Teh_Sheba "Avatar Aang" only proves the obvious in that Aang has officially become a fully realized Avatar...Therefore he's now called Avatar Aang like Roku is Avatar Roku...
Which also means he opened the Avatar State, which means he let go of Katara. Which means he finally met his goal. Shocker! lol.
LMAO, is there even anyone left who believes that book anymore? I find it hilarious now. Me and Kat(AVidZktjo) have been wreaking havoc and writing essays like no tomorrow and we're BOTH 110% sure that Zutara is happening. We're partners in crime! 4laugh I know, I'm just being sarcastic. rofl I am looking forward to seeing Aang in all his avatar glory.

Something big must happen between Zuko and Katara in the episode after the Boiling Rock episode. Katara went from "I will end you!" to practically being right on top of him in every moment. Nothing wrong with that. I don't care if it is romantic or not, I look forward to seeing what it is.
As for the scar, maybe they flipped that scene? Its from the Western Air Temple right?

I think so :/ Well, seeing the new trailer pissed me off D: I want them to end up together sooo bad, and it bums me out that they won't. But y'know what? Katara and Aang kiss. Big woop, we've got macros for that. But you know what? Zuko takes a bullet lightening bolt for her! If that's not love, than what is?! What guy would take a lightening strike for another guys girlfriend? Seriously! xD

Katessa Why I'm NOT freaked out right now? Highlight below::
Okay, so firstly, the book was been stated not to hold ANY information as to shipping, correct? There for, any form of a "relationship" based scene can NOT be considered real. Not only that, but it clearly states that the comic is an ADAPTATION of the FINAL BATTLE, NOT the series finale. And, just for further proof, adaption means: the state of being adapted; adjustment. ADJUSTMENT!!
That means, that this is just a sort of high class, fancy FAN FICTION for the avatar fans to get their fill. Not to mention, of COURSE there is no Ursa, or any other main characters, cause considering the comic is generated towards young kids, they can't get into complex explainations about relationships, or feelings, or anything. So of course they would take the easy way out, and make it seem like she's going to choose Aang.
Finally, as from I've seen, and what Artxet has seen, Avatar Spirit is rapid with Kataangers, so of course any sign of her caring for Aang is going to make them believe that Kataang is cannon. And if Kataang is cannon by the Kataangers "ALL KNOWING" logic, then of course it has to be Maiko, cause Zuko HAS to end up with someone who ISN'T Katara, right? Seriously, I don't take anything Avatar Spirit, or the comic says too seriously. After all, it is designed for small children of the show, therefore, lacks any real storyline plots, or explanations, so of course they have to make it simple so the children don't go home asking their parents "mommy, what does LOVE mean? Why is she with HIM?" It would bring up too many questions, that most parents don't want to answer to children of such a young age group, such as the ones the comic was created for.
In short, if by some miracle, the comic does SUGGEST any kind of shipping, and it looks like Kataang, then it only proves that Zutara is more canon then ever. WHY? Because it is an ADAPTATION of the true ending, therefore, just sort of a "what if" kind of story, with inside views as to what was going on in their heads. And they can't make it too complex, since it is for children. So don't let it get you down guys, I still have rapid faith about the whole thing. We must keep strong, now more so than ever against this comic. It ain't over until the the credits role, and they give the story an OFFICIAL ending. I love you... I didn't mean to read this thread...well, ok I did. I'm weak willed, sue me...and, please don't think I'm a dork, or obsessive for this, but, my blood kind of ran cold for a second. You have restored my hope, and that makes you my new bff. My resolve to see this through to the end has been restored.

Remember, though. It's Nick, and Nick writers listen to their whiny kids who want to shape the turnout. but really, what the ******** ******** were these shitters smoking?! since Kamen Rider is coming to CN, i don't have a need to watch Nick anymore once Spring comes.

