Dante was satisfied with the "companionable silence". He went about taking bits of some of the food and sipping the wine or tea to wash it down.

Chance glanced up and grinned briefly before going back to his food. He drank the wine sparingly - it was a little sweet - and more tea.

Dante's tail flicked as he had finished and was more than content with the fill o food. "It's nice to be hungry ~" Smirking lightly the waiter came over to place the bill on the table.

Chance finished his plate and was pleasantly full. Sometimes it was nice to "starve" because when one was full again, the sensation would be more satisfying. He nodded with a faint smile to Dante. Yes, it was very nice to be full... He glanced at the waiter then slid the bill over to look it over. After a mental calculation he fished his wallet out of a back pocket and put down enough money for their meal and a nice tip.
(( ... which I can't do. I don't math well. x_X; ))

The wolf watched silently giving a small sigh. Then he finished off the little bit of tea in his cup, "Thank you for dinner."

Chance glanced up at Dante and flashed a smile at him. "No problem." He finished the tea in his cup. "Did you want to get going, or stick around for a little while? I bought the whole bottle, so you can take it with."

Dante of course wouldnt pass up the opportunity to take the wine but he glanced at Chance. "You sure? You didnt like it?" Probably not ~ Tail flicking he slid the bottle to himself. On occasions, when he came, this was what he got. Sweet stuff wasnt always bad...
As for what to do now.... "Mm... walks are good..." He didnt tend to linger long, and if they were at a table, he was worried they'd become victims of awkward silences as usual....

The unicorn merely smiled and waved at the bottle of wine. "It's yours. Do with it what you like." He was not about to say one way or another; he had gotten it for Dante. "Sounds good," he said, raising himself out of his seat.

Chance followed and held open the door when Dante opened it. He shrugged, realizing the wolf would likely not see the gesture. "Sure..." he smiled.

Dante didnt normally go on walks so he didnt have a set route or anything in mind and there wasnt a beach close by and the whole thing with strolls in the park... well, just seemed like it'd be okay. Dante murmured a thank you to Chance, though he waited till the other was out too before he actually started walking. Tail swishing he glanced up at the sky, not a cloud in the sky...

Chance followed the wolf's glance at at the sky as they started walking down the sidewalk on the way to the park. It was clear, like the night they first met. Technically it had been very early in the morning and the sky had been lightening, but he remembered the stars... and how cold it had been. It had seemed appropriate at the time. He grinned faintly but said nothing. Was there really anything to say?

Tail swishing Dante's ears flicked as he glanced at Chance then the park around them. Mm... yep. Dante remembered them meeting too, though he tried not to dwell on it. Personally, the wolf was fine with just having the company... Maybe its one of things where its okay not to talk sometimes? Like at dinner? Then again, he could just be over analyzing. Spotting the playground he pointed to it. "Do you swing?" Well... that sounded dumb.

He used to sometimes, with Canth... ah, those were innocent times. But Dante liked to swing, that was easily deduced. The unicorn shrugged and smiled. "Sure."

Dante's tail flicked as he glanced at Chance... He didnt really swing he just enjoyed sitting and dangling on them. Odd yes, but... yeah. Giving a nonchalant shrug he offered, "We dont have to. No biggy...." It had been idea, but then again maybe a walk was in need.
