Hearing the battle raiging on, her couch gets pushed back a bit but she just shrugs and keeps on reading.


This is one strange school if they trash a winter dance just to fight

Sighing at one particular part of the book she looks down at her hand as she turned the page and almost dropped the book again, her hands were glowing purple again!

Running to her coat she slipped out some gloves and gingerly put them on her hands, returning to her couch she picked up her book and continued reading, trying to distance herself from the world, she didn't want any drama today.

Rene slumped above the stairs to the stage. Pain was squeezing her back along with her body as a whole. Her lack of sleep made her feel like vomiting and her head was constantly being banged with more problems ((GAH! Everyone stop stealing my special ability PLEASE!! xp )) and a headache worsened it.

If Kurai had not already attacked, she probably would have tried to beat up Ky, even in her hysterical broken down state. Two people were near her but Rene paid them no mind.


"SHUT UUUUUUUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The crazed girl wailed over the thumping rythmic music and the conversing people. Her mind swirled and Rene gave up. She pointed out her arm and magically thick pickally vines sprouted themselves from the ground tp around Kurai and Ky's legs. The girl lay drenched with tears along on the stairs.

"thats kurai's sister...whats she doing here...."

Tiffany saw the attack Rene pulled off, it amazed her in a way

hhmmm....if kurai figured out that his village is destroyed..so should rene...

Tiffany stared at the siblings

but....it wasnt ky who slaughtered the village....it was the demons...i should know...because i was there.....

Tiffany didnt know what to think, everything was so confusing to her...what was she gonna do

((so did mai internet.. it died too..))

Kurai let out a forceful gasp of air as the jab went straight into his spinal cord. "OHaa!!!!" Kurai forced out. he then stumbled foward slowly as he kneeled down. "... you stupid lil weasle.." Kurai smirked as he turned his face. still he had one eye shut. He then stood up straight throwing his blade onto the floor. "Indifferent.." he said softly to himself and slowly he slowed his crazy puffs of air into a nothing. he then slowly unbuttoned his suit. "hmm.."

"Guess its easy for you to dodge attack." he said in a monotone voice. "In that case i should study your movements and only concentrate on you..." Kurai softly said as he kneeled down staring straight at Ky with one eye. he tossed the jacket to the side reavailng his normal street clothes. His head band tilted and fell over the shut eye. "Ky.. why didn't you tell me about this... me and Rene should have the right!" Kurai then ran twoards Ky swiftly each footstep tapped along the wooden dance floor. suddenlyhe was forced to a stop.

"Earth spell.." Kurai then turned to Rene. "Rene!?"

Ky smirked.

"That's more like it."

He crouched low sword held in both hands over his shoulder, pointing towards Kurai. Ky dashed at Kurai, but suddenly, something at his feet yanked him back. The stop was so surprsing that for a moment, he fell forward from his upper body momentum. Throwing his hand down, he caught himself in a crouch, watching curiously as the vines intertwined themselves around his feet. Glancing around for the source, Ky found Rene with her hands on the ground, appearing to be channeling the magic.

So she's got magic now too. tch, this is what I get for not keeping tabs on them

Ky looked back at Kurai, who seemed to be in the same position as he was. He took a deep breath and stood up, his senses still on alert so he would be ready to strike the moment the situation changed. He flashed small mirthless smirk.

"Heh, tell you? And be responsible for all this noise? Tell me, what would be the point of telling you? You and your sister would just go sobbing like you are now. You were better off being blissfully ignorant." The smirk faded and Ky's eyes took on a decidedly darker look. "Besides, what would you care. None of your familiy was in the village when it was destroyed. You and your sister abandoned us. It's not your village that was destroyed, it was mine."

From the crowd, two normal looking students came together, observing the fight like everybody else was.

"Do we strike?"

"No, he is still alert. We will wait a little longer. Once he is distracted, we will have his throat."

"What's it matter if they were people you knew? You left and you know in your heart that you never intended to return. If you never see somebody again, they're just as good as dead. It wouldn't have made any difference."

Ky let his own sword drop relaxed to the side, but still ready to strike at a moments notice. He looked around at the crowd. Something was stirring his instincts. Everything looked normal but something was amiss. It was like a splinter in the back of his mind ((w00t, go Matrix)), but he just couldn't put a finger on it.

Ky closed his eyes and spit to the side.

"tch, right. They couldn't handle your good looks so much that just looking at you made them hurl."

When Kurai mentioned the security guards however, Ky's eyes shot open. A wave of realization swept through him. That's what was bothering him. The faint scent of blood drifted in the air. The security guards were dead. No sooner had Ky finished the thought when seven figured simultaneously jumped out of the crowd, weapons barred, and charged at Ky.

Damnit!

Ky's sword was up and in a heartbeat. Grabbing the wooden blade, Ky yanked hard. The wooden cover slipped off to reveal a gleaming metal blade. Spinning his sword around him, Ky quickly severed the vine binding his legs and sidestepped just in time to avoid being cut in half by an enormous scythe. Ky jabbed the butt of his sword into the attacker's stomach, then spun around, the blade drawing blood as it cut into his attacker. The attacker staggered back, but was up again immediately. Ky barely had time to notice him, however because the other six were quickly closing down on him. Ky grabbed at the nearest one and hurled him towards another attacker, but a third attack managed to reach Ky before he could reestablish his defenses. Blood flowed from his arm as the attacker's swallow cut through it. Pain ricocheted through Ky's head, but he ignored it, slashing back at the swallow weilder, who jumped nimbly back. Ky had seen this speed and strength only one place in his life. The word screamed in his mind.

Majin...

The assailants Ky had downed were back on their feet and rushing in again. He was surrounded on all sides. Raising his sword over his head, Ky stabbed it into the ground.

"Demonic circle!"

A small circle of the same white hot energy Ky had attacked Kurai with earlier appeared around Ky and resonated outwards, pushing the attackers back. This bought Ky the time he needed to jump up to the rafters, where the narrow bars would make it easier to take the Majin on one at a time.

"Shoot!" Kurai grunted as he slammed his blade down into the vines. his aim was a bit off.. it hit the ground cracking a floor panel and caused an off guard Majin to get hit by the loose floor panel that shot up from the ground. It knocked him a senstive part of the head and knocked him out. 2 Majins turned about to see Kurai. The other 3 was already in pursit of Ky.

"heh.. oops.." Kurai said smiling. By then the other fallen one recovered and leaped up grabbing his sychte. One held a rope dart one held two katars and one held a strange claw on both fists.

"..." Kurai seeing he was a target quickly threw his headband over one of his eyes. "Confidence." Kurai whispered and took in a deep breath then he threw his sword into the plants and fingered twoards the 3. "come on." Kurai said smiling.

The 3 dashed forward at Kurai with a suprising speed. However cause of Kurai's mindset he was not overwhelmed by it. Once they stopped to attack Kurai could see them instead of being suprised he reacted by Giving off a huge punch in the face. "One hit!" Kurai yelled out excidiltly. And then quickly heard the other one appear behind him he twisted about.

"Tw--GAGH!!!" Kurai was sliced across the chest by the mans claw like weapon. even though he knew they were there they were still faster then him. Kurai stumbled backwards as he held his chest. 3 rips across his shirt. Kurai smirked. "Just a fleash wound.." but then he felt another painful tear this time in his back. "GAH!!" Kurai fell forward. Two slices from the katar was deeply gashed into his back. Kurai fell onto his knees. "ehh thatll recover..." Kurai then leaped to his feet and twirled about with his blade threatining them not to come close. He tried to keep an eye on each assasin.

"damn... this could be a too m\uch for me,..."