My gawd I am late. D8 It's been, what, six days since the finale that I now decided to join and post? -dies-
Anywho! YESS...I was very excited for the finale of Avatar. The fighting scenes were awesome, for sure. I liked how everyone was apart from one another and they all had to face their each own obstacle. It was much better than if they just had them all together. The whole thing with the old guys reuniting and taking back Ba Sing Say though, I wished scenes with them would've been more high lighted. (Cause old master guy dudes teaming up to kick butt = more epicness Yay GrandPakku! XD) The Toph/Sokka/Suki team branch was awesome as well with their whole air battle thing. XD I have NOOO problem with Sukka, so I'm glad that one was canon. ~
But yeah, when Zuko and Iroh reunited, I was one of those who cried. It was just too sweet. ;; Zuko saving Katara was great. <3 And I was surprised that they were able to show Azula's break down (I didn't expect it, I halfway expected for her to turn good! -shot-), it was dramatic and it also did make me want to sympathize for her. Her freaking out and bawling was pretty creepy though. XD;
Mai coming out of no where was dumb, though I kinda predicted that. I mean, if she was in the movie MORE OFTEN, I would've approved of Maiko more but...ew. DX She only betrayed Azula for her love of Zuko, but ZUKO BETRAYED HER FOR PEACE, AND TO CHANGE HIS LAND. She didn't seem to really care about his views, so it's not like she understands him at all. Only thing she said was "dun brake up wit meh anymorez, kay? D<" AFTER he helped saved the world? -eyeroll-
Ozai/Aang battle scene was pretty damn epic once he started to bend all elements at the evil (but very hawt! Literally..) man, but I sorta got angry when he didn't kill him. I mean, I knew they can't do that cause well..it's Nick, but still! XD They had to throw in some lion turtle thing that apparently was more wise than all his recarnations, and then Aaang magically was the FIRST to learn how to TAKE SOMEONE'S BENDING AWAY?!?! WHUT? He's a little kid and he can do it, but none of the adult avatars could??
The ending was lukewarm for me. I felt the whole crowning of Zuko could've been more...detailed, extreme, and dramatic. Like he'd give a longer speech or there was more people/decorations. XD I mean come on, they're talking about a new, GOOD leader who'll change the Fire Nation's ways! And are the guys just going to stay in Ba Sing Say like that, watching Sokka draw oh-so badly?? XD QUESTIONS!!
And yes, Katara and Aang just kissing in the last scene was 'out there' too. And they ended it like that! I dun wanna see Kataang in my VERY last moments of a FINALE! DDX
AND WHARE DEE FOOK IZ ZUKO'S MUMMY? crying
I didn't have any preferences for couplings until I saw the Katara/Zuko interaction in that movie thing (I forget x__x) with them both being imprisoned together. They are in closer age range for one, and their contrasting personalities just match well. I just can't believe they had so many moments IN and BEFORE the finale, only to act like it was nothing and go with "omgz Maiko and Kataang 8D"! .... stare That's just NOT cool man, NOT COOL.
If anything, I'd AT LEAST prefer Zuko with that girl who premiered in ONE of the episodes. I can't remember her name, but she was there when Zuko was in Ba Sing Say with his Uncle, having a tea shop? She was about kiss to him during a date or something and he ran off.
I do have to admit that I DID expect Katara to go with Aang, PURELY because of the possible fact that "Bryke" thought it would be WAAAY too 'complex' for the young viewers to have Aang like Katara in the beginning, only to have her go with someone else WHO IS BETTER FOR HER but NOT THE FIRST TO LIKE HER. Cause apparently, it's first come, first serve for love in Avatar land. rolleyes If anything, they should have disregard ANY signs of romance and focus on the main point = defeating Ozai, and leave the possible relationship match ups TO THE VIEWERS. For all in fairness, geez!
-sigh- Regardless, they did a good job on the finale. I'm curious to see what spin-off/sequel/prequel/whatever/etc they'll have coming.
