“Let’s go outside and I’ll teach you the technique,” Fubuki said. They went outside and went to his backyard were a bunch of dummies and a few stumps stood. “I practice here occasionally,” Fubuki said. “So when are we going to learn the technique,” Seki said. “Well, first thing you should no is unlike the water prison jutsu you don’t need to do anything to hold it. You can walk away from it to fight other opponents. Second, you need to be close range; it doesn’t work in the distance. Now I’ll show you the hand signs,” Fubuki said. He went through a series of hand signs and made the announcement. His hand was close to the wooden stump and suddenly, it was incased in ice. “Now you try,” Fubuki said. Seki got close to the stump and made the hand signs and made the announcements. Suddenly, the stump was incased in ice. “Good job, Seki, you’ve mastered the basics,” Fubuki said.

“What? The basics,” Seki said confused. Fubuki laughed at this. “Yes, there is announcer thing you can do with this techniques. You can made an ice barrier to block you’re opponents attack. I want you to throw a kunai at me,” Fubuki said. “Ok,” Seki said. He grabbed a kunai and threw it quickly at Fubuki. Fubuki who had been making the signs, said, “Ice Prison Technique!” A wall of ice appeared in front of Fubuki blocking the kunai. “That’s cool!” Seki said. “Now you try,” Fubuki said. Seki went through the hand signs while almost instantly Fubuki did the same. “Ice Prison Technique,” Seki said. “Snow Storm Swallows,” Fubuki said. At this a wall of ice appeared in front of Seki and a bunch of mini-swallow ice needles headed towards Seki. The swallows hit the ice wall, the ice wall blocking the attack. “Well, congratulation, you’ve master Ice Prison Technique,” Fubuki said. “Well, goodbye,” Seki said. He walked away from the house, realizing he was starving again.

Seki was walking along the edge of the village; the sun was at 2 hours past noon. The day was warmer than usual in these parts. Some of the snow was melting. He suddenly pulled out a list from his pocket and started reading through them. “Let’s see, I’ve done Kunai practice, Lunch, dummy practice, second lunch. Well, it still hasn’t gotten to night yet,” Seki said. He put his hand to his head in confusion.

“Let’s see I could go hiking, maybe some rock climbing too,” he said. He started walking entering the forest trail. The trees were covered in snow and the path was wet and slippery. “Well, let’s see. To get myself warmed up I should climb a tree,” Seki said. He grabbed onto the first branch that wasn’t that far up and put his foot on the bark. He started climbing and after about 10 minutes he was at the top.

The top of the forest was beautiful. It was covered in snow that sparkled like diamonds. The tops of the mountains in the distance gleamed brilliantly with majestic beauty. Suddenly, an explosion was heard in the distance. At the base of the mountain was a cloud of smoke. After that came another one, but this time Seki saw a bunch of small rocks being flung into the air. Seki jumped down from the tree preparing the check it out.

As he got down he ran to the mountain were the sound has came from. The trees that went by him were like a blur. His heart rushed from adrenalin. “Is they’re a fight going on or someone attacking something,” Seki said. Seki who was not paying attention suddenly ran into a tree hitting his head. At this collision he fell down on his back the pain only getting worse. Everything started going black.

Suddenly, Seki woke up with a start. The sun was at the four o’clock position. “What happened,” Seki said in a daze. He then remembered he was heading for the noise and he hit a tree with his head. “Are you ok, kid,” a man voice said. Seki turned around to see a man with a stern face and black hair standing behind him. “Who are you?” Seki asked. “I’m Kazahana Dotou. Who are you,” the man said. “I’m Hitami Seki,” Seki said standing up. “Well, you had quit a hit. How did you get it,” Dotou said. “I bumped into a tree trying to see what all that noise was from the mountains,” Seki said, nervously laughing. “That was me kid,” Dotou said.

