Amanda wanted so bad to chuckle but she couldn't."You don't understand...and I dont want to hurt you..so I won't say it.." she still cried but her sobbing calmed down. She bit the inside of her lower lip. She knew other possibilities..but she wouldn't be like Bella..though she wanted so bad for it to be real...

Edward looked at her oddly. He was confused and it didn't help that he couldn't read her mind.
"It's alright, you can go ahead and say it. I don't mind getting hurt, it's you I'm worried about." He sighed and rested his head on her lap. "Tell me what is it you want, and I'll do it as long as it doesn't jeopardize your life."
There was no way he could afford to lose her, not ever. Being near her made him crazy, his senses were out of tune and he could feel the venom start to pour. He shut his eyes tight and tried to think of something other than how delicious she smelled.

Alice watched the conversation between the two of them. She knew if Edward did leave he would come back, she had seen a vision of it. She then looked up at Jasper. "I think we should leave now." she whispered, pulling him towards the door. Once they were outside she said "I've never seen Edward that confused and upset before."

Amanda carfully placed her hand on his cheek. She couldn't say it.."you'll get mad or somthing..I just know it.." she whispered. She closed her eyes and tried to explain. "when I first read the book.Yes I know it sounds stupid but listen..the character portrayed as you..apealed to me. The morals and concepts that went through his mind..made mine seem sense..."
She opened her eyes and looked at him. "And now..I know he's real. " she looked away for a moment then to the ground. "Ed..I know you may not be completley the same but..its just hard to explain..I mean." she bit her lower lip lightly. "lets just say I'm falling hard..and I'm afraid if you catch me..I wont let go.." she whispered

There weren't many things in the world that actually took Edward by surprise anymore....but what Amanda had told him caught him off guard. He was speechless for a moment, he couldn't think or do anything consciously.
"Amanda...I.....don't know what to say to that." He really was speechless, that was sort of a new thing to him. It didn't happen often.
Edward placed his hand over hers and shut his eyes tightly, his teeth clenched audibly and he hissed between his teeth.
"I am wrong for you....I am a dangerous person, not to mention greedy when I say....what if I don't want you to let go?" He coudn't bear to look at her now, he was too ashamed of himself.

She was shocked when eh said that. "It's not really greedy when I say it back..." she looked down at him her hair falling over her shoulders.
"Ed I know you can be dangerous..but I know you'll never hurt me...you said it yourself.." she rubbed her thump over his cheek softly. "I don't think I'd be able to let go..."

The feeling of her touch made his mind wander. It made him....a bit calmer but being that she was human and her smell was tantalizing....he had to get a grip on himself.
"Amanda..." Edward whispered, it wasn't like he was calling to her, more like savoring the taste of her name on his lips.
"I make you no promises, but I'll try my hardest to snuff out my thirst for your blood. I only hope my strength is as up to par as I boast." He mumbled the last bit, he hated admitting that sort of thing.

Amanda nodded. "Thats all I ask.." she wanted so bad to hug him..but she knew it would only make it worse."I'll try and help out as I much as I can..." she tried to make him happier.She lifted his head to look at her "Okay?"

Edward looked into her eyes, it frustrated him....her mind was still blank to him. He felt himself get lost for a moment, he snapped back into reality and smiled a crooked smile.
"Alright...I only hope I'm doing the right thing." Edward sighed and gently lifted her off the couch, placing her on his lap.
He wrapped his arms around her, more like draped them though, he didn't want to end up hurting her. Edward pulled her against his body and gently brushed his lips against her neck.
"I hope the bloodlust gets easier...."

Amanda smiled softly and leaned against him. His lips on her neck made her close her eyes for a split second..she wasn't scared.
"Maybe..if you stay around..you'll get used to the scent..and it'll be easier.." she was whispereing now.

Edward nodded just once.
"That's what I was hoping for." He smiled, it was a cross between happiness and....well.....another emotion he couldn't place.
He rubbed his hands up and down her arms, creating some friction which would hopefully give her some sort of warmth. Her skin was so smooth, if he didn't know any better she could have been a vampire herself.
"Well, I'd hate to be the cause of your boredom, what would you like to do love? Would you....like to meet my family?" Edward grinned like a mad man.

Amanda chuckled . "Yes I'd love to meet your family." she smiled and slowely stood up off him.
She was only wearing a sweater and jeans.."hold on.." she went upstairs and rumaged through her clothes looking for a blouse or somthing..She found a violet blouse. The neck was high but the sleeves were slit open.."grrr" she groaned.SShe pulled out a black off the shoulder blouse without thinking and slipped it on. She switched to a darker shaded jeans and grabbed her scarf and put it on then went back downstairs. "ready..."

Edward stood up after she had gotten up off of him and took the time to poke his head outside and check if anything was wrong or different. There wasn't at the time but he couldn't be too careful, especially with the rampaging Jacob running around doing who knows what. When he heard her shift upstairs, possibly coming back down, Edward quickly shut the door, the barely audible 'click' sounding and shoved his hands into his pockets casually, at least he looked the part. When he saw her come down he smiled that famous crooked smile.
"You look lovely....though I think you should cover up a little bit, I don't want Emmett....or someone else getting any ideas with you." He cautioned, a smile still playing on his lips.
Before she had any time to react, Edward stood behind her and gently pushed her out the door. He closed it behind him, making sure that the lock was secure and led her to his parked Volvo outside. He had taken the time to grab the car and speed it down to her house. Not that he could tell by temperature, but he could at least tell that it was somewhat chilly outside. Edward frowned and pulled off his coat and draped it across her shoulders.
"Wouldn't want you getting a cold now would we?" He chuckled lightly.
He opened up the passenger door for Amanda and waited, still beaming.

When he spoke about Emmett she pulled her hair down but she was already getting pushed out the door. SHe luaghed.
She smiled and got in the car. It was chilly but DAMN..his jacket smelt good....wooooww..she almost got sidetracked for aminite...

Alice and Jasper were at the house by now. "They are coming here." she smiled, sitting on the couch. "Nothing bad is going to happen though, don't worry." she grinned, kissing Jasper's cheek.
