♠ "......."
Light thought over Takehitsu's words carefully. Aside from David, Light probably knew Inferno the least amount of time from any of his other comrades yet somehow he and Inferno had grown an odd friendship over the years. From enemies to rivals to comrades to enemies again. Light was there when Inferno made his last stand against the Vaste Lorde so he felt somewhat responsible. The half-angel felt he was one of the few who could get into Inferno's face without getting burned. Unfortunately their abilities were far too similar for either one of them to have a definite advantage over the other. Even if Light did manage to turn Inferno he'd be too beat up to save himself!
"Very well. I think it would be wise to switch opponents. If Halibel comes after you I'll take care of her. I'll be honest...I'd rather face Inferno but I see your point." He propped his thumb up and nodded. ♠

"Also one other thing the last time the two of us fought was the first time either of us had not ended in victory. Instead both of us ended up unable to move. With the inability to move we both where classified as a tie but since most of my moves where unseen he was considered the victor as it was a tournament. Neither of us consider it a win. Since then I have only had two more ties and zero defeats. So we may tie again. If so feel free to jump in at that point you could save him anyway as both of us would be spent. If Halibel does not show then I will drink a few vials of what you just had and go chase her down. The two of us have unfinished business."
With that takehitsu began walking in the direction that Light had indicated his cloak would be in. He wanted it back. It was a vital part of his fighting techniques as well as a harness upon his true fighting abilities.

♠ "Hmm. That's essentially what happens with Inferno and myself. No real victor...just a scarred battlefield." He laughed a little and tagged along with Takehitsu. Not only was the Dark Elf ahead but so was Seijuro.
"When we finish our business I may need to use that training room in your Tower. You're welcome to join me too." ♠

Takehitsu listened as they headed toward a building.(I don't know where they are lol)
"Sounds familiar but from the visuals I saw you fight him differently you hit raw power with raw power. He knows to avoid my close fighting antics as I was the first to break some of his attacks and on top of that on the first move I injured him. In truth I don't use direct power. Just precise critical attacks. We balance eachother and always have."
OOC: Your gonna have to lead cause I have no idea where they are.

♠ (( Well...I don't want to rush to them because they aren't on xD ))
Taking a right, Light moved towards an alleyway that would lead around one of the larger buildings on that block. It probably would have been faster to go roof hopping but he didn't want to attract unnecessary attention. The alleyways would eventually connect to another street after the two had weaved around the other buildings.
"Hmm. Instead of balancing, Inferno and I build off of each others' strengths. Fire and light are too closely related for me to use my normal tactics. I tend to start off with average or weak attacks to eventually move my opponent into an overwhelming position. If I can I observe how they react to my attacks as well as how they act on their own. If I can see a weakness I'll attempt to make them expose it. We're similar in a way. I rely more on my brain than just....smashing through things.
Though with Inferno, I can harness the thermal energy he produces. It's easy for me to make stronger attacks of my own or nullify some of his. Also I can utilize my weapon and preserve my energy." Although Light spoke of his weapon he wasn't actually equipped with it right now. It was still out in the fields somewhere. If he needed to he could acquire it easily. Right now he didn't want to move around town with a large weapon if he didn't have to.
"I've gotta tell you, though. I wasn't expecting him to have gained a speed boost. Instant Lava prisons, a powerful Cero, Chaos and Hell's fire....I had no choice but to fight fire with fire...so to speak." ♠

Takehitsu followed but almost broke out laughing, "If you can't fight with high level of brain input then one cannot survive the first or second attack in a fight against Inferno." He said thinking for a moment. Halibel was actually similar to Takehitsu even though he still had barely gotten started in fighting her. She needed to have a reason to fight him he guessed. Well he was about to give her one. She was of the element sacrifice even though he doesn't know that. Thus by wreaking havoc in Hueco Mundo the element of death would be magnanimous plus the amount of fighting would also be great. Thus she would have plenty reason to fight him. Hopefully his plan worked though. He had programmed four of his most elite fighting robots to find and attack her. Ultimately they would not win but they could tide her over untill Inferno was dealt with. Also then Takehitsu would have drunk his blue energy drink. Then his fight with her will begin. He truthfully wanted Light to concentrate on some of the other more offensive and dangerous Vaste Lords that would cause him problems. He had learned by the numbers there where ten. Obviously this would be bad because at the moment he knew they had two possibly three or four. His robots could not handle that many. If a few where eradicated by the blast that would help... but they would likely survive being too strong for that to kill them. All of them would be infuriated with the blast though.

