Curious, Kyfen walked over to the window, peeking out into the dark night-time street outside. One couple, a man and a woman, were walking along arm in arm down the road, engrossed in conversation. As much as Kyfen strained his hearing, he could only just make out what they were saying.
"So... What do you think?" The girl asked. She had short blonde hair, and her stature was a hourglass figure.
The man, a slightly red-in-the-face skinhead, shrugged. "I like them. Except..."
"Hmmm?"
"That John guy. He's obviously still not over you."
"You're kidding. That's not true. It's been, what, four years since we went out?"
"That doesn't mean anything. I... I don't want you to see him anymore."
"What!?"
"You heard me."
"Don't you trust me?! I should've known you were the jealous type!"
The argument esculated, but Kyfen turned away.
It must get upsetting, after a while, to always be right. He thought. Then, a knock at door distracted him. Yata opened the door, and motioned in the person as if their vistor was an old friend. Kyfen leaned round, to see the person at the door.
Who could it be? He thought.

closing the door he says, "So nice to see you again lynn. how long has it been since we've last seen each other? and matt's in the back." turning to kyfen he says, "Is there any other questions you wish to ask, and you don't have to act 'proper' the orginal twenty greatly very between each other and moods."

Thankfully, Kyfen slouched back down in his chair, elbows on the table.
"M-Me? Yeah, I have. My name's Kyfen!"
She really did look like Jodie, from his dream. It was slightly unnerving. Part of him wanted to ask her if she knew her, but he had a feeling the answer would be no. Maybe he should ask later, when they knew each other better.
Facing Yata he cheerily said "Well... I guess my only question left is when do I getta meet them!"
Yata, as always knew just how to cheer him up. It was hard to believe his job was based around wars and fighting, since he was so nice. It gave Kyfen a little hope; that after many years of being immortal you didn't have to become all depressed and sad, haunted by the things you have seen and done.
Now the girl form before had entered, it felt like he had gone full circle that day. Kyfen hoped she would be nice, too. She seemed quite funny, and he giggled a little as she yelled at Matt.

luaghing he turned to kyfen and said, "Well it'll take a while, for we'd have to find them first. Some of them make them selfs well known like me while others choose to hide in the darkness like cyera. It's getting late i should take you back to the orphanage, then they can't get after you since you've been with a government offical all day long."

Kyfen smiled back at Matt. Clearly, his girlfriend had cheered him up already. Which was good- he definately preferred this happier Matt than the darker one from ealier.
"Are you sure? I migh get into trouble if I just don't come back..." Kyfen squirmed. His day had been exciting, and full of boths joys and sorrows, but right now he was very, very tired.
The care home wasn't quite the nightmarish realm Matt described it to be, but it tended to be pretty darn close. He made friends, at least he had at first, but one by one, they all disappeared- taken in by a foster or biological parent, or moved to a different carehome. In this, Kyfen could understand some of the older immortal's pain; knowing that everytime you made a friend, you would loose them. It was a hard lesson to learn, but it didn't mean you should give up on it. What mattered was the time you spent together, not the goodbyes. Oneday, Kyfen would learn otherwise, but that day wasn't today. But the events that would lead up to it were rapidly approaching.

((Oooh- Foreshadowing! Feel afraid!))

"They might not, I was an orphan...and nobody noticed I was gone...Then again...There is an option four as well. I could always adopt him...Or make some idiotic outraguss claim that he's my long lost brother...Yeah.." Matt thought it over for a moment.. "Option three sounds good to me, you okay with this Kyfen?" Matt turned to Kyfen who seemed to be dozing in and out of sleep.

"If it's the same owned the same nice lady...I could...I know the lady that owns the orphanage but that's beside the point. We should let him decide. What if he wants to go back.."

"I honestly don't want to know what the hell your doing to the kid. With that botle of yours." Matt commented, it looked like tortur but Yata wouldn't do that. Or would he?
