Kei looked at him and did not say another word but a small nod.
"Yes, you can give me back my Death Note and I will be gone, and you will never hear from me again," Kei said.
Kei did not pay attention to what the outside world was saying, she kept her focus on her main object in her mind.
If he does, then I am free to go back to the Shinigami realm and return all notebooks to the King. Then talk to him about seeing if I can become a full-fledged human. Once I do, then I can finally die happily, and if I die while being human, I will still be haunted, but I am sure that James Hawkins and Amaya will know that I just human, but still kill me probably. It's a risk to take, Kei thought to herself looking a bit discouraged.

"Really, I just could give back you're Death Note and you will be gone?" Katsu said.
He felt confused but did not say another word. He kept a half focus on her, but something was still wrong. He tried to understand but could not figure it out.

"Yes, I will be gone, and there will be no more deaths done prematurely. However, if you don't want to give up the Death Note, just burn it, or pass it on, since it's yours," Kei said to Katsu.
She could tell that he was confused and she tried to make things simple for him as best as she could.
"Just give me the Death Note and I will leave you be," Kei said looking directly into Katsu eyes.

"Hold on, I will be right back," Katsu said politely.
Quickly Katsu ran to his room and got the Death Note hidden from public eye and just in case emergencies. He came back with the Death Note in his hands.
"According to the ghost of Sapphire Johnson, she said she wanted to get rid of you for some reason, and I believe she tried but failed. And now, you are telling me you want this notebook back? What would you be doing with it, if I gave it back to you?" Katsu questioning Kei.
Katsu feeling harsh, but he needed answers and the only way he would get answers is to question the only one who knows more about it than anyone else on the planet, and that person was Kei.

After Sapphire's death, there was a new face in Japan. This girl who had shown up was Sapphire's friend Angel Williams. She found out about Sapphire's death from someone through an e-mail she received 2 days ago. So, she went to Sapphire's house it see if she was really died.

"Once I get it back, I will go away to give it to the one who gave it to me 25 years ago. Then after that, I want to become a full-fledged human, but since my parents are gone, like yours, maybe I can find some rest," Kei said looking at feeling downcast.
Katsu's expression was the same, but she felt that he didn't want the Death Note at all.
"I want you to know that, if I do die, anytime, you are the owner of my Death Note, and no one else may have it," Kei said trying to keep a limited seriousness to her voice. "So, please, burn it or return it to me, so this nightmare can end," Kei suggested.

As Angel reaches Sapphire's house, she sees a noose hanging above the porch. She takes the noose and sets it on fire, leaving nothing but ash.
"What is a noose doing here," she wondered." I know Sapphire wouldn't commit suicide...unless she was being controlled by something or someone."
"There's a possibility that she was," said a man's voice. When Angel turned around, she saw a young man who was about in his 20's. He walked up to her and introduced himself. "Hi there. My name Touta Matsuda. You must be Angel Williams, right?"
"Yes, I am." She said." Are you from Japan's police department?"
"Yes," Matsuda said. "Are you a relative of Sapphire Johnson?"
"No," Angel said. "Sapphire was my best friend."
"What do you know about her?" Matsuda asked her.
"Years ago," she started to say."Her dad died from being shot by gang members. She was also following the Kira case before she moved here. She also wanted to find her father's killer and bring him to justice."
"Interesting," said Matsuda."Is there anything else you know?"
"Not really." Angel said. "Um...Mr. Matsuda, please tell me something. Who is Kira? And how has he been able to kill people?"
"There were many people who was suspected of being Kira and they're all dead." Matsuda told her."But, there was only one person who fitted Kira's profile perfectly."
"Who was that?" Angel asked.
"Light Yagami."
Light Yagami. That name sounds familiar.Angel thought.So all this time Light Yagami was Kira and now he's dead. Heh. I guess that serves him right. Angel asked Matsuda how Light was killing people as Kira without laying a finger on his victims.
"He used some kind of a supernatural notebook call a Death Note. This kind of notebook can kill anyone when you write down their names. You just have to have to their face in your mind when you're writing their names down." Matsuda explained to her.

Confused, but Katsu hands over her Death Note without anymore hesitation. He tried to make sure that this nightmare will end. As he handed over the Death Note, the brief memories with it seemed disappeared.
That was strange, and who is this girl talking to me? Do I know her, she does look familiar, but I shouldn't press it Katsu thought to himself.
"Here you go, you can have this Death Note," Katsu said and lead her to the outside of his house.

For a few minutes, Angel felt silent. So, Sapphire died because of the Death Note. If that's the case I'm sure there are shinigami that are involved in this.
"Um, Mr. Matusda," Angel started to say.
"Yes?" Matsuda replied.
"Are shinigami really real? And if they are, do they have any connection with the Death Note?" Angel asked. Angel want to be sure that her friend's death wasn't a coincidence.
"Yes," Matsuda said, looking straight at her." Shinigami are real. And from what the task force discovered, shinigami use the Death Note to add the remaining lifespan of a human for their own."
"OK," Angel said. "Thank you for clearing that up for me. Goodbye."
After Angel waves goodbye to Matsuda, she starts to walk away thinking about what she's going to do.
Since Sapphire had a Death Note, I'm sure her shinigami is alive and has the Death Note. Angel continuing walking and started to cry. Her best friend in the world was gone forever and it was all thanks to Kira/Light and the shinigami who took her life.This has all been one big nightmare, she thought.No more Death Notes. All they cause is nothing but misery. Angel went back to America and never came back to Japan again.

Overjoyed, Kei walked out of Katsu's house and started to walk back to her house. As she walked, her heart raced with anticipation for getting her Death Note back and she can finally make a decision, an important one, to be human once again or stay a shinigami for the rest of her life.
The Death Note had some good uses and now chaos was just beginning and ended in such a short time. It doesn't matter now, I can finally dispose of all usage of it...or, I could keep it and lie to the shinigami king and tell him that I lost it, and I will try to find it, but would it work? No, I will return it and ask if I can still be a half-breed until I am certain Kei thought to herself as she walked into her house.
The night seemed forever as she tried to get some sleep, but she felt restless. As tired as she was, she went over to her computer to check her email to see if school was going to resume. Sure enough, an email.
"ATTENTION: All Students and Staff. School will resume on only half days starting on Monday, and will continue to further notice. That is all."
Great, so we resume on Monday... Kei said to herself.
Kei turns off her computer and goes back to bed. Hoping for a good nights rest.
