He smiled as he watches her drift off to sleep next to him. He pulls the covers over them and drifts off to sleep as well. When dawn approached, a servent came in, baring a letter. The servent girl tried to get Ryu to awake, which she did, then offered the letter to him. Sleepily Ryu takes the letter and reads it. He smiles some then dismisses the servent. he then looks back to Lyoko, smiling as he watches her sleep.

She woke up a few minutes later and looked up at him then the letter. "What's that?" She sat up a little and rubbed her eyes tiredly. ~He's smiling so it must be something good.~ She thought.

"Remember how I mentioned I serve a master myself, well it seens he's decided to pay me a visit in a week here." he says still smiling. He then gets up and moves to go change into somemorning robes. "Soon enough you'll get to see the magnificent lord that pretty much raised me."

She sat up and crossed her legs. "So I'm guessing I'm going to have to wear one of those bulky kimono's again?"

Ryu chuckled and said "perhapes, perhapes not, I might have you in suitable war regelia. After all My lord, knows me to be a man of the battlefield. But worry not, we've a week still before he shows, still I would like you to get some practice in wearing a Kimono."

She grimaced in distaste. "But they're so bulky and impractical. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful, but not something I like to wear. Can we please just leave it as a last resort?"

He chuckles some and turns to her, resting his thumb and finger under her chin. "My dear Lyoko, you should know that here formality plays a significant part in the welcoming of guests, and my lord is quite the formal type, besides He usually only stays a few days, a week at the most. Soon you'll only need to worry about wearing a kimono for two weeks." He gives her a kiss and says "ok?"

She kissed him back before answering, "yes master." She really didn't like the idea of wearing a kimono for so long but didn't say anything more. "Are you going to have to hide Kari while he's here? Or will you let her out and on a leash to impress your lord?"

Ryu rubbed his chin as he considered this, he honestly didn't consider the matter of kari. He then looks to Lyoko and says "since I'm wanting to have you as one of my loyal soldiers, I think I'll have you present with kari by your side, you two do seem like a matched set and should be presented as such." he smiles and then procedes to the dinning hall.

She smiled happily and got up, following him. "I promise she'll behave herself while your lord's here master." As soon as she caught up to him she slowed down to keep up with him.

Ryu smiled "I expect nothing less." Once in the dinning hall he sits at his usual spot, gesturing for Lyoko to take the seat to his right. This gesture being of considerable significanse as before he had her seated at the other end of the table. Soon enough the servents were bringing breakfast into them.

She took the seat next to him and watched the food get placed on the table. Once everything was set she waited for him to take the first bit of food before she did. When he had his food she tok mostly fruits and very little meat.

Ryu took what he wanted and then held his goblet up to be filled. A servent pouring him a glass of juice. He begins to eat, looking to Lyoko and noticing how little she's taken. "Not that hungery my dear?"

She shook her head, "not really master. Eating is just a habit, I don't have to eat to survive if I wanted to." She picked at her food mindlessly.

He gave a nod "ah yes I forgot, you've a special diet, don't you?" He takes a drink of his wine after having some ham.
