Sibyl continued to give chase to the void master, his trail zig zagged and swerved all over the place and more than once she almost got hit by a car or ran into a stationary object or person. Eventually a cyclist managed to clip her and it brought her down to the ground. The cyclist was uninjured, as was Sibyl but she'd lost her trail and she'd lost Luther. The cyclist got up and ran over to her, freaking out and asking her if she was alright. Though Sibyl was rather distant since she was scolding herself for her failure she managed to answer that she was alright in her distant monotone that meant she was barely listening and just responding so the noise would cease.

Her amber eyes quickly reverted back to their lavender colour and suddenly Sibyl realized that Mikami wasn't behind her any longer. She wasn't overly concerned but she decided to double back and assure that Mikami hadn't been hit by a car or something like she almost had. When she'd gone into her instinctive mode, she'd become a tracker and a killer, there'd been no room in her to worry about Mikami but now that she'd lost her target she'd reverted back to normal. If Mikami had been harmed it would most definitely be Sibyl's fault for not noticing and she'd take all the blame for it.

The female wolf searched and searched and eventually her search brought her all the way back to the alley where they'd started the chase. She found Mikami there, amongst the rubble and debris, unconscious. Since it wasn't in Sibyl to leave a pack member behind unlike her father, she quickly jumped down into the alleyway and uncovered the debris and whatnot that blanketed Mikami. She then decided to simply pick him up and bring him back to the apartment that she'd allowed him to rent though he wasn't actually paying any rent for the place.

((That's it, I'm leaving the alley!))

Unable to find anything Neasa stalked from the alleyway, unable to turn back into her human form because of a lack of clothing, but being content hoping the local human populace with think she was just a big dog. Too bad she couldn't find that hunters scent, but she wasn't feeling very much like fighting anymore, so she just walked up the street. Maybe if she was lucky she could find a cute little kid with an ice cream cone who would be willing to share, but it was highly doubtful.

Sam runs his hand back through his hair and then gives the girl one last glance before walking off. He meanders back into the crowds of people not really paying attention to anyone in particular. "What does a guy have to do for a little excitment around here?" he murmurs to himself.

Simi-chan

Hideyo was not at all intimidated by the fact that a vampire that could very well be equal to her in skill and wisdom was spectating her every move from above as she made her way up the building. She was no fool and she certainly wasn't oblivious to her surroundings or else she wouldn't be here. Everything, all her habits, were from life lessons that she'd learnt early on in her life as a human. She'd become a hardened war veteran after a fairly short period of time for most and the fact that she'd been a woman had amazed all of the men in her original time period. However, such days were gone and all that remained was her preserved self and the skills that she'd obtained and honed hundreds of years ago and continued to hone and sharpen in the current time period.

As for wearing a mask, Hideyo wore no mask at all, Alasdair simply knew nothing about her for he'd never met her before. However, if he gave her reason not to trust him then all too soon he would find that he was faced with a person that possessed a mask. For now, though, she had nothing to hide. Alasdair simply didn't know anything about her for he hadn't asked or inquired her as to who she was or other such petty details to make small talk and discover more about a person at the same time. Even the manner in which people spoke was important for it sometimes qued someone right away as to whether or not the person was to be trusted. However, hasty judgements like that were often incorrect as well.

Joining him or rather being by his side was a commitment that was unlikely to happen seeing as she knew nothing about him just as he knew nothing about her. Yet another reason she was possibly out of his reach was simply because she did not enjoy being tied down, she needed to be free and able to spread her wings as she pleased. Cages would not do for such ambition and determination would surely have dire side effects if not absolutely horrifying side effects. However, becoming a possible ally and friend wasn't out of the question though she never became too close to anyone for it was simply a code she'd issued herself early in life for it'd been one of her life lessons she'd been given early on.

Having been a former artist, Hideyo was able to find beauty in almost anything she happened to behold. A garbage can could be beautiful in her eyes and everyone else would merely scoff at her and say she was no artist until they saw her painting or drawing and discovered just what'd been going on with her mind. Then they would have a slight bit more faith in her the next time but she would be gone by the time they even got to see her next work. However, she decided to follow him despite the fact she could see the beauty in the sky as it was, after all, a little fun never hurt anyone even though she personally knew that statement was completely false and bogus.

