Roran grinned. It was a pity he couldn't get into the king's shadow without anyone noticing. It would show everyone just how easily Altarion could win the war at the moment. Shrugging, he shook his head. "We will get the aid. Even if I have to duel him for those men. I will do whatever it takes." Pulling the cloak forward more, he concealed what little of his sword's sheath showed, if it had at all. He knew his bow was hidden beyond even the sharpest eyes. They'd only have a chance of noticing if he bent over or layed down on his stomach. They could search him, of course, but he had excuses. Whatever it takes. He felt that he'd have to do something drastic, but he was prepared by now.

Aki dipped her head, slipping silently from the room and teleporting to where she remembered the camp being. She didn't make a sound, carefully looking around. This didn't look right... She breathed the spell again, taking herself to several other locations before finally finding the correct camp, one that hadn't been taken over.

Leena had to admit, it was a tempting thought to sneak up on him given what had happened at one past occurrence when they had done dealings with each other. You're Queen now though, you don't have that excuse of being some princess. She just grimaced, breaking into a gallop once she had heard him, she didn't want to comment further on the matter. Sebesen was only too eager to oblige, riding off towards the castle quickly, her eyes darting up towards where the guards were once they were close. Vadász screeched before diving down, landing on her shoulder when they were forced to pause. "The King is expecting us." She murmured, stroking the feathers gently while she saw the guard mumble something before letting them pass. Slowing down to a canter, she slid off of Sebesen's back, glancing to the sudden appearance of a cloaked figure to take their horses to the stable. Her spies were everywhere and nowhere at once, and always a couple near Mereth's Queen. Nodding to the figure, she then glanced back to Roran, starting in through the front door, not expecting an escort to come and greet them. "You ready?" She asked Roran in a whisper, golden eyes flashing as the morning light caught them through one of the large windows.

As the Queen of Mereth and the hunter came to the front doors, the light whinny of a horse was heard before the horse and it's rider actually were seen trotting up to the two travelers, arriving fro the gardens. The horse's rider bore a striking resemblance to Eve, except that she seemed very frail and timid. The woman just stared at the two for a moment, before dismounting the horse very gracefully and walking over to the queen and her companion, letting the horse go off by itself after whispering something in the beast's ear. "Good day to you, Lady Leena. And good day to you as well, Roran Floral of Moth. My father is very anxious to speak with you." She said once she reached them with a gentle smile and a light curtsy. "Father apologizes for his rudeness, but he is enjoying this weather so much at the moment, he requests that the both of you could meet with him in the gardens. If you would follow me, I will be happy to lead you there." The woman told them before heading off to the gardens.

Looking around, she slowed down when she saw a woman ride up, noticing the similarities to Eve. Relative perhaps? Sister? Ignoring such thoughts for now, she just nodded to her in respect, lowering her mask along with her hood, the sun glinting off of her eyes. Sister indeed. "Good day. No, it's quite alright. Thank you." She flicked her wrist beneath her hood which was still closed tight, changing her clothes changing into something more appropriate for the occasion. Leaning close to Roran, she was letting her white hair flow free, cloak also gone though her swords did remain. "No problem at all." She murmured while following after Eve's sister, ignoring any odd glances they received from the guards.

"I trust your journey was a safe one?" The woman murmured. They arrived in the gardens where the King was sitting at a bench, waiting patiently.

"Anira, have you brought our guests with you?" He asked in a very calm tone.

The woman hurried over and took his hand. "Yes father. Roran and Lady Leena are here for their audience with you." She said before letting go and standing at his side.

"Wonderful. Thank you for meeting with me out here. What seems to be the problem?" The king questioned with a kind smile, turning to the general direction of the two.

"Yes, it was." Leena answered softly, seeing the king stretched out on the bench, making her inwardly chuckle. One would never find her like that, ever. She just appeared calm, a warm smile upon her lips. She curtsied to him a little, not advancing any further so that there was a short distance between them. "It's no problem. We met up with your daughter while she was in Mereth, she should be on her way to Talagand right now. But our purpose here, Roran wished to speak with you about something." She gestured to him then, stepping aside so that he could take the floor, folding her hands as she looked between the two of them, just hoping there wouldn't be an explosion of anger otherwise she would probably lose her cool.

