She smiled at him "Yeah." she nuzzled him back and looked at his paw "We'll have our own family soon." she waved her tail.

He smiles in return, touching his paw to her cheek gently. "Do you need anything Rose? Want to rest? The sun is going down."

She closed her eyes, leaning her cheek in his paw "Alright." she said and slowly stood up. It had been a long and busy day for them both, a good night's rest sounded really nice.

He smiles as he helps her back into the cave. "Here we go. I hope it's more comfortable. I added more hay." He lays down next to her and stretches his hind legs out a little to stretch them.

She looked at him "Thank you." she said and laid on her side, huffing and sprawled her legs out "I'm exhausted." she yawned and looked at Aradel, he has been so nice to her throughout this whole thing. She laid her head down and closed her eyes, smiling.

He closes his eyes, holding her close to him. "Goodnight Rose. Sleep well..." He smiles and falls asleep next to her. Next day

Rose was sprawled out across the floor laying on her side when the sun started to shine in. Luckily there was the wall there so the light didn't hit her eyes like before. She flicked her ear, not wanting to move any more than that. She felt horrible, her whole body felt like it was throbbing.

Aradel stretches as he stirs, yawning a bit. He had not slept well, thinking too much about what was happening so quickly. He opens his eyes and faces his mate. "Are you ok..?" He watches her worried.

She clinched her eyes "My stomach hurts." she said and looked at him "I think it's getting close." she put her head back down.

He moves closer to her, brushing his paw across her forehead gently. "I'm here. I won't leave your side Rose." He frowns as she complains about her stomach hurting her.

She curled her paws in by her, clinching her eyes "I must look.... pretty pathetic right now, huh?" she asked, giving a small smirk then flinching again "I wish my parents were here."

He nuzzles her cheek, gently feeling over her stomach. "I feel movement..." He stays close to her, giving warmth and comfort. "You look just fine Rose. Your a strong lioness."

"You're sweet, lying but sweet." she said, flopping her head on the hay. She huffed, thumping her tail on the ground and dug her claws into the ground.

He strokes her side soothingly, not sure what else to do. "Any lioness that does this is strong Rose." He nuzzles her, licking her cheek, wishing he had something more he could do for her.

She clinched her teeth and let out a painfilled roar, digging her claws in even more and pulling dirt and hay by her.
