"Valencia, Auron...have you heard from your other friends...will they be coming?" She emerged from her tent, swaying gracefully as she went towards the group. "All the help we can get for this...the battle...will be something large indeed..."
"I tried them, whether they show up tonight or not is their choice, can't force'em," Valencia said, scratching the back of her head. Her lantern archon sidled up to the Vashra, who pet it on the head. "I know you have your own protections up here but would you let me put up a spell or two?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"If I put up my own Alarm spell, we'd have extra warning...I have some buffs to pass around to anyone who'd want'em. They last 24 hours, so getting a few on them now couldn't hurt," she said.
"Vashra, been meaning to ask, where's Tobias?" Auron inquired, breaking away from his wife to stand by Valencia.
"He is with a few guards at the ritual site," she explained. "They are holding the place for us there."
"Ah, I see. Was wondering why Chris's 'special someone' wasn't under the father's scrutiny yet," he said with a laugh.
"He doesn't have as much of a stomach for beings we typically consider evil as I do," the Vashra agreed. "And that is all I wished to know. I do believe that the two with you were what...fighter and dancer in the shadows?"
"Yes, those two," Valencia rolled her eyes. "Don't know why we travel with them...or that drow sometimes. But meh, can't complain when they're keeping me alive."
"You're good friends," the Vashra said. "I can tell." And she disappeared into the tent once more.

The hand of god, known as a mun, was just about ready to chuck Don and Chris back at the Rhennee camp. It'd make for an interesting conversation afterward.
"How'd we get here?"
"Hand of god."
"Moving on?"
"Sure."
