Abigail noticed Raven walked and she seemed a bit uneasy. She walked over to her and fell into step with her friend. She linked their arms together and gave her a smile. "What ya buggin' about girl friend?" Abigail was trying to lighten up for now and not think of all the doom and gloom.

Raven smiled. "it's just this upcoming match. It's my...last year here at Hogwarts. I want to win this match and win the House Cup. This could be the last time i ever play Quidditch. that's what i want to do...i want to play professionally for Ireland, but if i die I won't be able to do that."

Leandra looked at Abigail admiringly, just now realizing she was a metamorphosis. She'd always dreamed of what a blast it would be to change her appearance. The first thing she'd do was get some beautiful, wavy, golden-red hair, kind of like Flannery's but her own style added in. And green eyes. Bright green eyes.
She knocked herself out of her daydream as Draco finished speaking. "You know," she said softly to herself, practically inaudibly, "it was a stupid mistake to leave. I should've never run away. They need me."
She walked along quietly, just listening to Abigail and Raven, and then looked up angrily. "You talk about dying as if it's inevitable. How many times do I have to tell you you're not going to die for Voldemort if I can help it?"
Leandra softened a bit and went on. "I never really understood the passion of Quidditch players, but I can see it. And I can imagine it's the same as me with singing. And at the risk of sounding sentimental and a bit corny...I'm going to do all I can to make sure you're playing for Ireland ASAP."
AFter this outburst, Leandra quickly withdrew, a bit abashed. REally, all she'd been doing since she'd met these two was butting in their business, telling them what to do.

Abigail looked at Leandra and smiled. She turned back to Raven, "She's right Raven. And plus we both need to play for Ireland. Whose going to show me the ropes once I graduate in a few years. So I believe this whole dying thing you've been talking about isn't going to happen. I'll help in any way I can." Abigail let go of Raven for a moment and spun around and grabbed Leandra's arm and gently pulled her up to walk with her and Raven. Abigail hooked arms with both girls. "We can do this together. In theory any way, we all do come from Death Eaters, this should be easy-peasy." Abigail grind. Thats was the first time she sorta kinda told people about her parents.

Raven luahged "Alright alright! If you two are so hell bent on helping me then i'll let you! One big happy family!" this time she swung around and grabbed Draco's arm and linked it wit hers and yanked him back up to link with Abigail and Leandra. " First thing's first though, Leandra, you have to reconcile with your parents. Draco you have to help her do this. I have a feeling we'll be sharing a room Leandra when i move in with you. Granted, we're already family... since my Uncle Regulus was like a second or third cousin to your parents....that makes you and me cousins Draco darling..." She giggles uncontrollably. "that's funny! and Abigail...if your parents are Death Eaters too then we must be some sort of relations. so like i said...one big happy family!"

Leandra laughed at the sudden peppiness and jogged in step, feeling a little goofy. She sobered a little bit at the thought of talking to her parents, though...
"They hate my guts," was her excuse. "They'll never even let me in the front door. It wouldn't even surprise me if they went and burned my room when I ran away." She laughed, letting them know it was an exaggeration.
"But I'll try," she promised hesitantly. Then she stopped to run and hug Draco. "Raven's right. We're a big happy family. And I'm sorry I was so hateful to you. I never realized I was just being as bad as any stuck-up pureblood." She let go, laughing embarrassedly. "But we're okay, now." Then she fell back into step and smiled as they approached the castle. "You know, I'm actually starting to feel like I have a purpose at this wretched school, finally, besides telling off those evil DADA teachers."

Abigail looked down. Not everything was known about her. To most of the student body she was a mystery. Some how, and probably because of the lack of friends,0 no one ever noticed Sister Erin retrieving her from the train. "Well they were Death Eaters." She said it so softly she doubted that anyone heard her over the talking about happy family. She tried not to show it but when family talk came up it was depressing for her. The orphanage wasn't what you would call home and Abigail never had someone close that would qualify. She tried to put on a happy face and not worry her new friends. Her hair even tinted a darker sea green color.

((aw, I hope you feel better, too! *casts magic fairy dust* I guess I'll post then, but hurry up and get better! smile ))
Leandra stepped into the Entrance Hall, and Abigail's changing hair caught her eye.
Man, how awesome would it be to be able to do that?she thought to herself.
But then she noticed something in Abigail's expression.
Gr. She wasn't the best at comforting people. But how could she be a friend if she didn't try?
"Um...anything wrong, Abigail?" Leandra asked, stopping.

Abigail looked at Leandra. "Oh its nothing. I'm fine." She gave her a smile. As they walked into the castle it seemed a bit empty. There were a few students here and there but not many.

Raven too noticed the change in hair and expression. And as Draco nudged her she piped up. " Yeah wuz up?" she said in her American tone. Even though she'd only been Abigail's friend for no longer than a day she knew something was wrong. she had a hunch as to what it was, but didn't want to say anything out loud should she be right.

"Its nothing. I'm fine." Abigail was never really good at hiding her emotions well. She smiled at them best she could. "So what about the match, what tactics are we using?" She wanted to change the subject.

((yayz! lol))
Leandra shrugged. If she didn't trust her enough to tell her, it was her decision. AFter all, they'd only met, what? Not even half a day ago?
Oh, but what if Abigail was just putting up that act so it wouldn't seem like she was complaining? Would she think Leandra a bad friend because she dropped the subject?
Well, it was just too much out of her comfort zone to do anything else. Leandra never was one for going out of her comfort zone. So she just shrugged and waited for RAven's reply, not really knowing much about Quidditch.

Abigail noticed that Leandra was quiet. Maybe she doesn't know much about quiddtch. Maybe she's trying to figure out something to me. "You know what, we can talk about the match latter. And I just remembered I have some studding to do. So I'll see you guys latter, okay?" Abigail walked back wards to the dungeons as she said this. She walked quickly to the common room once she was covered in the corridors darkness.
