"Yeah, we'll be good," Adan grinned at Feng. "I'm gonna go see if Shael's done with dinner yet, I'm hungry!" And with that, he darted into the kitchen.

Adwin ran over to Aliya and clambered up on the other side of her, grinning brightly. "Come sit, Feng!" he called, patting the couch beside himself.

Amdir grinned at Tao. He could see that she was friendly, and he could sense that she was curious. He smiled at her, holding out one hand, and then started making sounds at her, without knowing beforehand what sounds they would be, only what they would convey: greetings and reassurances.

Their excitement made Feng giggly, though there was very little that did not make her giggly inside. She made her way over to them, and flopped down beside Adwin. No tail of course, but she flopped pretty well with legs.

Now this was a new novelty for her, this one was saying hello, well she was sure the others said hello before, but not in this way that she understood. She tittered back a greeting as she closed the distance, lowering her head so it would be under his hand and nudging it. Trying to maneuver it to pet her.

Once they were up the stairs, Lin began the usual tradition of door counting, keeping her hands on the wall of doors as she went. As she couldn't see anything really unlike Shiro and Ura.

"Hmm... and here," she pointed to one door, "That would be Aragost's room, and Elro's is right across from it," she explained as she knocked.

"Oh," Shiro murmured softly, glancing over at the other door as they waited for an answer to Lin's knock. "I see."

He looked around a bit. "Is it always so dark in here, do you know?" he asked Lin softly. "They should put in a window or something so that there's a bit of light, at least."

After only a moment, Aragost's door opened and the tall man himself stood in the doorway, though he wasn't blocking it entirely.

"Hello again, Lin," he murmured, opening the door a bit wider. "Miyu will be ready in just a moment, she's just putting her things back in her bag."

He smiled at the two nekos from the shadows of his cowl. "And I see there are more Aldriches to meet," he murmured. "Hello, Shiro ... hello, Ura ... it is wonderful to meet you."

Adwin giggled and poked Feng in the side. "I'm gonna tickle you!" he announced with a squeal, wiggling his finger a bit.

Amdir chuckled and stroked the griffin's neck slowly. "Yes, you are beautiful," he murmured. "Kara was right though ... you are a bit too friendly with strangers ... we're going to have to train you up, aren't we? Yes we are ..."

Feng giggled excessively though it wasn't because she was being tickled, she thought it was so... cute. This word was going to become a very permanent part of her vocabulary.

"Then I'll... tickle you back," she wiggled her fingers back at his side.

Oooo... he has good fingers was the first thought as Tao cooed though she wondered what he was thinking. He was thinking something and she knew that, but petting too top marks in her mind.

Though she thought she heard the word train, it meant something....

Miyu appeared behind Aragost smiling with her bag over her shoulder. She waved at her aunt and cousins.

"Shiro! Ura!"

Lin grinned, not at all surprised at Aragost's ability to know names, "Hi Aragost, hi Miyu! Hope you had fun."

She probably did, Miyu enjoyed this sort of thing, it was a good quiet activity for her, which was probably what made it so good.

Shiro was taken completely by surprise by Aragost - and a little creeped out to be honest - so he just offered up a nervous smile before waving past the man at Miyu.

Ura, on the other hand, gazed up at the man fearlessly. He could sense Shiro's unease, but for once it didn't transmit to him as well.

"You're the one Toshiro calls Mr. Dark and scary, aren't you?" he asked bluntly.

Adwin squealed and folded like an accordion, wrapping his arms around himself to keep Feng from tickling his sides.

"Not fair!" he giggled. "You can reach more!"

Alyse, still sitting quietly on the other side of Aliya, peered over to see what was going on.

Amdir patted Tao on the head and cooed softly to her, telling her that he had to go inside but would be back out after dark. Then, with a final pat, he headed up to the house and stepped inside.

Aragost murmured a soft hello to Lin, but burst out laughing heartily at Ura's comment.

"I imagine that must be true," he chuckled, reaching down and patting the demon on the head. "I do tend to ... come across that way at times ..."

On purpose.

"Well that's what happens when you try to tickle someone silly," Feng giggled as she picked him up and hugged him, "You get tickled, but you're so cute that I'll stop and just hug you instead."

Tao watched as this new person (this new interesting person) left to go inside. She could smell food, the stuff that always was warm, if not warmer than fresh food she ate, and assumed that they were going to feed. So she was fine with that, besides she had all these open area and leaves to lay in.

One would imagine that Toshiro was mortified at Ura saying that seeing as he meant it sarcastically, after all Aragost was not scary, only to the adults. So yes, Toshiro was indeed mortified beyond belief.

Miyu though giggled at that as she went around Aragost to join her family. It was getting late and she didn't want to keep Aragost from his supper.

Ura stared evenly up at Aragost as if trying to decide something, and finally he nodded as if satisfied and said, "I think you're okay."

Shiro looked down at the little demon curiously, wondering what in the world he could have meant by a comment like that, but then he waved up at Aragost and turned to leave with the others.

Adwin giggled and threw his arms around Feng's neck. "I like that idea," he grinned, wrapping his legs around her stomach as well. "I'm not gonna let you go now! You're mine!"

From where he was standing at the door, Amdir laughed and headed over to join the others. "Well, if that isn't one of the cutest things I've ever seen," he chuckled. He bent over to greet Aliya with a kiss, then grinned at Feng and Ryu. "It's good to see you two again. Welcome back."

Aragost chuckled again, more softly this time, and waved back to the children. "I'll see you all tomorrow afternoon," he murmured, closing the door behind them and heading over to eat his bento dinner.

Feng laughed as Amdir came through the door, she waved as well as she could having Adwin hang off of her.

"Thanks, and welcome home," Feng giggled, "It's good to see you too!"
Ryu nodded at that feeling, "It is indeed, how have you been doing?"

Lin led the way back out making sure that everyone kept together, the good thing about having the boys with her, she thought to herself was that she didn't have to worry about losing anyone. Miyu was pretty good now about going through with her and she would probably keep close to Shiro.

"What are we doing in the afternoon?" she just realized.

It had just become the assumption (though rightly so) that they would meet him in the afternoon.

Amdir grinned at the two of them. "I've been well," he replied warmly, picking up Alyse, sitting beside Aliya, and sitting his daughter on his lap. "Horses need training, kids need taking care of, the usual. New son."

His eyes glittered brightly.

"And yourselves?"
