Kore rolled over onto his back and stared at this pathetic lump of fur and began growling. Not a growl of anger or one of a hunter. It was one of a disappointed lion. As he laid on his back he closed his eyes and began to doze of to a light slumber. The lion was more than willing to let the rabbit live but he was not so happy about making the scum his friend.

Natamo smirked and shook her head.
"Bad move Kiba, moving ahead of your partners to the second rungs of the ladder. You might think it's good teamwork to move ahead of your partners to help them, but it might make your partners feel like you're leaving them behind. Tanu's tough, but she won't always be the one you work with. Start over - and this time, you get to carry something up with you. Let's see...." Natamo tapped her cheek thoughtfully and then smiled, scanning the trees above them and climbing up one easily, pulling a fat furry creature with long arms from a branch nearby. She coddled it and kissed its nose - and then grabbed Kiba's collar and wrapped it around the boy's torso. Natamo leaned over Kiba's shoulder and smiled.
"You're now the proud momma of a year old sloth named Zuka. If you drop him, you'll regret it," Natamo said in a low tone, and she petted Kiba's head lightly before returning to watch over Hanabira and Karite, who were working very well now that they had gotten through beginning issues. Natamo looked over at her floppy eared rabbit and Kore, and groaned. Bloody lions...Karite wasn't teaching the cat to be friendly enough, it seemed. "Kore!" she barked, shaking her head again. "Try thinking about it as something other than dinner or a weak morsel. A full grown lion is a better predator than any human, but you're still partnered with one aren't you?"

Kore looked up as the woman began to yell at him. He could understand what she was saying well enough to do it, but just could she told him to act nicer to people doesn't mean he would. These other meat bags had proven nothing to him. Orika had earned her respect just like Karite did. Mind you Karite still had some growing up to do but he had proven to Maya to be worthy of the Tategami clan name and even Kore had seen him in action many a time. The boy had hands sticker than tree sap and quicker than a cobra. He had a skill with that stick he carried around and he wasn't to bad with the ladies. Orika was almost as strong as Maya and that meant something for the fleshy girl. What Kore was suppose to see that was worthy in this rabbit he did not. It was nothing more than a pathetic sac of food.

Kore continued to lay on his back trying to think of any reason to consider this lump to be anything better than dinner. It looked tasty, tasted tasty, smelled tasty, and was just pure tasty. All good reasons why he should eat it now and stop wasting his time playing with it. Closing his golden eyes again the lion was more than content on living his life with Karite and completely ignoring the rest of the world outside the Tategami and a few selective meat bags. This rabbit wasn't one of them.

Practicing Your Technique
Once you learn a ninjutsu from your academy teacher, constantly train in it. The more you work with your chakra and that technique, the better you'll get overall. Give yourself some standards while practicing. You can time yourself to see how fast you can execute the technique, concentrate on the seals and how your chakra moves with them. The better understanding of the seals and how you work with them will benefit you with that technique and learning other techniques.

With his sandals in hand Sorri walked along the shores of his homeland , making sure the sand slid its way between his toes it was a small tingling sensation that came along with walking around barefooted, maybe he should give it a go more often, he had seen different people do it all the time. The water, kicked up into the air and back down into the wash looked like the weirdest of spheres that only came back to run over his feet with the rest of the little waves anyway. Coming to the Waterfall area the kid sat and near the stones and sat back, relaxing against the stone wall while he let his left hand sink into the water. Starring at the distorted image of his hand in the running water, mr. beach head had been struck by and idea. He pulled his hand back out and focused a small nit of chkara inside it and dipped it back i, performing the rope escape jutsu to make his fingers look like thick noodles wiggiling in the water. "Coool.."

