The female takes the helmet into her hands, setting it on her head. It was slightly heavier than she had thought it to be, but she clambered onto the back of the bike. Hesitently, she wrapped her arms around Jack's torso. "Okay, I'm ready to go!" she said, the artificial adrenalin building.

Emily Kane-Living Doll

Emily was sitting on back, behind Kendal. She wrapped her arms around Kendal's waist, not wanting to die. "I'm ready," She said, answering Kendal's last question. A smile spread across Em's face, she was also excited.

Freya

The cab driver pulls in front of the hotel and assists Freya in unloading the boxes onto the sidewalk. Freya dismisses him with a generous tip and begins hauling the packages into the hotel, hoping there is something like a bellhop to assist her.

I head into the hallway from my room, waiting till I hear the click of the door locking behind me before I release the handle. I usually don't wake up this early, early of course reserved for when the sun is still out. I'm not sure if it is the strange way that the daylight never gets any brighter than early evening, or if it's simply jet lag from being new to this planet and their timezone. Either way, I was up now. And I need a smoke.

I pass through the hallway quietly, not sure even if there was anyone to disturb. This place could have been featured on Haunted Hotels Monthly. Centerfold. I slip my shades on right before I head outside, then move out onto the steps. In my absolute and unfaltering grace, I just about plow into the young lady with her arms full, who is coming up the steps from the street. Great, just great.

"Sorry Ma'am." I tell her as I lean down to pick up one of the packages. "I didn't see you coming." I look down at the parcel now under my arm, then to her, then to the pile of things on the sidewalk. "You uh.. need some help with all this?" I ask slightly awkwardly.

Freya
"D'oh!" she exclaims as she drops on of her parcels. Her temper kicks in and she ignores the apology, she looks at his chest and then up to meet his eyes as she says, "Hey pal, watch where go-ga-goddamn you're a tall fella!" Her eyes open wide, and she feels heat rush into her cheeks in spite of herself. She shakes her head and clears her throat, collecting herself.

"Yea, well...sure I could use some help. I don't normally accept this kind of assistance, but you owe me buddy." She says with a smirk, then almost immediately she feels that silly teenage girl come back into her mouth, "If it's not too much trouble."

I do not respond to her sarcasm, nor her impertinent attitude. Instead I collect the majority of the remaining parcels and head back inside without a word. I wait for her once there seeing as I have no idea which room is hers.

Freya
Freya watches him walk into the lobby with most of her packages and feels a slight tinge of anger. She wasn't used to her attitude getting dismissed like this, but then again she wasn't about to let him know that.

She picks up the remaining parcels and follows him in, "I'm in the last room on the left of this hallway." She starts walking down the right hallway. When they arrive at the door she places her parcels to the left of the door and unlocks, opens, and slides the door stop into it. She turns and says to the man, "You can just leave them by the door if you're busy, I can get them in on my own from here."

I follow her down the hallway without making any eye contact or indication that I've even noticed her presence. With no small amount of skill, I manage to settle the packages into two stacks on the hallways floor; one stack for each arm. I make sure none of the packages were squished or damaged along the way, still totally ignoring the woman. When I am sure they are fine, I dust my hands against my coat and turn to stride leisurely away, with no acknowledgment that the woman is even alive.

Freya
Freya's shoulders tense and she balls up her fists. If her ears were in the open they'd be laid back in a threatening manner. Never in her life has she been completely ignored. She punches into a box marked "Okami's stuff" and pulls out a rawhide bone that looks like it would be made for a grizzly bear. She bares her teeth, showing off her considerable canines, and throws the bone right at the back of the man's head with every bit of her kunoichi skill.

The tart way the girl had pursed her lips when I didn't react to her negatively the first time pretty much led me to believe that if I ignored her, it would irritate her more than if I return the attitude. Because of this, I was fully expecting some sort of retaliation from the little minx. I had assumed she would either run her mouth off again, or throw a box at me. Women tend to throw things towards the head. However, for all of this artful deduction, I had not anticipated that the woman would be able to hawk something that quickly. In the end, it is my demonic lineage that kicks in and saves me the embarrassment of being pegged on the back of the head. The quick movement caught my attention, and I quickly duck down to narrowly avoid the missile.

