About 5~ish. When I go to sectionals (Which isn't very often...), we have to cram all the Clarinets, Flutes, and sometimes Saxes into our pathetically small Ensemble room -.- Fun I know. Anyway, the Flutes are space hogs, and in this incredibly small room, space is an issue. So we smack our flutes against stands, chairs, our friends heads and other instruments, creating a lot of dents on our instruments. sweatdrop

Lets see.... No. Hehe, I slouch when I practice, about the only time I actually look good is when I am performing for something.

My lesson teacher says I have awesome dynamics. :3 I just... don't really use them... sweatdrop

Soprano saxophone. I mean c'mon, it looks like a freaken Clarinet, not a Sax.

Yes and no. I tap my toe for like the first 5 measures of a song, then forget I'm tapping my toe, and just kinda... stop.
20.Least liked section?
Trumpets. (No offense to Trumpet players) But our Trumpet players are freakishly loud, which usually makes them out of tune, and a loud out of tune Trumpet isn't fun.

I don't really hate them. But since we are the Flutes, we get the most drama, which is sometimes really annoying.

Well, when I started I was beyond the point in love with band, and over the years I just kinda... lost interest. Right up to the point when I hit High School which renewed my love for it, so I guess I'm just a band geek, who's in band.
25. How long does it take you to set up your instrument?
...30 seconds. Probably the most hassle I have is unzipping the case...
26. Do you practice, or are you talented enough were you don't have to? or are you just lazy and have no talent so your like last chair?
Unfortunately, I don't practice worth the crap, but seem to be really good. sweatdrop I don't really think that's a good thing, my lessons teacher says i I practiced more, i'd me soo much better...

Most of my friends are in band, probably cause I spend the most time in the band hall and on the marching field... I have other friends that aren't in band, but it's hard to keep in contact with them, if I don't have a class with them.

Thankfully no.

Black. Black. -band director voice- You all must wear black. -end voice- Yea, basically that's what we have. Guys wear Tuxes, and Girls have to wear something mostly black. I just usually wear a button down shirt (black, duh), black slacks, and a colorful tank top. :3

We had a massive fall during marching band, where the Flutes were all in a straight line moving down the field, and one of the first flutes tripped... Yea, domino effect. Luckily I had missed that practice. :3

Oh god, so many. There's "Save the Pit" (which got emblazoned on t-shirts and buttons shortly after it occurred) where we were practicing on one side of the field during band camp, and then all of a sudden we hear the BD screaming over the microphone "SAVE THE PIT!! RUN, MY CHILDREN, RUN!!" because the sprinklers had turned on where the Pit equipment had been set up and was getting everything wet. Oh, and the one where BD told the freshmen our new uniforms were gonna be bright yellow with a thick white line in the middle and we were gonna rename ourselves the Marching Twinkies and they believed him. XD

I tripped when going down the stairs and my case followed me down (smacking me on teh head, too, once I'd landed). I've dropped it, it's gotten crushed between people sophomore year when I tripped over Amy who'd tripped over Patrick, and then Jessica in front of me tripped over me and Che in front of her tripped over her. So, yeah, 200+ pounds of weight on me and my poor clarinet. OH, and that one competition where it started raining just as we started marching, and then stopped right when we finished. Oh, that was awesome. Killer on my pads though.

Iono. I look like a little Asian girl playing the clarinet. O_o

SL said I had really good tone. (If you don't know my SL, that is an amazing compliment.)

Concert dress is black/white dress shirt, black pants/skirt, navy blue/black tie for boys, shiny black shoes, and black socks (which are a major pet peeve for my BD. He hates people who wear white socks with black shoes). Marching band is just tanks and shorts and whatever keeps us cool.

hahhhhh. well.. they respect me as their section leader at least.

i'm a huge band geek.

not counting warming up? i can do it in about 30 seconds if i'm in a hurry.

i don't have the natural talent. i have to practice my a** off. but i love what i'm doing and working hard really pays off.

marching - traditional marching band uniform. white, black, and orange.
symphonic - second band wears the marching uniforms minus the hats. and first band the girls wear a really ugly black dress and the guys wear a black tux
