"Now that boy has some nerve..." Anne thought, as she watched a cat-like boy walk in the class calmly, happily even, like it was the most normal thing in the world to arrive late.
"A cat-boy...I wonder where he is from..." Nibbing the end of her pen, Anne started to write about the differences between Human and Faerie Alchemy, when she noticed Cassio wasn't around.
Looking around, wondering where could he have gone to, she was dismayed to see him sniffing around the cat-boy's feet, looking at him curiously.
"Cassio! Cass, come here!" She whispered desperately, trying not to call Mr. Chase's attention.

"Don't look now, but it looks like you have a visitor," Pan said.
Rhm discreetly looked down and saw a black cat starring up at him. Rhm glanced left and right and saw a girl (human by the looks of her) attempting to call the cat back.
"Shoo! Go back to your friend!" Rhm whispered to it. The thing just stood starring up at him.
Rhm turned to Pan and thought-spoke, "Think you could get him back to that girl?"
Pan look balefully up at him, then flowed to the floor and persuaded, somehow, the cat to follow her.
Pan and the cat sneaked around people and chairs until they came to the girl (Anne). Pan looked up at the girl and pointed a paw at the cat questionably.
(( i couldn't tell: is Cassio intelligent? ))

((It is, yes, more than it shows...but he's also 'cattish', acts on instinct. Or maybe he has hidden intentions... ^_^))
Anne was already thinking of getting up and fetching Cassio herself when a white ermine lead him back. Standing in front of her, it pointed to the cat, as if asking if he was hers. Thinking the ermine should be the boy's familiar, she smiled at him, while picking the Cassio up to her lap.
"Thank you very much. And tell your...owner? I'm sorry for the bother."
She didn't even realize she had disturbed the class, and was stunned when the teacher's eyes fell on hers.
"You there, miss? Since you're already so acknowledged in this subject you don't even care to listen, maybe you'll be able to explain us what is Aqua Regia, and why was it mistaken for magic for some time?"
"Damn it." She thought. She remembered something like that from her chemistry classes...thinking hard, she remembered...a visit to a Physics Museum many years before...
"Huh...Aqua Regia is Mercury, or Quicksilver, and it was called like that because, being liquid, it dissolves other metals" Seeing the teacher's face, she realized she was on the right track and gained confidence "They called it Aqua Regia, royal water, because it dissolved gold, which was thought to be impossible at the time."
"Hum...That is right, but I'd prefer if you gave your attention to the class rather than your pets, is that possible?"
"Y-yes, sir, I am sorry." And, blushing to the roots of her head, the girl buried herself on her notebook. "That one was a close call...!

acarian sat stunned that anne knew that much. "wow, youre really smart!" acarian whispered to anne. "how did you learn that?"

Still blushing, Anne smiled at the boy's amazement. "It's nothing, really." She whispered, being careful not to divert her eyes from the teacher, always taking notes. "I tend to have a very good memory to random things I hear."

Rhm cringed at the girl's reprimanding, thinking the teacher would turn onto him next. But the professor didn't seem to notice the white ermine. He sensed rather than heard Pan padding back to him. "The girl says 'sorry for the bother'," she said as she hopped up onto the desk.
"So was the cat her familiar?" Rhm asked.
"I'm not sure. I thought it might have been, but it didn't respond when I directly spoke to it. So..."
Rhm shrugged slightly. "Oh well, maybe we'll find out later. We've got a whole year after all."
Rhm turned his head to smile at that girl and try to convey that it was no problem, but she was looking straight at the teacher now, taking notes, and eventually Rhm resumed doing the same thing. He'd tell her later.

The boy's comment only made her blush even more. "Huh...thank you...I guess" She replied, trying not to giggle.
Finally taking control of herself, she straightened up on her chair. The teacher's lecture went on and on, and Anne was getting bored.
"How much longer do you reckon he'll keep up talking?" She asked Acarian under her breath, looking at her notebook and realizing she had filled two sheets already. "My hand is starting to hurt..." She sighed. She did enjoy classes and learning new things, but she was starting to feel her lessons were not all that different from those in Human school...