Making as if I had only looked down to pull something out from my pocket, I make sure my expression is nonchalant as I briefly glance first to where the bone clanks harmlessly against the wall, then my eyes shift back towards my attacker. I smirk faintly to myself, tipping my hat to the girl.

"Evening Ma'am" I bid her, my voice laced with the smugness of watching another person make an utter fool of themselves. And with that, I disappear into the foyer.

Freya
Now Freya could feel a different kind of heat rush into her face. As the man walks back into the foyer she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small black notebook labeled "When I have time to kill" with a little winking smiley face under the text. She flips to the last entry and puts "Smug douche-bag with the crappy hat" right under "The entire Lohan family."

She snaps the notebook shut with a flick of her wrist and places it back into her pocket. She walks over to, and picks up the rawhide bone. She returns to her packages and slides it back into the box through the hole she punched in it. She then goes about taking the packages into her room.

After getting all of her tools and clothing laid out and put away, she starts running some water in the shower to warm up while she gets ready. She removes her clothes and hiding apparatuses. The last thing she removes is the black choker around her neck. She looks at the tattoo around her neck in a mirror and places her hands gingerly against it. She can almost feel the malevolent force it was holding back in her finger tips. Her ears begin to sink as she thinks about the events leading up to her getting the seal. She steps into the shower and changes focus onto the task at hand. She was hear to save her, or avenge her...one or the other, or hell maybe both if she has the time.

She turns the water off and instinctively shakes her body to get the water off. She freezes for a moment and huffs in frustration. She snatches a towel off the rack and goes through the pain staking rhetoric of drying off her hair and tail.

A few hours later she slides her tail and ears back into their "costumes." She dresses in a pair of baggy black jeans and a black baby doll T-shirt with a blue crescent moon logo on it. She then picks out a leather jacket that is tight to her arms, but has a three clips for kunai knives in the back facing her body. She slides the kunai into the slots and clips them into place before putting it on. She then picks out a pair of gloves that don't have the ends of the fingers on them. Picking out a pair of comfortable shoes was easy for her, since she only has two pairs. She picks the set of black tennis shoes with the better traction and then places a spiked collar around her neck where the tattoo is.

She strides out of the hotel and looks up at the sky. She was surprised to see that it was already early evening. She looked down at her watch and sighed. She hailed a cab and asked to be taken to The Muse.

When they arrive she pays the driver and steps out of the cab taking in the site of the club. She steps through the grand archway and winces slightly at the sensory overload. The music, the glow of the monitors, and smells were enough to drive her senses mad. She focused and begrudgingly suppressed her senses. She needed information from this place, but first she needed a drink. She rounded the stairs that surrounded the dance floor and sighed with relief as the music toned down when she reached the top of the stairs. She spots an open table and slides into one of the seats surrounding it. She scans her environment, making note of the one door that was decorated differently than the others. She glanced at the statue to the left of the door and felt the fur on her tail press against it's sleeve.

She followed slowly, frowning at the rubble: it was a bit harder for her to get across it then it was for him, but no matter, she made it through, and looked around suspiciously. So far they weren't caught!
She shifted the orb carefully to one hand, and nodded, knocking on the door just as he asked. She bent towards it and put her ear close while her hands rapped quietly...1...2...3. She paused, breath held tight, and...1...2. She stood up with a grin on her face and looked back towards him.

The Reverend Maynard

"My dear Miz Francesca, a request from you is like the summons from a god. Of course I attended to it quickly. But as to your query, well: There is no shortage of evil little circuses wandering about, especially on more... hrmm... primitive planets. As to events such as that here? Well, I have heard from several little birds that a large plot of land in the seedy part of town has been claimed, though I've not looked at it myself. A favour to you I'd be willing to do, if you're curious of having it checked out."

{ - Francesca - }

"Would you darling?" Franky replies with a smile, "I would appreciate it very much. A few sources seems to believe that this circus could actually prove to be a danger to my people here at the club." Leaning back into the cushions, she traces her gaze briefly at the inhabitants around them. "You know how protective I am of my people. If there is a chance that this traveling group would pose some sort of threat, I need to know."
