Riley hesitated but then turned to Jack just continued to drive. "Well, he's" She paused and turned to her brother. "What's the date?"
"August 27th." He said. Riley tried to figure out his age.
"Aw, no. I missed you're 16th birthday." She said. Jack smiled and looked at her through the mirror.
"Sis, your the best present I could ever get." Riley hugged her brother around the neck. "Love you too." He smiled. She let go and turned back to Nancy.
"Like he said he's 16, which I can't believe, and he's part wolf. It's still a miracle that we get a long. But one day we were playing outside and we had gone to far. That's when government found us. We ran back to our home, which was a cave back then. The abandoned house was our playground. But we ran back home which was our mistake. Jack escaped but my parents and I didn't. Since I was still young, the kept me alive since I was still useful." Jack's smile faded at the thought of his parents. It had been awhile since he had thought about them.

Beth smiled at the sweet reunion between brother and sister. She may sometimes come across as the tough street kid, but deep down, she was a big softy.
Hopping on the bus, she sat and listened to the conversation among the others. She too thought that things seemed a little convenient, but at the moment, she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
When the conversation got around to the history of Riley and her family, Beth felt a stab. "I'm sorry Riley, Jack. But at least you had your parents for a all those years, and you have each other still. That's more than.... than some people have." Pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, she rests her head on her knees as a tear slides down her cheek.

Riley moved over and sat next to Beth. She wrapped her arms around her and smiled. "You have us. We're family now. All of you can stay as long as you like." Jack again looked through the window.
"That and there's lots of food at our house." He said. "From the looks of it I bought the right supplies expect for the bat guy. What does he eat anyway?"

Beth smiled and leaned against Riley. "Thanks." She gave a sad chuckle. "Ya know, after all we went through at the labs, I thought I'd be over all that junk, but I guess there are some things you just can't get over, huh?"

Riley nodded. "Yeah, there's just some things you never forget." She thought of her parents and her brother. People she never forget. The thought of them kept her going every day. They helped her to never give up.
Jack thought of his sister as he heard their conversation. Everyday he knew she was still alive. She was the reason he stayed in the abandoned house. He kept it "haunted" and ready for her arrival home.
"Just you wait. In a matter of hours, we'll be at your new home with warm beds and a lot of good food." Riley smiled.

"So we can't go back to the festival? man i wanted to mess around with some little kids." frowing he stared out the window for a while.

"So what do we do after we get to the mansion? i mean we have to work to get food don't we?" planning on exploring the place to find his own little spot to relax for a while.

Jack laughed. "Trust me. There is plenty food at the house. Any if you can't find anything I show you the best places to get whatever."
"You won't have to work, unless you want to." Riley said.
"Yeah, every thing's pretty much payed for." Jack added. Riley looked at him curiously. "Remember Mr. Wiser?" He asked. Riley nodded. "Well, he agreed to pay for everything. You won't believe what he did to the house."

Simon flexed his new leg cautiously. By now it had completely regrown, and looked no different from his previous one. Simon still found it hard to believe - he kept expecting to wake up and see his leg broken.
He perked up when he heard about the house. "Sounds like heaven," he said. "With this Mr. Wiser as God." He laughed. They were free, they were going to be taken care of - what more could he ask for?
Suddenly his mood dropped as he remembered that there was something else he could ask for. "Hey... once we get to the house..." he said slowly. "Would it be possible for me to call my parents?"

Riley looked at Simon. "Of course you can call your parents." She smiled at him and turned back to Jack. "So Jackie, how is Mr. Wiser?" She asked.
"You'll see for yourself since he's staying with us. That way he can still pay the bills and such." Riley smiled at the thought. It had been too long since she had seen everybody. Again as the time drew closer to being home, she couldn't help but be filled with even more joy.

Sakura stared off into space, wondering what exactly she was going to do now. The others were talking about their families, calling them, going back to them...but she couldn't do that. Even if her father was still around, he was abusive. And after she had run away, she hadn't become close enough to anybody to be missed. She could live back on the street again...but she was still in danger then. Riley said they could live with her. But would that really work? She wasn't used to the family vibe. I guess I'll stay with them, for now. Until I work something else out.

Michael looked out the window as he sat on top of the seat of the bus resting his feet on the actual seat. He felt Rileys and Jacks pain. He set the emotions aside " Well aside the whole happiness with the whole home and all, we can't just do nothing about the dam lab and experiments. What are we gonna do? I know there gonna find more kids and what is going to stop them? no one! We have to do something." Michael said.

Jack smiled at Michael's question. "What?" Riley asked. He motioned her to come to him. When she did, he whispered in her ear and Riley smiled. She sat next to Michael. "He says don't worry about it. Mr. Wiser has already called the best lawyer on this planet. He's already working on shutting them down. It's almost done actually." There was pause. Riley looked at Michael. "Don't worry about it. I know it was horrible, but it's over. Enjoy the freedom! For crying out loud. Just enjoy life because you can."

"Ok first off even if they do get shut down what'd happen to us? i personally refuse to go back to my famliy, for two reasons. one, i'd be treated like a freak. two. i'd get hunted down by some gang members. I mean will they cure us or is it government funded? seriously if it is, even if they do get shut down what's stopping them from hunting us down like wild animals? or even throwing us into another more secure facility? even more so what about our rights, will we be treated as equals or will they treat us like they did back in the facility?"