“What that was you?” Seki asked. “Yes, I was practicing my jutsus. If you want I can teach them to you,” Dotou said. “What really! Thanks,” Seki said hugging him. “Yes, the jutsu I’m going to teach you is called Black Dragon Blizzard,” Dotou said. “What’s it do,” Seki asked. “It created a black dragon with red eye that headed towards your opponent. It’s pretty powerful,” Dotou said. “So when can we do it,” Seki said. “Soon,” Dotou replied.

They headed towards the mountain’s edge taking the forest path. When they finally got there a bunch of rumble from boulders had been destroyed. A few boulders remained that were smaller than the marks the previous boulder had left. “Ok, first you must learn the hand signs,” Dotou said. He went slowly through the hand signs and said, “Repeat!” Seki went through the hand signs slowly this time. “Again, now faster,” Dotou said. Seki went through the hand signs again and at a faster pace.

After about ten times of this, Dotou said, “Now we can get onto the technique.” “Really,” Seki said happily realizing he could finally get to the move. “Yes, now pick a boulder and repeat what I do,” Dotou said. Dotou and him aligned to two boulders that were close together. Dotou made a bunch of hand signs for the technique and said, “Black Dragon Blizzard!” Suddenly, a black dragon appeared with red eyes that headed towards the boulder. It crashed into the boulder, the boulder cracking and a bunch of stone from it showing onto the ground. “Now you try, Seki,” Dotou said. Seki went through the hand signs and said, “Black Dragon Blizzard!” A black dragon the same as Dotou’s headed towards the rock crashing into it and destroying it. “Good job, there is nothing more I can teach you about this jutsu,” Dotou said. “What’s so I’m finished. Well, bye,” Seki said. He had already ran off after Dotou’s words. “I can’t wait to have delicious ramen when I get back home,” Seki said, hungry from running and learning the new jutsu.

Seki had just gotten out of bed. The time read on the clock 5 o’clock AM. “Well, time to get prepared for the day,” Seki said. He headed to the washroom in his house and entered. After 30 minutes of showering, Seki left dressed in his usual clothes. He headed to his weapon’s closet and opened it. The closet was filled with a level for kunai and shuriken and a few windmill shuriken. He looked around and grabbed ten kunai, 30 shuriken, and 5 windmills. “That should do it?” Seki said.

As Seki came to the door, he put on his specially designed boots. They were prepared with sharp spikes that gripped into snow and ice to prevent slipping or falling. He got out some show polisher because they were covered in mud and rubbed it on, the dirt falling off. “Well, now to breakfast,” Seki said. He left the house, going down the street and turning to a road with a nice diner. Seki came to the door and entered the diner. It had a nice smell of fresh bacon with a person at the cash register and 2 waiters and a cook in the kitchen. He could only see the cook’s hat though.

As Seki entered, he sat down at the nearest seat. He looked around scanning the area. The dinner was complete empty except for him and the staff. “What would you like, kid,” the waiter said. “I’m a genin so don’t call me kid,” Seki said. “Sorry,” the waiter said in a sarcastic voice. “I’ll take the waffles,” Seki said annoyed. After this the waiter left and thirty minutes later he brought the waffles. Seki ate them quietly, listening to the 2 chunnin that had just entered. “That was a tough mission,” the first one said. “Yah, but I’m glad were back from that trip,” the other one said. They were quiet after that.

After finished his waffles, Seki paid the casher and left. He walked down the street going to the forest where he usually practiced with his weapons. He passed by several buildings. He saw a weapon’s shop that he had seen once before. He also saw the meat show where he first saw Ice Prison Technique. He went past announce building and heard some sounds of battling. At this he headed that way, going towards the sound. He finally turned down a street where the sound was coming from.

At the end of the street was a basic training ground. It was lined with a wire fence and a latch door to get in. They were about 6 chunnin and a total of 3 genin practicing there. The sides were lined with stumps for substitution jutsu, and a bunch of practice dummies. It also had a small pond for water walking. Seki walked to it opening the gate and entering. “New here, kid,” a chunnin said. “Yah, I’ve never been here before,” Seki said. “Well, practice anywhere you like, it’s free and it helps us keep stead with basic jutsu’s and weapons practice,” the chunnin said.
