BurningTheory Oh, thats easy! Singing Boheimian Raphsody with the rest of the bus We did that song in our last marching show. ^__^ We always do rock shows now, 'tis awesome. Anyway, on the bus I try to sit next to people I know so I can talk to them... or I listen to music... or I sleep. If other people are singing, I'll sing. Annnd... that's about it.

lol, bohemian happened a lot with me too! mostly anyone who had small instrument would take them out and play. I had piccolo so I got the honours of starting the music.

we have sing-a-longs. i'm on the perc/guard bus, so we have a beat and a choir to go with it! this year's song was "jeremiah was a bullfrog"

We play ABC game, listen to music, sing, to the SCREW game, talk and other things happen on the band bus...secret things that i'm not a part of but you always see it when you least expect it. On our last competition my friend and I sat together and watched GREASE on my portable DVD player and sang the songs... our director thought we were crazy

We do all sorts of fun stuff on the bus, just depending on our mood and how many people are sleepy. Usually we sing, play cards, indulge in large value bags of candy, and chuck things at rookies.

Oh man, the band bus is the place to be alright. There were two guys sitting in the back, they were sleeping. My friend went and poured water into their mouths since they were hanging open. It was soo hilarious. I think the band bus is a lot of fun...hehe. Great way to get bond with your lurver xD

Our top band bus tradition is singing. At least on the Wind Ensemble bus. All the horn players sing a pep band song at the top of our lungs, and the percussionists whip out their drumsticks and play their parts on the seats. Most of the time we forget our parts halfway through, so we'll kinda get quiet for a minute until someone starts up another song. XD If by chance we DO make it through, we applaud ourselves wildly. This continues until we run out of songs. XD
We also sing the jigalo song, and play Egyptian Rat Screw, and hold giant Pictochats on DS. It's good times. XD We've also watched movies on portable DVD players and such. Heck, there's a LOT we've done, I just can't remember all of it.

We only have 2 busses - one for equipment, one for people to ride.

we get 6 busses and i play for Sequoyah high school...we usually sing or play games..most of the time we yell at the cars passing by..well i g2g PM me if you wanna talk about band and stuff heart

Well...last year we had a 7 hour drive. From East Pennslyvania to Cedar Point Ohio.
Part of the time we had a food fight/ate food. With cheese wiz n crackers...those are the 2 most important band trip foods

One for the concert band, one for the wind ensemble. Of course, we probably could fit both bands on one bus, it'd just be really cramped and not a good idea....

Our band has a movie contest at the end of the year, and each away game this year, I brought my Camcorder. I don't like it when people sleep on my bus so i've created the....... Slap cam...... If you sleep..... I will find you and slap you to wake you up...... Its a good form of comic relief when people try to yell at you when still half a sleep, and then you get to show them when there awake.

Our band also does all that random stuff...DVD players, drumming, etc. We only have two buses also. It's kinda sad though, like, only 7 are on one bus on the way back, and everyone else is on the other one. But it's way funner that way...^_^

my band is so small we use 1 school bus. All the percs. sit in the back and scream random songs (i.e. Love shack ((lol they would always scream it at the b.d))) and when they would win an award for best percussion it was always the perc. song the whole way home
