"its the mark of the shadow dragon"came the voice of leo who had popped up a few moments before"it is a symbol of dragon power it is the first of many stages to come... the armor is like dragon scales, blocks lower and mid level magic but it will fail from extreme magical attacks... i think in its next stage you mite develop some kind of dragon abilities... dragons claws... maybe even dragons breath, and quite possibly with time you mite even be able to transform in to a shadow dragon ... but that will take a long time"

okami grinned, "no we couldn't recognize you. Spark, i don't think your mother would recgonize you!" She listened as leo explained the mark. She whistled, "wow! to become on as a dragon, that would be cool!"

"Sure would,it weighs a ton though."Spark said as he looked at the tattoo.It had five circles around it,and one of them was a black while the others were empty."So about that emblem?"Spark said,looking at his mates."I seem to have seen it before,but I can't remember it."He thought.

(sorry i was gone so long got grounded -_-)
no one noticed that nicias folllowed Senri and Gabe through the portal. Just the way i like it, she thought, no one notices me. She decids she's going to walk around the library, check things out. If i know the layout to this place, she thought, it might come in handy soem time soon.

"The hunter's aren't going to take kindly to that guy you captured...Check his rank out.He's an sergeant,which means he is in command of a few hunters at least."Spark said,pointing at the badge on the hunter's chest."But first,let me do the asking."Black Thunder."Spark said,catching the lightning in a hand and charging it full of electricity.He tapped a finger on the Shadow Cage and a volt of cursed lightning blasted into it,singeing the hunter's back."Go ahead and torture me,I won't tell you a thing."The hunter spat.Spark vaporised the spit with a volt of lightning before it was out of the cage.He took both hands and slammed the cage,supercharging it but just not enough to kill the hunter.

"Go ahead,that should have been enough."Surely enough,the hunter shook himself from the electricity and begged for mercy,saying that he would tell them whatever they wanted to know."Perfect."Spark grinned."I suspect there's going to be a attack very soon.Anyone want to come help me?"He asked as he suited up with the armor and summoned his lightning arrow and blade.The arrow flew around him,seeming like it was alive as a protective guardian."I'm going."Spark turned around and smiled at his friends before he clamped his visor of the dragonskin armor shut and sped out the library doors.

The man in the dragonscale suit burst out of the door,greeting the hundred odd soldiers with the same emblem as those when he had been captured."How may I help you?"Spark said coldly as he ran a gauntleted hand along his lightning blade."You may help us by giving us your head."The commander of the hunters snarled at Spark."That's not very nice.Black Thunder!"Spark yelled.The bolt of lightning struck the captain to no visible effect."Anti-magic,wolf."The hunter broke into a smug smile."Not anti-melee,idiot."Spark said as he charged the hunters.The odds seemed to be against him,a hundred versus one,or was it?Back at the library he could hear some noises.He discharged the lightning,killing only three because of the anti-magic armor they had."This is going to be hard."Spark thought.

Leo ran out carrying his blade In hand it was covered in blue flames. When he sliced into the armor of one of the hunters he was thrown back by a huge blast that sent him flying into the library wall with a loud thud. The symbol was a seal that turns the libraries magic aginst it's user. Leo fell to the ground and picked himself up."I guess they have uped there game"he put out the flames and started sliceing thru the hunters at weak points in the armor.

"Hmm...Wonder why was Leo thrown back?"Spark said as he sworddanced around the enemies,hacking and slashing while dodging the attacks."Uh oh.This is bad."Spark thought as the melee troops parted to reveal a score of mages readying fire and ice spells."Lightning Cage!"Spark yelled,forming a cage around the mages as they casted the spells.The spells rebounded in the cage and burnt them to death."Black Thunder,Greatsword Form!"Spark yelled,holding up the blade.It enlarged into a greatsword and Spark twisted,slashing into a hurricane style.The sword drenched Spark's armor with the blood of his adversaries,staining it blood red.He glanced up from a body at Leo,who was fighting hard."He's the guy who saved me.It's time I returned the favour."Spark thought,seeing another score of mages readying to bombard Leo with spells.Spark threw the Greatsword and it smashed into the score of mages,slicing all of them clean into half.The Greatsword embedded itself besides Leo.Spark raised his gauntleted fists and prepared to take the enemies on.

Spark punched one hunter down with his right fist and stomped his chest with his foot.A hunter stabbed him from behind,the armor just clanged off the armor."Heh.Eat this."Spark said as he bashed the hunters chin up.He struck ungainly with his fists,the armor and tattoo weighing his right hand down.He slammed another down."Black Thunder!"Spark yelled,charging his gauntlets with lightning.He bashed two hunters,blasting them full of electricity.He dropped the charred hunters,and kicked one more down."I can't keep this up forever,this is too tiring.

he saw a flash of white and looked towards where it came from he saw a wall of energy flying towards spark he ran as fast as he could and jumped in front of the blast taking it full on. He screamed out in pain as it hit him after the blast was over he fell to the ground his body smoking he was still alive but just beat to hell and back.

Alex ran into the battle, sending her shadow-needles into the weak points in the hunters' armor, then summoned her shadow-sword. she pumped up it's power with some of the library's magic and was immediately thrown back. swearing, she stopped feeding the blade from the library and it started working normally again. she sliced a bunch of the hunters up, but there were always more. when she got a moment's rest, she sent a small healing spell towards leo, then returned to the fight. 'dammit, that's gotta be ravirn under that mask, that's the reason 'leo' was thrown back, and who else uses the library's powers?' she thought to herself. "they're armor's weak against physical attacks!" she yelled out. "they sacrificed strength for protection against the library's magics!"
