Nalini walked over to Katrica, stopping right beside her, and gave her a nudge.
'Oi. Hairball.'

For a moment, Katrica didn't move but then she came back to her senses, cursed and ran towards the door.
"...s**t." She mumbled as she exited.

Watching the other LabTech's hasty exit, Nalini made her way over to the large cage in which the other werewolf had been contained. She unlocked it, and allowed Keanu to step out.
'You go sort her out. I ain't fixing your mess,' she snarled.

Keanu left the cage and stared at Nalini.
"... I don't know my way around, never mind where she will be. I think I'll wait here for her..."

'Eh, fine. Have fun. If she causes s**t or anything because of this, rest assured, the boss'll hear about it,' Nalini warned. Why she felt so suddenly protective of the werewolf, she had no idea.
Shrugging to herself, she turned and left the level.

Katrica strode in and up to a cage containing a green creature. She paused when she reached it.
"Holy hell... you've grown." She picked up the clipboard belonging to the creature and it's cage and scribbled a few notes down before placing it back.

'Eurgh, what is that?' Nalini asked, turning her nose up as she entered the Level 3 laboratory. 'You didn't sneeze, did you?'

"I have no idea what it is. I found it a while back in one of the air systems. It's grown rapidly since then. Let's hope it doesn't grow any more or there could be problems."
Kat put on a pair of gloves and unlocked the cage, carefully picking the creature up and looking it over. The creatures eyes were on full alert; searching around the room.
"It has more eyes than I thought it had. Seems like quite an alert creature-" The thing leapt from her grasp, landing without much of a sound on the floor, and ran faster than the eye could see towards Nalini.

Nalini leapt over the creature to avoid it, but as soon as she landed, she felt a slimy tendril curl itself around her ankle. It pulled suddenly, causing her to trip. She landed hard on the floor, stifling a curse.
She haphazardly shot a purple ball of DRKNRGY at it, but missed, crashing into several empty cages on the other side of the laboratory.

Katrica's instincts kicked in and she swore before leaping towards the creature, attempting to grab it but ending up face first on the floor. She swore once more.

Nalini phase shifted out of the creature's grasp, before solidifying and swooping down to pick up the fallen werewolf.
As soon as her feet hit the floor again, a pressure was placed on her throat, as a tendril wrapped itself around her throat, squeezing her trachea. Choking, her hands rose her neck to try and loosen its grip on her. Her dark eyes were bulging, staring frantically at Katrica.

Once again, Katrica's werewolf instincts kicked in and she growled, baring her teeth that had slightly grown. She clenched her fists and opened them a few times before moving to help Nalini.
She dug her claw like nails into the creature's main body, the creature making a strange but loud screaming noise, it's grip coming loose slightly. Upon hearing the scream, Kat bit through it's tendril, severing it and pulling the creatures body away from Nalini and threw it into the cage.

Nalini leant forwards, one hand at her throat, taking deep breaths. She felt almost ashamed that a creature like that could have taken her so badly by surprise.
A few moments later, when she was sure she could breathe properly again, she straightened up and looked awkwardly at Katrica.
'Uh...thanks for that,' she uncomfortably mumbled, pride dented.

Katrica spat on the floor, disgusted at biting the creature.
"Yuck. And... no problem. Anything for a work mate." She smiled before looking at the cage. "... I feel sick."