"Ah, my darling Eve. Oh how I wish that girl would come home." The king sighed, patting Anira's hand before turning his head to Roran. "Are they still standing there, Anira?" He asked, turning to his daughter.

"Yes father. Once moment." She murmured, before saying something else under her breath, making two big roots from the nearby trees rise up from the ground behind Leena and Roran, the roots combining to turn into a bench.

"Sorry we didn't offer you a seat earlier." He laughed lightly. "Well what can I do for you my good man?" The king asked with a smile as he turned to Roran once more.

As they got to the castle, Roran fell into step behind Leena, following her. When Eve's sister mentioned his name, he shot death glares at Leena. She told them who I was? I was hoping to save that for later. Coming up to the King, he let Leena speak before stepping forward, not taking a seat on the bench. "Sir, I come to ask for aid. Eve is getting ever closer to her goal, and without aid she will never defeat Altarion's armies." his eyes pierced the air as they focused on the king. He would get the aid. Easy or hard, he would get the aid.

Raising an eyebrow, the king turned to Anira, before turning back to Roran. "I already have given Evangeline aid as she has requested..." He murmured, not quite understanding the hunter.

"I think I know what is going on..." Anira interrupted, resting a hand on her father's shoulder comfortingly before continuing. "My apologies, but it seems Eve has tricked you. Since she was young, she has tried to keep others from an emotional distance, not wanting anyone to feel bad, or her own self to feel upset when she disappears. She does not wish to return home until Altarion is dead, because she does not want our father to suffer, since there is a chance she could just die again. It wasn't just Eve's decision, it was my sister's as well. She banished herself from Aduial, and only asked that when she sent a request, father fill that request. And she probably did not tell you that little fact for several reasons. I've watched Eve on her journeys, and I watched Vanlanthiriel on her journeys all the way up to her death. You look exactly like a man that used to travel with my twin. She trusted in him, and he stabbed her in the back. Vanlanthiriel is not a bad person and she will listen, but she is confused and trying to figure out how to adjust. I heard that little comment of yours, about my sister and Altarion being exactly the same. You may have grown up close to him, but you certainly do not know him like my sister does. Eve is helping a little bit with the transition of times, but screaming in her face and trying to make her angry is not the way. While my twin was always the more forceful one, she is usually a very gentle and understanding girl. And so is Eve. I've seen what you've been doing, and treating her like a helpless child, is most certainly not the way to gaining any sort of trust from Eve or Vanlanthiriel when she gets control." Anira said as she looked to Roran with her own cold eyes. "And we have our own way of gathering information, becoming angry with Lady Leena is not a smart move on your part." She sighed, now walking over to the pond located right next to them. "I can show you Eve right now, if you are concerned. But I checked up on her earlier, and with your behavior and what has happened, I can only guess as to your reaction to what you are about to see." She murmured. The princess knelt down next to the water and murmured a spell. Immediately the water began to change until it revealed the princess everyone seemed so concerned about.

"She was researching in the library of Talagand, and Altarion's forces blew it up. Her armor was blown off in the explosion. Cori is most likely nearby, as this happened just moments ago, and Tuin is also not far behind either. But all of Talagand is destroyed, and Eve is unconscious. However, I trust in her. She has a stronger will to survive than anyone else I know. She knows what needs to be done. But just dumping everything on her...that's what killed Vanlanthiriel the first time. And if you want to lecture me and get angry, go ahead, I can sit here all day. But if you want to put your actions and words to use and actually help my sister, then save the lectures for her, and go now. But try listening for once. You have a very short temper. And please, save your Altarion horror stories, we all have them. Our family is more connected in this war than anyone else. There are members of our family on both sides. It's an honor and a disgrace. And I'm sure you've met them before, without ever realizing. However, now is not the time to be discussing all of these matters. We will send help when Eve, or Vanlanthiriel request it, and they will. They aren't so stupid to go against Altarion's armies alone." Anira said. Looking at the pool, again, she smiled. "Good, she's waking up." She sighed happily before dispelling the image. "Is there anything else you need?" The princess asked, looking to Roran and Leena as she slowly rose back to her feet.