{Sorri, I'll be gone until Tuesday~Just go ahead and find Xyn and go crocodile huntin'~Serena'll catch up.}
The sound of the waterfall seemed almost melodic to Serena today as she walked along the walkway towards the lagoon. As she neared the water, she heard quite familiar voices - voices of students who have most likely received their genin status today. "Hiiii everyone~you guys look like you're all training hard today!"
Among the group of people down there, the Raiken spotted the white haired boy she was looking for. What was he doing anyways? Playing with water? "Meh..that's him.." She skipped along the edge of the water and once she was close enough, bent down and scooped her hand in and out of the water in attempt to splash her teammate. "Hey you~Wake up! You need to help me find Xyn so we can go get rid of some crocodiles down at the Forest of Sorrows. " It might be a bit tougher to find Xyn. He was always out in random places...maybe he was at the library today..."Actually..you go find Xyn and meet me at the Forest. You're always lookin for him for a fight. You'll know where he might be better than me."

Tanu was near falling asleep in the warm sun when Shin and Kiba started talking about training. Lifting her arm from over her eyes, the Kun 'Kumo glared at Shin as Natamo began to speak to them. "If we get something hard... I'm going to kill you," Tanu muttered under her breath to Shin, knowing that he and Kiba would be able to hear her. Sitting up once Natamo had the ladder set up, Tanu frowned. "Climb to the top?" the girl asked as if Natamo was joking. Shin and Kiba were already up, heading up to the second loops. Tanu jumped to her feet, not bothering to put on her shoes and socks. "I'm not short!" the girl yelled, knowing very well she was short compared to Shin and Kiba. The girl took a big leap, almost skipping the first ring and grabbing onto the second. "Haha!" Tanu laughed as she climbed up to where Kiba was. "Nice baby, Moma-Raiken," the girl teased him as she looked down to Shin. "C'mon Nara," she pestered him, knowing that all he had to do was merely stand up straight and he'd be on the same ring as them.

It had been a boring mourning, Sorri thought maybe a bit of relaxation had been what he had need but it turned out to be the exact opposite, he's body felt uneasy when it wasn't under and stress and with Shinichi gone Sorri had no idea how t grab a mission so he sat there..and played in the water. Then a spray of the stuff had been splash on him out of nowhere. With a scowl on his face he turned and chuckled while keeping the expression on his face going and splashed back at her. "Crocodiles? her those things have more teeth then a shark...or was it a kitten...or was it the other way around? Bah so wait..." His exprssion instinly became even more of a natural dull Xyn had been missing and was holding up the both of them again."Sure right he would be missing.." Sorri took a breath and shook his head as he place his hands into the ram seal with the image of their floor in the housing district "I'm gonna kill him." With a poof from his replacement Juts, Sorri was gone.

rolling back over Kore stood onto his feet and began to circle the rabbit as if he was waiting for his chance to pounce on the creature. His tail swishing back and forth on the ground. As his black paws touched the ground spreading out his claws, he could see the rabbit's nervousness. Being in front of the king was a scary thing. What made this situation worse is neither could leave. A stand still like no other before. Kore flicked his gold eyes at the woman hoping she wasn't looking. Sticking out his tongue and licking the back of the rabbits head. Tasting the rabbit proved his first conclusion. It would have made a better snack then a friend.

Shin couldn't help but laugh when Kiba picked on Tanu about her height. She was in a squad with two of the tallest boys in the village. The Nara knew that Kiba would be amongst one of the tallest once he hit his late teens! "Ah," Shin started when a furry creature was latched onto Kiba. "Zuka?" Shin asked as it barely moved. It almost looked as if it were dead! Zoning out on the little creature caused Shin to fall behind a bit until Tanu yelled back at him. "Coming!" the dusty haired boy said as he merely pulled himself up once to be at the same height as the other two.

A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Kiba's face as his dark eyes slowly turned to look at the sloth that was now clinging to him. Dang it! he thought to himself A sloth!? Why!? Could Natamo-sensei have picked a more disgusting animal!? The young Raiken was not foolish enough to voice these thougts, however, lest Natamo manage to find a more disgusting animal. The really bad part was not the animal itself, however, but Natamo's threat. Kiba wondered if Natamo was always this scary or if they had just managed to get on his bad side. Kiba hardly noticed his fellow Raiken, Serena, enter because of the sloth, but did manage to throw her a vague sort of wave. The situation was not made any better by Tanu who's words echoed through Kiba's head. 'Moma-Raiken Moma-Raiken Moma-Raiken...' So focused on the sloth was Kiba that his attention was barely on the task of climbing the rope, and overwhelmingly on making sure he secure Zuka. "Uh, yeah, so just let me know how to help either of you up to the next rung I guess." Kiba stammered out rather distractedly. Kiba really did not seem to be much of an animal lover. The lions freaked him out, the sloth was repulsive... what animals did he like?

