Luniya watched as Usrah took a seat next to her. She turned only her eyes toward him and listened to Usrah speak of his brother, but continued to eat. He must have really admired him because he spoke of him so much. When Usrah mentioned his brother was a werewolf, Luniya's ears perked up. His brother was suddenly more interesting now.
"Really? He is really strong isn't he? I would love to meet someone like him, even better if he was handsome. I bet he has the cutest fur." Luniya realized she was getting a bit carried away. She was blushing a bit too, which is unusual for her. "I'm so sorry Usrah," she apologized as she turned her head and licked her lips. She attempted to hand him a piece of meat. She didn't want to, but figured it was the the least she could do after he told her about his brother. "Here have some, it's really good. At least to werewolves it is," she paused thinking a while.
"You know, I have a little sister and two brothers back at home. They are so optimistic about life. I find myself trying to be like them sometimes. We have so much fun together, even though we had a rough time after the accident. They are amazing, just like your brother sounds." Luniya put on a soft smile and stretched her arm around Usrah's broad shoulders. "hey Usrah," she said in his ear devilishly,"if you eat this meat you'll, crave wild animals and even human flesh for two weeks." She wondered if he would actually believe her. If he did, she could have more meat for herself.

((I will be unable to post until either Sunday or Monday as I will be in Minnesota attending my cousin's wedding.))
Usrah chuckled ar Luniya's curiosity about Elgarez.
"Indeed, he is very strong and he must be attractive since he has had many lovers over the course of his life."
He shook his head at her apology.
"Do not worry about it."
He listened to her short description about her siblings and was slightly surprised when she put her arms on him. He listened to her whisper and chuckled again.
"That one is a classic. It is older than my brother. I know you want your food, so do not worry about giving me any of it."

Ashe listened to the wind and the voices around her. She ruled out Luniya and Usrah's conversation because she felt she was eavesdropping on them. She did keep one ear on Rok and Contri, her hands ready by her sword if needed. The other ear and her nose was trained on the two paths. She didn't like the scent coming form them. She moved behind Rok and whispered to only him. "Once he gives the ring we'll be holding the contest." She then spoke up. "I don't know where your taking us, Lin, but I think this is a well enough place here. We're not to far from the horses and there is plenty of room to move about. I say we have our contest of speed here." She eyed Contri, "What say you?"

Luniya was at a loss for words. She didn't know what was so funny either. But at least Usrah was laughing.
She thought her little trick would work. Of course he seen through her trick and didn't mind that she was being a little selfish. When Usrah first came along he was a show-off; he seemed different now. She was still happy that she got to eat all of her meat. Especially without anyone asking for it. "Oh, thanks you must know how much I love my food," she smiled at him. Well, Usrah does has a personality. He is finally showing it. She realized her arm was still around him and jerked back. "Oh, excuse me Usrah. I forgot you don't really like being touched."
By the time she apologized to Usrah once again, Ashe was ready to go. Luniya was curious to see how fast she was.

Usrah shook his head once more as Luniya removed her arm.
"It is not that I do not like to be touched, but being touched by a woman brings back memories. Good memories."
He heard that Ashe was prepared for the contest. He had fought many dragons before and most were not very agile at all. Perhaps Ashe was an exception to the typical dragon and was blessed with speed. Regardless, the event would make for an interesting show.

As Tyr drew further and further from the group and closer and closer towards the presence Ferghall had smelled, she began to realize there were certian... drawbacks to going it alone. Tyr had never been without an animal of some sort with her at all times since she was a tiny child, and when she had developed such a strong bond with Ferghal she had done all things in her power to keep him safe and with her at all times; she needed his sense of smell to find her way, she needed his super strong ears to walk. Even with just that small gap between them she felt like she was missing half of herself. If it came to a fight she would undoubtedly lose, there was no way she could win without Ferghall by her side.
She slowed down to a walk as she grew closer to where Ferghall had pinpointed one of the groups. The feeling in her stomach was growing to the point where it was weighing her down and making her feel sick. Tyr felt like she might puke at any moment the danger was so twisting. The only thing that calmed her was her faith in her abilities; thief skills made her as silent as a cat, being as nervous as she was made her almost invisable, and being half-elf just helped those skills.
Ferghall? You know why I left you, right? It's because I want you to make sure they don't go anywhere, and I need you to warn them somehow if something happens to me. She told the fox, pausing, needing the sound of his thoughts to give her the courage to go just a little further. Couldn't you've just sent me? I can't talk, genius, how are they supposed to hear me warning them? Ferghall snorted back as his reply, rolling his eyes as he watched the male elf and the dragon preparing themselves. Because; I'd die if anything happened to you. She told him with a slight mental giggle, even cracking a smile as she stepped forward again, ready to continue.
Ferghall snorted again, his fur fluffing up and his eyes narrowing on the group before me. Oh yeah, and life without you would be a blast. He snapped sarcastically back at Tyr, angirly turning to his fur and licking his shoulder as if it were far more intresting than anything else in an effort to ignore Tyr's warm and cuddly thoughts.

