Synne blinked "Ohhh yeah... Mommy's always talking about shields."
Erian smiled again and put his head down, wincing at the slight pain at his wing stubs.
Ro eyed her.. unsure how to take the friendliness "I don't think so... I was just coming for a drink before I worked on setting up my library.." She glanced at the pantry "Tea? What kind of tea does Azy have?"

Valzar nodded, "I have to know how to make shields. My mother has only Kar and I so we have to protect her."
Arcanon frowned in concern, "Did your uncle send any more of those potions over for you?"
Lilah blinked and smiled, "'Azy'?"

Erian shrugged "I dunno... probably..."
Ro glanced at her "Yes... Azy. I've called him that since I met him." She grinned "He hated that name... probably still does though he doesn't even bother telling me not to use it anymore.."

"I don't think so," Valzar said slowly increasing the size of the shield. "But Karkaras said we have to be ready to protect our mother no matter what."
"Any idea where I could find them?" Arcanon asked gently.
Lilah giggled, "Oh dear, it's so hard to imagine..." She padded back over to the pantry, "You were asking about tea? You're in luck, Azaroth seems to keep more tea in stock than food. So strange, I don't remember him having a taste for tea..."

Erian looked around "Its should be in a bag... but I don't know where anyone put it..."
Ro grinned "Yeah... thats probably my fault. Everytime we had magic lessons I'd have tea and biscuits also. I think I got him hooked on tea." She peered in to see if he had the good stuff or if it was crap like Sal and Godric had.

Valzar averted his eyes, "I don't know about that..."
"Alright, don't worry. I'll find it," Arcanon said poking around the room. "You'd think they'd put it somewhere close by..."
"Here," Lilah said stepping back. "Take your pick. I'll put some water on."

"Mother was to have a daughter," Valzar said quietly. "Two sons are a disgrace to her..."
Arcanon grinned spotting a bag tucked under the couch, "We might be in luck...are you good for another dose?"
Lilah smiled putting the kettle over the fire, "Azaroth tends to have good taste..."

Synne frowned "Shouldn't mommy's be happy with any child they get? I don't think you and Kar are a disgrace! You both are really cool!"
Erian nodded "Yeah... Uncle Sal said I should take the pain relievers as I need them..."
Ro shrugged.. she could think of a few times Az's taste wasn't quite so good. "Maybe... I think he also knows better than to have bad tea around when I'm here."

Valzar gave her a weak smile, "Thanks."
"Alright," Arcanon said pulling out a bottle that looked just like the others ones he'd seen at the wizards' house. "Here you go."
"Maybe," Lilah said quietly waiting for the water to boil.

"I should get back to practicing," Valzar said quietly going back to his spell casting.
"I know, but it'll make you feel better," Arcanon said gently.
"Oh, no thank you," Lilah said shaking her head. "I've never really liked tea. Too bitter for me."

Valzar worked on a few more shield spells, switching between different sizes and strengths.
"Hopefully you won't have to take too many more," Arcanon said encouragingly.
"Sugar and honey," Lilah shrugged. "I prefer hot water and lemons."
