TNL laughed, "A spark, eh?" How fitting. I like this Regina. He sighed, "Sorry, I'm new as well. In fact, I have yet to move in, kind of wandering around at the moment. I came up here, I'm from Texas, by the way, to live at some institute around here, but I have yet to go there." I guess I'm over the smooth part of the conversation. "But I've seen a good amount of the city. Anything I could help you with?"

She wants to take me to her hotel room already? TNL chuckled slightly, then said, "Aren't starbucks always open, not to mention everywhere?" He realized the other guy she was with, Reese, wasn't paying too much attention, as TNL hadn't paid too much attention to him. "Getting away from this club though would be great, and coffee sounds better."

"And just to clarify mista, I meant for me and Reese to change into clothing a little more outting appropriate... I think we'd be the ones drawing attention in these clothes in a coffee shop." Regina said with a grin, making fun.

About twenty minutes later found Regina, Reese and TNL walking down the sidewalk from the hotel toward one of the numerous Starbucks. She was pretty sure that Reese was tagging along to make sure that TNL didnt' pull anything, but she didn't sense anything dangerous from him. If anything, he was more mischevious than dangerous.

Noko grinned and jumped up. Heading to the bathroom she changed back into her clothes while john changed as well. Coming back out in her clubbing outfit she grinned her hair now showing what she had done to it. " You like the haircut? cause its real...Not a shift." she said as she gathered up a few things" lets just walk and see whats open. " she mused not waiting for an answer.

TNL's forehead wrinkled slightly, "It sounds familiar... I recall hearing something about it." He paused a moment, "...and that's where you live? I heard that that is where some mutants make home around here." TNL looked at the ground momentarily, not trying to look ashamed or nothing, but instead trying to hide his eyes which he knew would be flaring orange with the idea of this gorgeous girl being a mutant as well.

beep... beep... beep
Skarlet concentrated harder on the sounds around her, but was only able to make out the insistent beeping of a monitor somewhere to her left. Her head began to throb as she forced her eyes open. The bright light shone seemingly twelve times brighter to her tired eyes, and she tried to find her barings. No, she thought I definitely do not know this place. She took a few staggering breaths as she concentrated on calming her nerves. She looked around what was obviously a very nice hospital room. She noticed that near the entrance there were catscan charts hanging neatly on display. They were hers; she had seen enough of those charts in her life to know that much. Glancing to her side briefly, she noticed a folder filled with papers and pictures. Not even stopping to think, she ignored the frieght train in her head and began flipping through the pages. It was her life. Everything. From her birth certificate right on up to the letters her teachers had sent her home with. Why would anyone want to stalk me? she thought. Skarlet quickly concluded that there had to be another explanation, but the weight of the blistering headache pulled her back down into the bed where she slipped back into an unconscious state.

TNL looked back up at her, sure his eyes were pretty well orange. He had stopped blushing a while ago, and although he liked his odd eyes, which were normally violet, sometimes they were a hastle. "Yeah, I'm a mutant." He noticed the alteration in her voice. "Don't worry, nobody can hear us... sound alteration is part of my power." He grinned, feeling both relieved and a little awkward, for he had never revealed himself to anybody outside his family and Greg, especially to another mutant. Yet, it felt good.