Karite The Reaper Karite had watched the scene unfold and luckily he had finished his instructions before Shin yelled out. As the boy ran forward there wasn't much Karite could do to stop him but, thanks to Natamo he wouldn't have to. Everyone else had scolded Shin already, and knowing where he was coming from Karite felt he should ease the boys worries some. "Shin, its no problem really. You were doing what any boyfriend would have done in a situation like this, but the hard thing for you and I is. Our girlfriends are Shinobi as well. Which means they have the same training and lifestyle we do. We will all end up doing crazy things that will get us hurt. I promise you though, as your friend, that I will make sure Hana-chan always comes back in one piece." Smiling his cat like smile that caused him to squint his eyes shut and bare his own canines he heard the familiar growl of Kore. Looking down from his rock he smiled at his friend. "Hey Kore, Did Senritsu give up on beating you? Well stick around. We will get something to eat soon."
Now studying the situation Hana- chan was in there was only one place she could go that would lead to her being safe and closer to undoing his ties, but now that Tanu's entire squad was here, he couldn't attack her. Kore was here as well but he was not of genin caliber yet so he would walk away with more injures then anything. And with no Baki around it meant food would be scarce for Ruha and himself. "Alright Hana-chan, lets try to finish this up so we can get you out of there. Took one step forwards, two steps to the left, one step forwards, two steps to the right, and three steps forward."

Hanabira blushed slightly at Shin's outburst and could only imagine Natamo holding him back. She knew that Shin and Kane-nii were very protective of her and cared for her very much, but if she had ever wanted to be a kunoichi she'd have to break away from their protective circles in order to grow. Karite had given out a lot of instructions for Hanabira to follow, but she repeated them to herself quickly and had them memorized. Taking the same size steps as she had before, Hanabira made it to the end of the course. "Am I good?" she asked Karite before moving again.

Karite looked down in front of him and the path seemed to be clear of anything that would harm Hana. So Karite assumed that she was clear to untie him. He could attack Tanu yet because she was with her squad, but he wondered how hard it would be to break into her room and kidnap her in the middle of the night. He was starting to become evil. He was beginning to like the menacing feel. "Alright Hana-chan, you did great up until this point. Now here comes the easy part. Take five steps forward and you should be close enough to untie me."

Tanu thought it was probably good that Shin was so tall since it would take him less time to climb. The Nara seemed clumsy most of the time and kind of slow, so his height in this exercise would be an advantage to all of them! Tanu was glad since she tended to get fiery when impatient. As Tanu got her laughter under control after seeing the look on Kiba's face, she continued to climb, but as she did she caught wind of the scent of the sloth. "That thing reeks!" the girl said taking one hand off the ladder in order to plug her nose. "Help us by moving downwind for crying out loud!" Tanu shouted at Kiba as she dug her face into the side of her shoulder. The smell of the lagoon was better than the smell of that sloth!

Shin let out a small sigh as Tanu made a scence about the animal smelling. "It can't be that bad," Shin said, noting that Kiba hadn't complained about the smell and the sloth was wrapped around his neck. "Zuka's kind of cute!" Shin said with a smile, knowing just how much of a softy he was sounding since he was a fifteen year old boy calling something 'cute'. Reaching up to the next ring, Shin made it up to where Tanu was and then looked back down. The rings were getting farther apart now and with that sloth, Kiba was bound to have a hard time. "Let me help you a bit," Shin said reaching down to hold out his hand to Kiba. He wasn't sure if it would help more or hinder him more, but Shin would offer nevertheless.