"Owwww...Damn that hurt. Okay, so, hair is down, not cool. Um, what else, armor gone? That sucks. Okay, well, time to fight." Eve murmured, jumping up to her feet as she began to fistfight with Altarion's men, who had just picked their way through the rubble to her.

((I know I didn't make the explosion known earlier Thy! Just roll with it!))

Leena had caught the glance, grimacing as she narrowed her eyes as if to tell him she hadn't done it. He should know that every kingdom has their own series of networks. She rested her eyes on Anira, tilting her head a little as she listened silently to the entire exchange, looking then to Roran. She had heard some reports of such, she did try to tell him as did everyone else. At least now he had face to face proof and fact that wasn't just from there. She was indulging him by doing this for him. The wind had stirred just a little, her eyes flashing as Anira finished, though they were resting completely on Roran. They briefly held their own inner fire before fading to their normal golden color, the air seeming still again.

Raising an eyebrow, she stiffened, growling as she was proven right when something felt off. "Átok ez minden." She hated being right. She had to force herself to remain sitting, letting Anira speak to him, she already knew that their family was on both sides. Only when the image was dispelled did she rise to her feet. "I have no further words, thank you for your time. Roran?" She said with a calm expression, looking then to Vadász, whispering something to him before he rose into the air and flew off, going to carry out the mission she had assigned to him. Then she let her gaze rest on Roran, tilting her head just a little.

((lol, it's fine))

Cori shook her head to clear it, already setting an arrow to her bow. The edge of the explosion had caught her, pushing her back a step and singing her cloak and clothes. She blinked, trying to get her vision to clear before finally focusing on Altarion's men. She paused a second, forcing herself to calm down and focus before she began firing into the back of the group, shooting arrow after arrow with deadly accuracy. So long as she didn't run out of arrows, she could get several off in just seconds. A sword wasn't very useful in her hands, but a bow...

Roran stayed calm. Very calm. So calm, he shocked himself. When he saw Eve's situation, he got even calmer, smirking even. He let her talk. He let her say what she felt she needed to say. He also took note of Leena shuffling. The wind was a soft, gentle push, his hair and cloak the only things affected. When she finished, he brought his left hand up and rubbed his nose. When it lowered, it was like a barrier cutting the wind off.

Without looking to Leena, he brought up a hand and had it's palm face her. "Sit down milady. We're not done here." His gaze, unwavering, was a laser beam on Anira. "So, I see you elves have some magic of your own." He smirked again. "A little mingling with the people of Mereth I see. That's fine. I have no right to be offended by such things, as I'm sure you know already." The nod he gave at the end there was almost a positive gesture. It wasn't meant to be.

He hadn't moved an inch since he first spoke. He finally blinked for longer than a short moment, taking a deep breath. He then shifted his body to the left. He began pacing. "Let me get this straight." He was done being formal with the highly rude princess. "You honestly believe that Eve should be allowed to go off on her own to do everything. You honestly believe that your sister can be trusted to do what needs to be done, rather than what's best for the world? You believe that, when the time to call for help comes, your sister's pride won't get in the way?" He turned his head to look at the elf again. He was still calm. The elf wanted him angry, he could see it in her eyes and he heard it in her voice. He wasn't giving in.

"Also, you said your twin died. Later you said that they aren't stupid to go against Altarion alone. Not only do those two contradict each other, but she wouldn't have died if she hadn't gone in alone. We're lucky you're not the one who needs to take down Altarion." His gaze fell on the blind king now, and Roran laughed. "You fools. You say that my tellings are 'Altarion horror stories,' and that they aren't needed and I should spare you them. If I had any trace of affection for you right now I'd tell you the worst of them." His gaze remained on the king, he didn't care what Anira's reactions were. "You don't understand the kind of training Eve will need. The training Eve needs now. Your pig headedness will be your demise. The fact that you think you know everything about this war has blinded you to the truth." He finally looked to Anira again, staring right into her eyes. "What makes me feel ashamed the most is knowing I'm going to die to protect the likes of you, and then fail."

He turned on his heels, walking past Leena without even a glance. He said nothing to her either. He just pushed the door open, and then paused. "Milord," he spoke softly, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear. "Eve needs every man she can get, whether she needs them this instant, or in a few days, or months, or years. She'll need everyone. Waiting for her to send word asking for it will make things too late. Things will be beyond late. I walked in here telling myself I'd do whatever it takes to get her that aid. If your daughter's mentality is the mentality of you and your people, though, I will watch with pain in my heart as Altarion kills every one of you, all because your egos are swelled beyond repair."

