Iriai watched as Logan entered the room and confirmed what she had been telling them.
"Well Logan it is good to see you again, I do say you appear to need a long nap. All is fine a little irritation but I guess its supected in these times. I must say though I would hope that you'ld have told them I was coming but now that everything is settled let us begin. I would just like to know what the plans are for right now. I can't be of any help till I know after all."
Iriai stepped towards Logan and further into the room treating anyone else as if they werent there.

Alice welcomed the hug, Jess felt like a long lost big sister. But what she had said stuck in Alice's mind. She wanted to believe that Logan had everything under control, and that he would be alright. But how could she? If Logan knew how to deal with Alec so well, then why were they even in this situation. She sighed heavily. Now is not the time to be stubborn.. She scolded herself. She shifted and felt something sharp in her leg, followed by the feeling of something warm and wet trailing down her bare skin. "s**t." Alice said as she sat up. Her dagger wasn't secured all the way in her holster and was not sticking out of her leg. Jess looked alarmed. "It's ok." She said, trying to keep the pain from her voice. The dagger was buried about 1/3 in. Alice reached down and yanked it out, spraying blood across the cement. She bit her lip to keep from yelping. Blood pulsed from the gash, forming a small pool. But Alice could already feel the familiar burning sensation she got when she healed.

Jess stared blankly up at the sky, soaking everything in again and trying to get used to things...for now at least. She heard Alice sigh, "I was just about to do the same thing, kid.." Then, Alice said something unexpected, "s**t!" and quickly sat up. Jess sat up slowly, already knowing what had happened. Jess smelled blood, it was coming quickly. Jess's eyes dialated slightly, but she managed to push her insticts off once again. "It's ok." Alice said, trying to keep the pain from her voice. Jess' eyes widened, remembering the hungry vampire that was downstairs.
"Alice..you have to clean that up quickly and as quietly as you can. We have a very weak, very hungry vampire downstairs..and she won't think twice about coming after you. She doesn't know that we found you, yet." Jess looked around the roof, frantically. Not knowing what to expect, vampires these days, unless you were rich, came after whatever they could get. However, she didn't see or sense anybody close by. Jess pulled out a hanky that she had shoved in her pocket before and mopped up the blood. "Please be more careful, Alice. Remember..we're gonna need you alive." She said, with a wink.

When Logan came down after talking to Alec, Syvra didn't know what to do. She'd meant to tell him everything, but right then had not been the best time. But when Logan had said that Alec wanted him for Jasper, she'd given him a quick, questioning look. She knew that wasn't the deal, but rather than give it away to everybody, she busied herself with something else. She decided to confront him later.

((Ah come on...gimme something to do >>))
Jo whistled a low tune as he exited the elevator and down the narrow corridor to his apartment. After making the usual runaround the city just to throw any of Alec's spies off his scent, he'd decided to cool off the rest of the day in the pool, also another ploy to wash off the mixture of scents on his person and mask his with the conglomeration of human effluvia that ran into public swimming pools. A movie later, he thought it safe enough to return home.
He opened his pressure/time sensitive lock, installed by yours truly after the boss's third break in, and reset his alarm, depositing the medium pizza he carried unto the coffee table. Staring at the flat box brought another ironic smile to his lips and he shook his head. His last message from the boss had warned him to disappear...and disappear he was going to do. A ten minute consultation with his laptop yielded fruitful results; a one way ticket down south and the promise of a healthy tan in the future. It would take him less than an hour to pack and prepare but there were other things to settle.

Alice nodded and took the hankie but she wasn't healing fast enough. The blood was coming too quickly. The hanky was soon full of blood and no longer useful. "Um...sorry..." Alice mumbled as she held up the dripping cloth. Some of the blood had clotted but there was still a steady flow. "Jess is there any gauze downstairs?" She asked, hoping hat she wouldn't have to deal with a hungry vampire at the moment. The blood was begining to seep into her shoe. "Ew..soggy socks." Alice said as she attempting to divert the blood from her sock.

The moon had barely moved across the sky when Alec reached the apartment. He had wanted to come here for some time, but recent events had kept him busy. With the understanding of Logan’s note and the Cure so close now seemed an appropriate time to get things done. He wouldn’t likely have a chance after the forthcoming events. Alec climbed the apartment’s stairs to the fifth and final floor. The old stairs creaked in protest to even the slightest weight on them. He glided up them quickly, not touching the dirty railings. It was obvious that this apartment building had been abandoned a long time ago, but that only made things easier for Alec. He walked silently over to the second door on the left, trying the knob to see if it was unlocked. As he expect it was not, but a swift kick pushed it free from the frame and it swung open obediently. Alec smoothed out his long black coat and walked inside. The first thing he noticed was that everything was covered in dust, but besides that, everything had been left untouched. No one else dared enter his brother’s old home. Alec strode over to a table where a book was resting. He had left it there during his last visit many years ago. After fighting with his brother and chasing him away, Alec had gone through every book in the house. This was the only one that seemed remotely interesting, but even it revealed no secrets. Alec had left it behind in frustration. But now this book deserved a little of his attention. Alec wanted to check it again with the new information he had, perhaps see how close to the answer he had always been. Alec pushed open the book and ruffled through the pages. The first few chapters talked about the legend of the Moon and Shadow and their Diseases. He skipped that, knowing enough already. It was in the very last chapter that he found what he wanted. To kill the Cure is to erase all hope. There will never be another. The knights must keep away those who wish to remain Diseased and Tainted by Shadow and Moon. When the time comes, the knights themselves will perform the Ritual and we will all be saved. We will not let the last Cure slip away from us as the first did. His disappearance has condemned us all these years. Oh, the selfishness of young men! Alec laughed and set down Logan’s note above the pages. He knew it by heart already, but he read it again. You were right Logan. I wish it weren’t true, but you were right. I looked through all the old books and they all say the same thing. There is no record of the original Cure ever being killed. He only disappeared. Logan, you Alec was really laughing now. He couldn’t stop himself. It had all been a dirty trick from the very beginning. The knights had fooled everyone, even most of their own kind, into believing that the Cure must be saved. Only Logan had figured out that the original Cure had never died, but instead was kept alive by the Diseased Shadow. Only he had figured out that to be Cured the Cure must die. Oh yes, it was quite humorous indeed.

