Drake grabbed another thick cover and walked back up the stairs to Kinna's room. He opened the door and walked in. He stood near the bed for a second, before placing the thicker cover over her. He kneeled down next to her and looked at her face. "Sleep tight... my little angel." He rubbed his hand down her face, before standing up and walking out of the room and locking the door.

Drake walked past Jennifer. "Just thought I'd let you know, I've accepted his request for a guard's position." He looked at her. "I can read minds remember." He continued walked and stopped outside Fayte's room, he wrote something on a piece of paper and opened his door. He threw it, it flew around a bit then landed on Fayte's bed. It read, As long as Lishkra says it's alright, welcome to your guards position. Oh and nice moves, she really likes you. Drake smiled and walked away.

Jennifer ran up to Drake. "What was he thinking about me?" Jennifer asked biting her lip. "it's not that i really like him or anything i just have to know."

Drake turned around. "What was he thinking about you? Well... I can't really say can I, that wouldn't be very fair." Drake smiled. "But then, I don't give a damn about fair. I think he loves you." Drake couldn't stop smiling. "He didn't know what to do right before he kissed you... and neither did you. He will look after you, I know that. And so will I." Drake put his back up against a wall. "I see you as my sister, and as such, I will protect you."

Drake hugged her back, then kissed her forehead. "In my family, that is a sign of good luck and showing that you love someone." Drake winked. "Maybe you shouldn't go back to your own room sis." Drake had a cheesy grin on his face.

Drake laughed. "What? You thought I meant me?" Drake grinned even more, then pushed her in the direction of Fayte's room. "I don't think he would mind a little company, it is cold tonight after all. Tomorrow... well tomorrow we'll see if I have company of my own." He looked towards Kinna's room.
"Well, sis, this is where I leave you for the night, think I'll go for a walk." Drake walked out the front door and round. He jumped up onto the roof and sat down outside Kinna's windows and started to sing. Nothing is gonna get at you, you have my word Kinna.

Kinna turned over in her sleep to pull the warmer cover up to her chin. Another dream was starting to come to her, one about flying through the clouds...

Drake looked through the window at Kinna. Maybe I'll take you flying one day Kinna, through the clouds and mountains, just you and me. Drake smiled, then turned back. Perhaps here, I can find people that don't care if I'm a half dragon or not. Maybe I have found a place where people care for me, because I'm me. Drake laughed to himself, then started to sing again, waiting for the sun to come up.