KurimusonChishio Mr. Myr had finnaly finished his lecture, "now we shall have a little show to see if anyone can do improv. Let's have the lovely young lady who earlier answered my question so well Asako and....", he looked down at his list of students, "how about Kuagi..Kuragai.....no wait sorry how is it pronounced?" "Kuragari, sir." She stood up and walked slowly to the stage. "Alright lets begin, so class what should the topic be." In the back of the room someone called out, "have that girl slay that vampire up there for us." Kuragari looked out a little annoyed but after taking note on who said it and planning out the curse she went back to looking at the teacher, who seemed a little flustered by the student's statement. (only quoting it since it was a while ago) Mr. Myr waited a few more seconds but since Asako was n't coming up he called out another name. "Alright then how about Rachel." The girl that had made the comment got up and headed for the stage, her long, red hair bounced in front of the dark brown eyes and well tanned skin. Reaching the stage she smirked at Kuragari. "So I'll be the one slaying you." Kuragari said nothing but gave the girl the most piercing look. Mr. Myr stepped back and the two girls began. Rachel pretneded to have a stake in her hands like shes in some dracula movie. "It ends here you disgusting freak." Kuragari said nothing and stood there looking at Rachel. Looking her dead in the eyes with her usually stare. Rachel looked nerves, then ran foward. SHe tried to punch Kuragari in the chest like she were stabbing her. But Kuragari was to quick for her and side stepped then spun, catching Rachel and holding her to her chest in the best position to bite her and drain her of her life. In a wisper Kuragari said into Rachel's ear. "You know attacking me like that was stupid, IT really made you heart pump and your blood boil. It made you look evn more delectible. I haven't had living blood in a while. I really would like to have some." Kuragari ran her free hand over the pulse in Rachel's neck. Coming to her sences Rachel let out a scream. and began pulling. "Struggling will only make you tastier." With a smirk Kuragari let Rachel go and walked back to her seat. Rachel collapsed sat there with a wet spot on her pants.

The chemicals Mr.Chase had written down were starting to be explained. Quicksilver, as the girl had just stated, was mercury. It was silver in color and had the ability to dissolve metal. Mori thought he'd hang on to that little bit of information. It might inexplicably become useful at one point or another.
Mori crossed his arms, and layed his head on his desk, hoping beyond hope that his teacher wouldn't notice him falling asleep.

((KurimusonChishio, I'm really sorry I wasn't there, but I lost my internet connection Sunday night, and just got it back today. (And I really wanted to do an improv with you, too--damn. xD) I'll be moving to last block tomorrow, just giving everyone time to finish, and give me time to get a word in edgewise.))
Asako, feeling quite content with herself for answering the question correctly, lowered her head to her hand propped up on the edge of the chair she was sitting in. She fell quickly to thinking about the developments in her first period class.
I wonder how Anne is doing right now...? she thought to herself. Though she had temporarily been thwarted in Languages, she secretly hoped that her friend would find a guy she truly was interested enough in to give it a shot. Whether that guy was the human in first period, or someone entirely new, Asako didn't really mind.
Without really thinking about consciously, Asako slowly fell into a daydream about finding the perfect guy for both Anne and herself. And we could go on double dates, and talk about guy troubles together, and hang out the four of us...
She was not aware that the teacher had called on her to do an improv until the girl chosen as her replacement was sent crying back to her seat. I missed my chance! Was her first thought, but upon seeing the girl's -Rachel's- condition, it was replaced by Oh shi--! That girl is a freaking pyscho! She looked at the girl she was almost paired up with, with fear, and shrank as far back in her seat as she could. I never, never want to come into contact with that girl...ever!

Kuragari watched as the girl ran back to her seat in tears. 'That's what she gets for sayin she wanted to slay me. I can't believe these humans all they do is cry or say kill me just cause I'm a vampire.' Watching some of the faces as people looked at her. All she saw was fear and a few even looked like they wanted to run away. 'Oh well I guess I'll have to deal with a bunch of retarted humans.'
Looking atlittle more closely Kuragari noticed that most of hte people in the class had some kind of demonic feature or gave off a scent that wasn't human. A smirk comes to her face, 'I so good I even scared the demons. I bet a few of them put up an amazing fight and now there scared.' She began chuckling to herself, she ofcourse knew how crazy she looked.
Up on the stage Mr. Myr still looked a little worried. "Well that didn't go like I thought it would, thoopugh Rachel and Kuragari did a fine jobn. Lets go on. We don't have much time left so I want you all to work on you facial features and come up with two improve ideas. You may talk amongst yourseves till class starts."