Alec had been gone quite a while now, a few hours at least, and Ebony was still monitoring the situation of the upper levels. Sighing Ebony ran a hand through the disorderly black curls of her hair and pondered Jasper's situation down stairs. It was far too early to be visiting him yet, the effects of the torture would not have come to full fruition. Stifling a yawn Ebony continued the slow meandering walk down the long corridor. All the other Rogue's must have gone to get some rest. Ebony shrugged, really most of them didn't need much rest, vampire's and lycan's possessed an endurance that could keep them up for days even after a wearing fight. The only thing to be heard as she walked down the corridor were her own soft foot falls on the red carpet and the only smells were of wood varnish and cleaning products. After Ebony had dismissed the attendants she hadn't seen another being, and the desolate halls were empty of any sign of life, they were illuminated by only the soft glows of the lamps. Ebony shrugged, no matter, this only made her job easier and the time alone was refreshing and welcome.
((Sorry for the pointless post, but I haven't posted in a while, and I want to assure you I'm still alive. lulz ;D ))

Felicia slowly walked down the street with the moonlight bouncing off of her skin in a pale glow. She had left the ware house after waiting around to see if anyone would magically appear. Apparently it was not meant to be, so she was roaming the streets once more. Felicia came to a stop and closed her eyes, tilting her head back and letting the moonlight hit her face as she let out a quiet hiss, which revealed her sharp fangs. Her grey eyes opened halfway, glazed and dialated as she relished in the very faint scent of blood. How she did love being a vampire oh-so-much, if only people didn't have to be hurt. Usually she raided hospitals and blood banks, but right now that would not satisfy her vicious hunger. Felicia needed blood, fresh blood from a living being. Her thirst was so strong that her senses had strengthened considerably, her horribly wounded body begging to be fed.
A small part of her brain, the sensible part that kept her out of trouble, tried feebly to fight her instincts to hunt and feed. But the animalistic feeling that came with her hunger was like an addicting drug that drowned out everything else. It was intoxicating, and she loved it. Felicia slowly raised her head so that she was facing forward again, her eyes practically glowing through her black bangs as she turned her head to look down the alley. A sadistic, crazed grin spread across her face, revealing in plain view her deadly fangs. The hunt was on. Felicia turned and took off like an arrow, her eyes dialated, her nose twitching slightly at all the smells around her, her ears super sensitive to any sort of cry in the night that would say to her 'eat me'. It was a long ways off, but Felicia could smell blood and alot of it. The urge to feed made the pain seem to dissappear as she pushed herself harder. Somewhere, up higher, maybe on a building, was a delicious snack waiting for her. Felicia licked her lips manically, practically drooling on herself as she shot through streets and through one or two abandoned buildings. She was so close now!

'Yum human blood, I wonder where there keeping the cattle. Then again its probably live...........yup alive. I wonder if they'ld mind me having alittle. No I don't need to start a war with these people. I need the cure for her.'
Ignoring the scent of frech blood Iriai's stomach gave off a small growl that she ignored completely.

Jess stared at Alice's leg, not knowing what to think. Her thirst was growing but she shook it off, her brain could over-power her thirst any day...ever since the day that she bit Rose. The hanky was quickly filling up with blood, now it was soaked and no longer useful. Jess heard Alice mumble an apology. "Alice..dont' be sorry..it's not your fault...don't worry about it." Alice looked at Jess carefully, "Jess is there any gauze downstairs?...Ew..soggy socks." Jess looked at Alice's leg again.
"Alice..yes there's gauze downstairs. However, I don't trust that girl down there....here." Jess said and grabbed the dagger that hadn't stabbed Alice and cut off the bottom of her shirt. She then blew on Alice's wound and wrapped the clothe around her leg. "That should stop it for now." Jess' stomach then lurched and the room began to spin, then all Jess saw was black.

Alice's eye grew wide as Jess fell before her. She reached out quickly catching her head before it hit the ground. "s**t!" She exclaimed, as she tried to lift her. No avail. Grabbing her dagger and putting the blade gingerly in her mouth she lifted Jess. She didn't weigh much, but the strain on Alice's leg was making carrying her difficult. Alice swung Jess across her small shoulders holding on to her with on hand. It was times like these she wished she had inhuman strength...and was taller. She walked over to the edge of the building and prepared to climb down the fire escape. Come on Alice...it's not THAT far down... She lied to herself. If she fell off the fire escape it wouldn't be good. Slowly she eased herself down, her strength was fading, and her small frame was having a hard time supporting Jess. Blood still oozed from her wound, making smears on the ladder. Alice's hand slipped on a bloody puddle on the stairs. She bit down on the dagger, feeling it dig into the sides of her mouth a little. Blood trickled down the side of her mouth. Great...just great.. Alice finally reached the bottom, feeling drained and light headed. She had lost quite a bit of blood. She walked into the basement to see everyone staring wide eyed. "What happened!?" Logan asked. Alice gave him the "I-can't-talk-dumbass-I-have-a-blade-in-my-mouth" look.
