alyse and the coming baby... we'll both have time to get use to having at least someone around."
Even though there wouldn't be a lot of people around when they got back. Just thinking about how much the others had grown made him go down memory lane.

Elnara giggled along with Lore and set one hand on her swollen belly.
"I can't wait for that time to come," she murmured happily. "Every day ... I just feel more and more excited ... every time I think about the fact that you and I ... have created another being, one that will be both of us together and still someone all his or her own ... I just ... I just want to burst with happiness. It's amazing, it really is ..."
She smiled up at him. "We should think of names."

"Yes... we should," Lore just realized they hadn't talked about it at all, he chuckled a bit.
This could take a while, especially since he didn't know what sort of names quite yet.
"I guess we should make a list."
