"I've been in a little town in the Eastern Mountain range for personal reasons. And my parents didn't leave, they died." She didn't want to explain any more, in fear that it might hurt her feelings. She was startled when the princess turned to face her. She stared straight into her eyes, though they were out of focus and slightly fogged over. "A fire burnted down my town. I didn't stay long enough to see the results, but the smoke came up from the area for hours afterwards behind me."

Lus started to shriek! "They can't just stop with my EYES can they?! They WON'T stop!!!" The wall length walls blew in, glass almost shattering as the bottem halves pulled upwards. "Herald! My weapons!!!" She was going to make them pay. This was the last straw. An official declaration of war. Violet had really gone and screwed up this time.

Luke grabbed Illusion's waist, pulling her close to him and holding her back. "Slow down, slow down! She said by A fire, not by Fire nation. If you can't control yourself... then maybe we should just take a while off."

He frowned deeply. "Artemis, was it? Perhaps we should talk more over breakfast, and you can elaborate on the situation."

Artemis ducked as the princess' shrieks blew everything around her. As she straightened back up, she saw the guy trying to calm her down. "Yes, of course. And may I ask your name?" She inquired. If she was going to discuss her life, she at least wanted to know the listener's name.

Luke struggled not to roll his eyes, instead regarding her coolly. "Introductions may be made later as well, unless you'd prefer a rain of glass and blades. Come! the dining hall awaits."

He turned and created a firm gust to guide the girls into the eatery.

"Let me go!" Illusion only struggled more, looking for any weaknesses in Luke's hold. She should have known it was useless...he had guarded her for years, he was probably a master as taking someone down with arms behind their back! "I swear that if you done let me go I'll blow this whole castle to pieces!!!" She started using her wings to pry at Luke's grip.

Luke pulled her into the kitchen, pulling frigid air toward him rapidly, to literally cool her down. "Slow down!" He grunted, her wings throwing him off.

"You... need to... relax!" He reached quickly up to her neck and pressed the top of the veins lightly, slowing the flow of blood- thus, oxygen- to her brain. "Slow down, relax."

He released her slowly, carefully, and took his hands back to himself. "Are you okay?"

Arteims followed them into the kitchen. "Is there anything I can do? Maybe go get your lunches? I've already had mine." She walked over and got a few plate fulls of food, with almost everything on them, not knowing what to get. She had to use a few plates, but using a few gusts of wind to help balance the plates on her arm helped.
She set down the plates for the two and stood back. "He's right. If your going to make a decision about war, it should be with a clear head, no regrets." She said as the guy continued to calm her down.
"Apparently you two must be hungry, since you were heading to the kitchen. Please, don't kill yourselves from starvation in the brink of war. Sit, and let's talk."

Lus refused to talk, but since she didn't want Luke to shovel the food in she grudgingly started to fork in the pancakes and hashbrowns. Fine. Let Lucas take care of this. It was probably someone SENT by fire to attack us and make us think it was 'another' renagade!

He watched her silently, not really paying attention to his own food. He broke the scones up into smaller and smaller pieces, until they resembled a fine dust of crumbs and berries scattered around his plate. His eyes started to wander around the room blankly, feeling bored.

They snapped back to Artemis suddenly. "So, if you would, please tell your story again. All the details you can remember would be helpful."

Artemis watched as they ate, more or less. When she was asked about wha thad had happened, she thought about it for a second. Then the words seemed to flow out of her mouth, glad to be released.
"I was sitting in my house when I noticed a red flickering light outside my window. I had stood up and started to walk to the window to investigate when my roof had started to fall in, flames all over it. I ran outside to escape before I had a chance to get locked in. As I got out there I noticed the whole neigborhood was up in flames as well. I tried to get rid of the fire with some strong bursts of wind, but they didn't react at all. I stood there, watching my house continue to burn. After a while, I ran to tell you. When I left, over half the the village hads begun to burn." She stopped there, her eyes glazing over. She leaned against the wall behind her and began to think of all that she had left behind.

"See? Why don't we just declare war and get it over with!" She shoved her empty plate away from herself, it almost shattered as it flew off the table to hit the wall. "I am SICK of just TALKING about THIS! It's a waste of time. They're probably planning another attack"

His heart was thudding severely in his chest. "Arson, then. Either it was another one of the false attacks, or Fire really has decided to attack us..."

Luke ran a hand through his hair, thinking carefully. He frowned lightly as sparks started to dance between his fingers. "We can't declare war..." he murmured, still thinking furiously. "We don't have the resources. We can withdraw all negotiations, all treaties and so forth, with Fire, but openly declaring war would only get us destroyed."

He looked out the window to the south. "I do hope that Mistress Hidama is successful in getting Talia's aid, because with the way things are going, Air is going to be in a very tight situation."

"What can we do to help our people? We must prepare to defend, at the moment, and save lives rather than wasting them. War should be avoided for as long as possible."

Katczinski woke up, sleeping next to Cecilia. The first rays of the morning sun made the air around him seem to glitter as he slowly crawled out of bed. He waved his hand towards the sun instinctively, and his illusion was up. Now invisible to the world, he meandered his way out of the room, gingerly brushing his long white hair with his thin and gentle fingers. He didn't know where he was going, but he could smell food, and that was enough to set him in motion.

He made his way to the kitchen, and sat in silence for a while as he watched the others talk. When Illusion threw her plate, he shrugged, and walked over to the table, kneeling down and examining some food on the edge of the table. He knocked on the table a few times, and the sound caused him to suddenly become visible, flickering on and off like an old light-bulb for a few seconds.

There he stood, his shiny green eyes affixed in rapt attention to the food before him. His left eye was noticeably slow, and seemed to be struggling as it centred itself- fixing Kat's vision for a moment. Kat didn't say a word- he only pointed at the food while he looked at the others with a hopeful expression on his face.

"We make allies...if any of fire steps foot on our land they'll be imprisoned and sent back. We'll let fire make the declaration." Her throat felt tight, constricted like a snake.

They were running out of options. One of her own people, Zig, even said she may side with water. What if water allies with fire? They were already short on people, short of food supplies. An alliance with earth was essential!

"Lucas...we can't take this lightly and just assume that it was another renagade. We HAVE to do something."