Contri looked up at Rok without a second thought. He was calm and did not frighten as easily as he had hoped. He put his hand over his head but not towards Rok’s hand.
“I think not. I don’t simply lend out my rings, just as I’m sure you’re not willing to lend out your axe. You already have my wand and that’s fair enough. If you want them, you’ll have to pry them off my cold dead fingers.”
He closed his hand making a fist.
“Besides none of these cast offensive spells or increase my speed. They simply protect me against magic spells such as fire, ice, lightning, et cetera.”
He turned around putting his hands down and walked towards Ashe. The wind had started to die down, his hair no longer flowing as strongly as it did. It would be the perfect time for the contest and he was ready to get this over with.
“Everyone that is not involved stand away, I’m ready.”

Luniya was surprised that Usrah would say something like that. The male elf was ready to race and so was Ashe. Luniya stayed stood up and went lean against a tree. She was anxious to see them race. "Good memories... It's nice to have them,"she said looking into the clouds.

Flint hopped onto a nearby tree branch, which happened to be right over where Luniya was about to sit, to get a better view of what was going to happen. He leaned on the tree branch itself, watching the two below. Seemed like such a trivial matter, he would have tossed a coin to decide whether to let the elf go or to kill him. He stretched out as he heard Luniya talking to herself. "I agree" he said absently, looking down at her. He leaned to the side and hooked his feet around the branch so he would hang upside down. He spoke in a low voice so only Luniya could hear. "This crossed my mind once...If that Elder guy lived about 9000 years or so...and all he thought about was sad stuff, imagine...I would most likely go insane after the first year...maybe 2." he said quietly.

Although he hated to allow Contri to best him, Rok stood aside, still glaring at the elf. He only trusted Contri as much as the elf could throw his heavy minotaur body, and that added up to next to no trust in his heart for the male elf.
"I don't like this," he snarled, standing beside Luniya and Flint.

Luniya nodded in agreement to Flint. He was in the trees almost as if he were monkey. Flint was very agile for such a little guy. She leaned on the tree Flint was hanging over, and looked at him upside down. She winked at him, than Rok spoke again. "It's okay Rok, I actually don't see the point in all this," she replied to Rok.

Actually slightly more comfortable, strangely, than he was before, sitting on the branch, Flint looked at the two figures getting ready. "Neither do I" he said to Rok. "I would have tossed a coin, heads or tails, whatever the elf picked, if he missed, would lose, or pretty much die" he said simply, shrugging as best he could upside down.

((Hey, Demidom, would you mind controlling Contri's men? It's been two days, and I kinda wanna do more than walk around in the woods sneaking up on them. I can't do anything until I know what they're doing.))

[My bad I'll get right on that. I thought about it last night, but I forgot and I was really tired. I'll get a post up within the hour.
Sorry my cable went out right after I posted this.]
Up ahead the path Tyr was traveling through was full of trees and rather large rocks. An Elvin black mage stood at the base of the path dressed in rags. He appeared to be a homeless man holding a bottle of booze. His face was rugged and hairy. He wasn’t even wearing a mage hat. His staff was tucked away in his ragged clothing. Further up the path there were large boulders on each side. On those boulders hidden in the rocks were small cracks down the center, barely visible to the naked eye. Two female elfs stood in the boulders, one on each side. They were both highly trained archers, hidden yet still in line of sight around the hobo looking mage. Another elf sat far away in the nearby trees, holding a starge device that allowed him to see vast distances. He was the look out. His powers were different than the others but none of them seemed useful. Of course there were other traps in the area, aside from the four Elves.
“Lavian what is your status?” Noore, the archer on the left spoke.
“Everything appears calm. Deltia how’s it looking? You are paying attention right?”
The forth Elf, the look out, peered through his vision device. He was dressed in thin armor that looked as if he was some form of royalty, but in reality he just liked the way it looked. He was a warrior but his talents were not that of swordsmanship. He excelled in something else.
“I see a girl, she’s approaching now, looks to be a half elf. Judging by her appearance I’d say she’s a thief at best. Get ready. Remember our orders. Don’t kill her just yet; I want to get my hands on her.”
The other three nodded in agreement and began to get ready for the newcomer.
