She giggled and clutched him tight for a moment before looking back at Akio, her eyes shining. "Well. I am determined to find you a girlfriend! Or....boyfriend, whichever comes first." She nuzzled his nose. "You ok? About Thade....You really liked him."

He kissed her forehead. "Yeah...I did. Hell...I wouldn't mind finding a boyfriend," he paused "Or girlfriend, if just to make him jealous." He chuckled and rubbed her arm.

Anya didn't say anything at first, instead she nestled her head in the curve of his neck. Then, "You're not a wash rag. And he's a jerk. It's a simple equation. And you don't need someone like him leading you on. You don't deserve to be treated that way."

Akio smiled and rested his cheek on her head. "Wash rag or not, I can't help but love him." A pause, "Or perhaps I'm infatuated with him. The former seems quite unlikely, so it must be the latter," he said more to himself than anything. "..Plus, people think I'm weird. There aren't a lot of people who would actually date me."

"That's not true!" Anya cried. "There are loads of people who would love to date you. You're sweet and fun and smart and giddy and bright and good-looking and happy and lovely!" She said this all in one breath and blinked quickly before letting her head fall slightly to the side. She quickly straightened back up again and took a deep breath. "Sorry," she said. "Dizzy."

Akio smiled. "I was serious, you know." He nudged her again and patted the top of her head. "No. I'm not going to give up. I'm not going to be used..." He practically hissed. "So...how about it? Why don't we go on a date?" His face quickly morphed into a large, open-mouthed smile.

Kiera Elise sat in the nearest chair to the fire. She stretched her arms up and yawned a bit before pulling her knees close to her chest. The fire was warm,it was causing kiera to slowly fall asleep. The book in her lap began to slide off her chair and onto the floor with a loud thud. It seemed to echo through all the hallways. She sighed and leaned over to grab the book off the floor,the cover read Numerology and Grammatica. She pulled it up,dusted the book off and tucked it under her arm as she stood up. Studying was not keeping her attention at the moment,so she slid her book into her bag and pulled out another one quietly and sat back down. She ran her fingers over the cover slowly and smiled,the words Secrets of the Darkest Art bumped under her fingers. She pulled open the book and began reading...

Hana glided in the common room with fire at her heels. She loudly sat down on the couch and sighed in an unwomanly manner. "Men.." she muttered to herself. She turned her attention to the only other person in the common room. "Whadd'ya working on?" she inquired.

Kiera smiled as the girl sat on the couch,muttering about men. "Well i was working on my Arithmancy homework,but i cant seem to keep focused so i...well i began reading this" She held the book up slowly and unsure to the girl,wondering what her reaction would be. The words Secrets of the Darkest Art seemed to burn out of the cover more than before,now that someone was in the room with her. She smiled to the girl "so men problems?" she said quickly to try and change the subject before too much questioning began.