The body continued to float as it had. He had been pushed out of the way for too long... Way too long. He didn't know it because there wasn't a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff where he was, but the lands knew too little... Suddenly a blue box of bubbles formed about the creature relaxing in his infinite frozen state.
Winds coursed over him. He had his hands behind his head, legs crossed, laying outwards... Opening his eyes, he noticed that there was something! The sensation was wonderful! Actual air about him, allowing his existance to be known by something other than the emptiness that surrounded him. He turned and smirked, spiraling himself downwards...
A small town! With a cute little castle?! thought the falling one, I haven't witnessed one of those! He'd continue his spiral towards the ground... Eventually reaching a point where he felt it'd be not as fun to splat on the solid looking ground beneath him. He turned horizontal again, and fire spurted out of his back forming a pair of giant burning wings, which he used to glide around the city. A few little screams came from below him as a couple of people witnessed the giant burning appendages, that flapped every now and then to maintain control of his course. He'd eventually find a nice spot to land... Of course it may not be so nice for the people around him.
Down from the sky he fell... Giving off the appearance of a falling star to those below him now. He had created himself a break-fall shell of light to be sure that he didn't take too much damage upon impact. When he landed only a tiny crater was formed, mostly from the cracking and unfolding of the egg of light. People were staring all around him, slowly gathering forwards. Whispers spread about the people forming an intricate net of rumors and lies about the actual events that may or may not reach higher up ears. Either way he was probably going to be a topic of discussion for the next day or two.
His landing had him crouched, arms crossed over his chest touching opposite shoulders, his knees resting on the ground spread apart, and the balls of his feet propping him up. Below him was a small bubble of light that he kept himself off the ground, and solid light around him from the broken shell slowly steamed off the ground. He'd rise up letting his arms down, straightening his legs out. He'd open his mouth, moving it about as if saying words, but no one heard anything that he was saying... of course he was just pinging languages that he had contained in him to be sure he got it correct...
A couple seconds after opening his mouth, a screech echoed out through most of the city, followed by his voice, both deep and higher pitched seeming at the same time, soon merging into a calm slightly deep, relaxing tone asking the phrase, "Which language?" in most of the ones he knew. He eventually started getting it closer to right... "Cual lengua? Welche Spreche? Which Language?" The people started calling out the name of the language. (Don't know what to use for its name here)
"Dis spreche, oder das spreche? This language or that language?" They'd start calling out again the answers. He'd smile, and then look around. He'd raise his hands infront of his mouth, finger tips just below his nose, fingers curled. He'd pull them away, and a fragment of light sat between his teeth, extending outwards like a cigarette... He'd exhale and form a spritzing of light as if he were smoking. Now what? thought the peculiar one. Many of what he didn't know to be the city guards were approaching him. (Yay NPC's) Naturally, as he had known to be a common greeting from when he was in normal existance before, he crossed his arms over infront of him, pressing the back of his hands against each other, cracking all of his fingers at once.

(( Rorek: You are? I thought you were inside a building or something since you and Seijuro were drinking sake 'n stuff. -wasn't paying attention- ))
"Heh....indeed."
The two were about to make a straight line towards a section of the city walls until an odd happening occurred. A brighter light flickered off nearby as it descended down towards the city. People started screaming and making another fuss over the event while others lingered to see if whatever had fallen was of any threat or not. Guards rushed down the streets to take care of the situation as Light and Takehitsu were nearing the walls.
"Someone....or something has arrived. Not sure what, though. What do you think?" Light glanced to his comrade. Personally he thought it would be best to split up. Takehitsu could find the Dark Elf while Light checked out whatever had fallen into the city. Light could not sense any Vaste Lorde either so it might have been okay to disregard whatever had arrived and leave it to the local authorities. ♠

♠ "Right....."
Light nodded and changed course, dashing off to see what was going on in town. His aura was kept low as if it was coiled around his person so that he wouldn't stand out amongst the citizens of Riverrun. No need to cause alarm to those with abilities to sense energy. ♠

His fiery eyes pierced the mind of a nearby woman, as he took a couple of steps towards her. He was roughly her height, which was rather nice... She seemed to be unsure whether to be afraid or to be flattered by his presence. He'd ask her simply, "Where am I?"
Guards started pouring into the streets around him as she answered, "Riverrun...." hesitantly. The guards started shouting at him to back away from the woman and submit to the law and Identify himself... The usual things a guard would yell.
A turning of the head to the crowds of the city defenders, and a smile suddenly seemed much more ominous than one could expect. He'd turn himself around entirely to face them, raising his arms horizontally outwards. He'd then frown to himself, turn to the woman, smile sweetly, and thank her with a simple, "Danke."
A small flame started at his finger tips. He'd close his eyes and arch his head back. The fire formed a pair of orbs, and shadows formed around the balls of fire. He'd then drop them... chains attatched to his palm. The momentum began as the burning orbs started to swing about in split time... then matched time. As they arched around, dropping infront of him and raising behind him, the guards began to arm themselves with the vast weapons that they had. The mistaken Phoenix would speak with a strange rumbling voice, "Heilig ist mein Kreig..." As the sphere rose up behind him, he stepped back a little bit... then the fires enlargened and solidified... When reached their far-point from him, he kicked off, dispersing them, and flinging himself up and over the mass of guards.
The black mist that floated out of his sleeve swiftly extended to the wall of a nearby building, latching and pulling the body towards it. He'd land forming shadows beneath his feet which seeped into the wall. They left no markings nor any energy residues to be traced, they were just dark. He ran across the wall for a bit until he was on the side that was opposite of the castle. From there he turned himself upright, and rose the shadows as an elevator. Once at the top he released and flipped forwards, kicking of a small disc of light he spawned, then landed on the roof-top, facing the castle. He'd reach towards it with his hand open, as if attempting to grab it out of the background. He clenched a fist and smirked saying softly in a deep voice, "Heilig ist mein Kreig und meine Zeit is klein!"

♠ "......."
Light had just neared the gathered crowd and saw just how many law enforcers there were. The half-angel wasn't quite up to making his presence known to them yet. After coming back from Hueco Mundo, the Kingdom thought some of it's fighters were missing or dead! Very few knew that some of them had returned.
"Did you see that? Who was that man?" Light glanced over to one of the people who had retreated away from the crowd, one of them being the woman who encountered him face to face. "I don't know...but he had a wonderful smile!" She giggled and walked off with her friend as they left matters to the guards who were still making a fuss for the "Intruder's" little escape. No doubt the gossip would spread through town.
"Huh...." Light thought the situation over carefully as he rubbed his chin. This didn't seem like a Vaste Lorde attack. But would it be wise to look further into the matter himself? Oddly instead of standing there and pondering, Light was already moving to encounter the mystery man. He'd slip between two buildings with enough room to jump up and spring himself off of one wall and to the other.
"Phew...let's see..." He'd glance around to spot the man standing on another roof across the street. What was he doing..? "........." ♠
