This seems like a cool rp. Too bad you haven't heard from the creator. I'll keep checking in because I'd really like to play this one.

D: this RP is so wicked, why in the WORLD is Happiness not here?

I want to play Peter Pan if no one else has made a profile >_> if so, I have lots of backup characters I was thinking about.

BUT.
For reals. Can someone PM me if Happy comes back? This looks stellar, and I'd totally love to join.

How I Normally Look
Neasa is of Irish descent, so she has a heart shaped face and a peaches and cream complexion underneath the ruddy blush that normally adorns her features. She's tall for a girl, about 5'8", and she's "built like a warrior" according to her old friends; which only means that she's lithe and slender, not very curvy, and she has broad shoulders and large hands. She's also strong and fast because she was on the track team and she never seems to have a shortage of energy.

With her "warriors body", Neasa was almost destined from birth to be a tomboy, and that fact was proven when she got older. She keeps her dark brown hair cut above her shoulders so that it doesn't get in her way, though she sometimes spikes the ends of it for fun; and there's almost always dirt underneath her long fingernails, no matter how often she washes them. She never wears dresses unless forced into one, and she doesn't back down from the thought of frogs or mice, or blood and gore.

Despite being a tomboy she's also a bit of a Goth, always wearing black and lining her chocolate brown eyes with black eyeliner. She wears a black ankh around her neck for jewelry, one ring on each hand, and an ear cuff in her right ear. Neasa prefers it when she's mistaken for being male because it makes people a bit more relaxed around her, so she often wears a long jacket to hide any curves that she might possibly have.

Because of her ease at being more male than female, Neasa speaks in a deeper voice than a normal girl when she's relaxed, and it only grows higher into a more feminine vocal range when she's nervous or talking about something she's uncomfortable with. In her normal vocal range her voice sounds a bit androgynous; either a masculine female or a feminine male, and she has an awful habit of flirting with girls for fun.

The only thing that's really girly about Neasa is perhaps her long nails, which she's always kept long since a young age. They aren't drastically long, but they're long enough that they stick out past the ends of her fingertips. The only feminine thing she really indulges in is filing them, other than that she prefers to be thought of as male since it places her in a position of ease.

Fairytale Appearance
As the youngest O'Hara daughter she's supposed to be the most beautiful and the most gentle, so Neasa has to make drastic alternations to her wardrobe and habits in order to fit into her role. She has the right skin tone for the role, and because she's of Irish descent she has the right shape of face, but in order to fit into her fairytale role she has to don several things she's uncomfortable with.

She has to scrub her nails good and hard in order to get rid of the dirt, and she normally has to scrub her skin good and hard as well in order to give it the proper glow for a princess. Neasa has to wear a long strawberry blonde wig in order to look more like a girl, and in drastic situations she also has to wear a corset to give herself the curves required to fit into the role of a beautiful princess.

In the role of the youngest daughter Neasa has to act demure and gentle, polite and innocent, so she puts in light blue contacts because they're supposed to look "innocent" and she puts on light make up that makes her face look more feminine and gentle compared to her tough tomboy look. If she absolutely has to, she might paint her nails or replace her ear cuff with actual earrings, but she absolutely refuses to wear any high heels or take off her rings.

As O'Hara, Neasa has mastered the art of looking down but up through her eyelashes, something she would never do normally, and she speaks in a sweet voice that actually makes her sound like a young woman. She has to smile gently and not smirk like she normally does, or grin, but she's just about got the innocent and gentle act down. When she puts her mind in the right mind set she can act like a completely different person, even making herself blush in all the right places.

Neasa prefers to wear pale blues and whites if she absolutely must look like a girl because out of all of the other "girl" colors they're the least offensive to her. Any dresses that she wears are long sleeved with flared ends to hide her "man hands" and they're always in the Celtic style. The old style allows her to wear clothes that are a bit more loose fitting so that she isn't uncomfortable in something tight that reveals more of her than she wants.

How I am
As a tomboy Neasa isn't afraid of talking loud or laughing loud, or even talking about subjects that might embarrass other girls. She's a very jovial person, normally kind hearted and good humored, but she can be cynical and sarcastic when she wants to be. Though she isn't a lesbian or even bisexual she enjoys messing with girls, smirking and flirting easily with them, almost as if she really is a boy. As far as boys go she's just as comfortable talking to them as well, though she does start to get nervous and uncomfortable if they try to flirt with her.

