They shook hands. "Glad to meet you." He looked at the girls once James had. The one with the green hair hadn't recognized him at all. He shrugged and turned his attention to James again. "I have a different... kind of sword, but I've always appreciated the unique ones. I've always had an interest in swords, even when I was younger. My father-" He stopped dead short in his sentence there. His eyes seemed to go blank and he dropped his cane.

James quietly raised an eyebrow at Kumizu and waved his hand infront of the man's face. "Are you okay?" he asked in a slightly worried tone. He shook his head and sighed, leaning on the case a bit more. "Kumizu, hello?" he said again, his fingers drumming gently on the glass case.

He shook his head, jerking himself back out of his mind. "Yes, I'm fine. I, just dropped my cane, that's all." His hand went to the ground, momentarily losing his friendly look, but picked it up again as soon as he had his cane.

James nodded slightly, standing up straight infront of the man. Fafenir swung a bit on his belt, and he rested his left elbow on it. "So, see anything you like?" he asked, back to leaning on the case slightly.

He was leaning a bit more heavily on the cane than before now, but he held the friendly smile. "I don't even know where to begin." He looked through them carefully. He stopped at one with a long blade, and a hilt very intricately made, like Celtic. However, it was encrusted with emeralds. "Never been a fan of that gem." He managed a small laugh as he looked through. "These all are amazing. Who crafted them?"

He smirks at her response. "Well I suppose I could take you to it ...if I knew where it was" sweatdrop he smiles a little wider as he slightly tightens his grip on her hand. "Wanna go and find one?...or maybe..maybe I can find one...it is a long shot and I never tried it out before but I have a theory that might work..." he says looking up at the sky thoughtfully. "So you would of asked Kurai if he wasnt already going with someone then? " he says looking back at her smiling. He really wasnt expecting to goto the dance period, he didnt know enough of anyone to really be concerned with such things.

"Most of them I collected through various means. Buying, trading or simply a kind word or two. A few of them were collected through hazarding through various tombs and crypts however. But some of them, like the ones on the bottom, were crafted by me." he said, a somewhat proud smirk on his face. He chuckled softly and tapped his thumb on the case, the glass rattling slightly. "I don't do it often, though." he added.

"Very professionally done. I'm impressed. My sword is a bit different from these kinds." He clenches his right hand into a fist and a blue, glowing blade extends out. "My strength relies heavily on the element of water. This sword is made out of pure water energy, which is what gives it the blue tone. It's easy to carry around as well." He relaxes his hand and it disappears. "The sword's still just as deadly, of course."

James smiled slightly and said "Thank you." when Kumizu offered praise for his craftsmanship. When Kumizu drew his weapon, a sword made of elemental magic, Jame smirked a bit. "Ahh..Very interesting. It appears quite handy. I, on the other hand, use this." he said, patting the hilt of the blade at his waist. It's sheath gleamed wildly in the light for a moment, before James smirked and pulled his cloak up on it. He glanced back over at Ali and Alexis, and said "Well, I'd best be getting back to my friends..They might look happy, but they could strangle each other at any time.." with a chuckle. He leaned over and re-wrapped the case and picked it up by the rope and tossed it over his shoulder, wincing at the slight cracking sound that resulted.

Kumizu cringed. He had a feeling what the answer would be, but he asked anyway. "Do you want any help with that or anything?"

James shook his head slightly and said "No, no. I'm fine. Probably just the glass of the case, anyway. I'll see you later, then." with a slight smile. He turned towards the dorms and quickly waltzed off, the case swinging a bit with his steps. The bottom of Fafenir's sheath poked out the back of his cloak, looking like an odd tail as be moved. He eventully disappeared from sight, towards the Dorms.

Kumizu just stood there, not even sitting down. He wasn't sure where to move from this point. He recognized the feeling he had gotten when he mentioned his father... I usually have more time. How could he find me this quickly? He wasn't about to pack up his bags and run. He looked down and realized he had no bags anyway. Well, he wasn't about to run.
This was odd. The feeling usually strengthened or weakened, but never subsided completely, as it did now. He realized what was going on. False signals meant spying. Spying meant he was being toyed with. Kumizu whipped around the area, looking on the ground, in trees, rooftops, windows, and anywhere else he noticed a person could be hiding. "Come out you b*****d!" he screamed. There was nothing.
He sighed and slumped down onto a bench near where the case had been. He isn't going to come back now. Worst of all, Kumizu never really knew when he would.

James's tall figure strolled into the courtyard, yet again, from the direction of the Dorms. He quietly made his way back over to the girls, stopping infront of them and smiling. "Ahh. Hello you two, I'm back. Did I miss anything important?" he asked. He stared at Alexis for a moment, whom he presumed was still testing her new sword, to Ali who looked rather nervous about it. He chuckled softly and walked over, to pat Ali on the head gently.

Alexis put the sword back into it's sheath and took out a pack of cigarettes.
Ali smiled slightly, looking up at James as he patted her on the head. "Alright, I know you're tall already," she said, smiling.
Alexis rolled her eyes, now lighting the cigarette she had in her mouth. She took a long drag on the cigarette and then exhaled the smoke in Ali's face.
Ali waved the smoke away. "Thanks," she said sarcastically.

James chuckled slightly and sat down on the bench next to Ali, ignoring the smoke that had inadvertantly been pushed into his face. He looked up into the sky, as he so often did and noted that it was indeed getting darker. He chuckled softly and turned to face the twins, smiling at them as brightly as ever. He leaned back in the chair, Fafenir oddly positioned next to him and said "Ahh..A peaceful moment."