He walked out without a glance back to see if Leena was following. His hands weren't clenched, and he was proud of himself for not losing his temper, and yet he felt despair. All I can do is pray that things turn out for the best. Who am I kidding? If they all think like Eve's sister, the world is doomed! He reached the stables quickly. The anger he had bottled up gave him energy and so he was able to unconciously walk faster. When he got to his horse and took the reigns in hand, he stopped. Letting the riegns go, he didn't take the horse. Instead he went on foot into the town. Why waste a good horse of Lady Leena's if I'm apparently not wanted? I might as well go off into the towns and gather as much people who are willing to aid their princess as possible. He knew what had to be done to get Eve ready, and he knew he could get it done. But after what had just happened, he was in no mood to deal with elvish royalty. Especially the rude ones.

Leena raised an eyebrow when he told her to sit, a finger twitching as he called her milady. This was about to get....interesting. She had no other word to describe it really, at least that she could think of at that moment. She was proud, grateful, and relieved of the fact that he did not lose his temper at all. Now it was her doing her best not to say a word to stop him. No, best to let him speak. Though, the insult to the king made her finger twitch again, having to put out the small flame that was hovering over her fingertips. Straightening a little, she flicked her wrist, her clothes reverting back to her normal traveling gear, her cloak landing softly around her shoulders.

When he turned on his heels, she knew it was time to go, his body language and his words were enough to let her know even before that. Turning to the princess and her father, she sighed once he had gone, starting to move to follow after him. "Forgive his rudeness, but I wouldn't quite forget his words, they may end up true. Thank you for your time, you know how you may find me." She flashed them a smile, pulling her cowl up, passing through the doorway, breaking into a run once she was out of sight, heading immediately to the stables. She swung up onto Sebesen, taking Gyors' reins as well. "Kövessen engem." She told the stallion softly, galloping into town after him.

"Segítsen nekem talál neki." She held a bird cupped in her hands, letting it fly, moving at a fast canter now. That meeting had not gone well, and she could only imagine his mood. She had warned him not to go in expecting to get Eve troops, but he hadn't listened to her. Her golden eyes scanned the streets as she passed by them, she knew he couldn't have gotten far..... There. Sliding off of Sebesen, she moved without a sound up to him, touching his shoulder. "Roran?" She murmured, lowering her hood, a breeze blowing her hair. Now was not the time to say I told you so. "You aren't alone in this, I'll stay with you. Though only if you would have me. Shall we?" She had let her hand fall away from him, giving him a small, warm smile. Their horses came up beside them, Gyors nudging Rorans left hand.

Anira remained just a calm as Roran bombed down on her this time. Then, laughing bitterly, she shook her head, now making her voice heard in Roran and Leena's minds. "I never said Valanthiriel traveled alone the first time. She was with others. Others that were killed in battles along the way. And in the last battle, she was dealt a fatal wound by the one she trusted the most. A hunter who looked exactly like yourself. And unfortunately for her and the world, she would have defeated Altarion had she not been injured so badly earlier. If you want Valanthiriel to listen to you and not try to kill you next time she is allowed control, you should call her by real her name. And my father and I are not as pigheaded as you think. If you really think that our soldiers be dispatched now, instead of us waiting for instructions from Eve, than we shall do so. Next time though, leave my father out of your insults. Everything I have said, I said on my own, based on my own observations through everything. Go to the military base, at the edge of the city. The general will be awaiting you." She told them, before breaking connection. "He is too much like that man father...I don't trust him..." She murmured as she helped her father up.

"You cannot put all the blame on him, even if he is like that man. I only hope he realizes what he is doing to Valanthiriel every time he tries to enrage her. Still, I trust she'll calm down soon enough. You should not have tried to provoke that man, my daughter." King Lostariel sighed as he began to walk off through the gardens. "We should meet them at the base." He decided suddenly, now walking off towards the base.

"I think I'll say. He tends to get weirder when I am around. And I think I'm starting to catch a cold again..." Anira sighed, heading back to the castle to rest.