Despite these traits she becomes easily embarrassed if she has to talk about subjects more feminine in nature; she grows nervous and her voice goes higher until it's in a normal female vocal range. She can turn quite shy if she's forced into one of these uncomfortable situations until the point where she actually starts to act like a normal girl.

At times she can be almost morbid in the things she's interested in. Vampires and werewolves are her favorite book subject, and horror movies are her favorite thing to watch. Halloween is her favorite holiday, her favorite past time is trying to scare people and have people scare her; though so far no one has ever managed to scare her. Every Halloween before coming to the Academy she would go to every haunted house and haunted trail in town and laugh at the people trying to scare her and the gore they had strewn about, normally while at the same time comforting her screaming friends.

Neasa doesn't want to admit it but she shares a couple of traits with her fairytale character, other than the fact they're both Irish. Underneath her smirking attitude she's a very sensitive person, empathetic to others feelings and thoughts. She's caring and wants nothing more most of the time than to help people, sometimes even those who have proven that they'll hurt her. She often puts herself in situations that only hurt her in efforts to do "the right thing".

Part of the way she was raised taught her to be an objective thinker, so Neasa has a skill at taking two steps backwards out of her body, mind, and emotions to look at things from others points of view. This normally gets her into more trouble than it's worth because it allows her to sympathize with both villains and the good guys, so she's taken to stating right off from the bat that she's neutral until convinced otherwise; though she will take the side of whoever she feels is in the right if she must take sides.

How I came to be
Neasa was born to a normal family, or at least as a child she thought it was normal. Her father's side of the family wanted nothing to do with her or her father, and her mother's side wanted her to follow in their criminal footsteps. On her mother's side they were all thieves and liars, murderers and drug dealers, and her father did his best to keep her from them; though to save his only daughter he actually had to let them raise his only son.

She was always a smart child, learning to read before she was two, and learning to walk and talk before she was even a year old. She was also always an adventurous child, poking her nose in places where it didn't belong and coming home with more scars and bruises than her older brother, who she did get to see. At two years old her mother was put in prison by her own grandmother in another attempt to get closer to the child, so Neasa spent the next three years of her life moving from place to place with her father.

With a lack of a mother to teach her girly things Neasa grew up raised to act like a boy by a father who was embarrassed by "girl stuff". Her father had a hard time with jobs and finding places to live, so more often than not Neasa went without things other girls had so that they could get by, though the rewards often outweighed the bad: in kindergarten she went to school every day on the back of her dad's old motorcycle.

At five, for lack of money, she had to go with her mother's family, and for the next two years of her life she suffered their attempts at brainwashing her. She was starved, beaten, forced to lie and steal or else she was beaten more, and told everyday that her parents hated her and that they were the only ones who would ever love her.

Because of what she went through nothing really phases her anymore, because she believes she's already seen the worst the world has to offer her, and she prefers to live in a fantasy world inside her own mind. It's also because of this that she's as sympathetic as she is to others and feels empathy for their pain.

At seven her mother got out of prison and they were rejoined, a year later after living alone together they returned to her father. Her mother struggled to teach her how to act like a girl, but Neasa simply wouldn't learn. For awhile she even began to believe everything was going to be alright now, but then her mother got into a car wreck at ten that messed with her mind.

For the next four years of her life Neasa had to take care of her slowly deteriorating mother, watching her die a little everyday mentally. At fourteen her mother simply stopped being alive; one moment she was breathing and the next moment she stopped breathing, her heart stopped beating, and her organs started to shut down.

That year Neasa was so upset she failed her grade and had to repeat it. All of her friends suddenly had better things to do, and her father had to work constantly to pay for the hospital bills; during the worst time in her life she was left all alone to deal with it. That summer, a few months before the start of high school, her father brought home a woman who she saw as her mother's replacement. They didn't get along in the short time they knew each other, they were constantly fighting and driving each other up the wall.

When the letter arrived at fifteen telling her she would be going to Ever After Academy, Neasa was more than willing and more than ready to take the plunge. Anything had to be better than the monotonous thing her life had become. Too bad she didn't know back then it was just going to be another experience of people trying to make her something she wasn't.

There's something else you ought to know
The ring on Neasa's right hand is a promise ring her mother gave her when she made her promise she would never have sex before marriage, and the ring on her left hand is from the only friends she ever hand. She also refers to her fairytale self as "Armelle", because it means princess in Gaelic.