Hideyo, yet again, flowed as though she were some celestial being or a clear current whose course was already defined and carved out for her and simply flowed up the buildings precisely on Alasdair's heels. She practically danced as she pursued him and when they finally came to a halt, she did not skid to stop, she merely flipped into the air to release her excess momentum and landed in another graceful crouch directly beside Alasdair. Her eyes were closed and it almost seemed as though she were in a meditative state but she soon broke the silence and responded to his prior comments with her intoxicating voice that flowed as beautifully as her movements, "Their sparkles are their currency and without currency they are in the streets where we pick them off so of course they find themselves lost without their precious sparkles. And beauty can be in all places, whether it be the darkness or the light, the end of the world or the beginning of it, or in death or life. It's simply what you make of it."

The sky looked beautiful from their newly acquired height. It was not as high as the male vampire had wanted to go, but it was high enough. Alasdair loved looking upon the sky from the highest point in the city. It made him feel as if the heavens were at his grasps. But it seemed that the woman did not want to continue the small chase, it was just a feeling that the vampire was getting from the female.
R
egardless of her thoughts on the small stroll they were having, she was flowing beautifully through the rooftops. And she made a wonderful stop when they reached the top of the fifty story building.

After she landed, Alasdair turned his gaze upon the sky and smiled. It did look beautiful. Then his violet eyes turned towards the woman, the smile still on his lips. “What is your name?” Alasdair finally asked the woman.

One thing that'd always comforted Hideyo was that the sky, no matter where you were, was always there so long as you looked up. Of course, it wouldn't be there if you were trapped in a building and a ceiling happened to be between someone and the sky one would always know the sky would be there once they escaped the building or left it. The sky was beautiful and seemingly endless, it followed you everywhere and it was one of the few things that people couldn't hide from no matter how far they ran or drove, not that she thought someone would be so ridiculous as to flee from the sky. That wasn't to say she'd never seen many strange things in her time because indeed she had and by now she'd learnt to never put anything past someone since they'd prove her wrong in a heart beat since that's how people were.

Hideyo wasn't oblivious and she'd noticed that Alasdair had been observing her movements though she hadn't chosen to comment on it just yet. She'd maybe save it for another time since she was sitting at the moment and this vampire had chosen to make some small talk with her. "My name is Hideyo," she answered with her melodic and enchanting voice, "care to exchange names and tell me yours, now? That's how it usually works, anyhow, my name for someone else's name. We're all about equal exchange these days, aren't we?" She smiled that beguiling and charming smile and waited patiently for his response.

As the mist settled around Luther's perch, he grinned like a madman, his eyes wide and his crimson fangs glinting in the haze of the beautiful pearl moon. He had always hated the Sky, ever since he was a child. When he looked up at it he felt like he was unimportant and miniscule in a massive and intimidating universe. He liked to think that he was important for something, but he couldn't focus on it anymore. The madness that had been dormant for a hundred years was now unleashed again, and he knew that it was dangerous for him to be like this. He couldn't do much damage if he was a cold b*****d, it was one of his many comforting thoughts about getting rid of it, he could always be in control of a situation and have just enough self-restraint to keep him from being killed, but when he was like this he was... strange. He was almost as a child, toying with the little play things known as Humans, pulling off their arms and melting them under a magnifying glass. He giggled slightly, dark rings were starting to develop around his eyes, bloodshot and full of Primal instinct, and most of all, fear. He looked down at the rushing people, their futile little lives almost making him burst out in laughter. They didn't know what he had planned. But he still felt this primal fear, like a zebra who knows the Tigeress is there but doesn't do anything about it until it pounces and begins chase. He knew Alasdair was here. He had Alasdair's vials, all of them more perfect than the last, and each containing one tiny little piece of himself. He hadn't been able to collect any Vampires due to Alasdair's unreasonable deadline, so he literally put a part of his soul into each impurity. He kept his ground, he didn't want a confrontation on this perfect night. "Tis a great night for dieing." He commented, looking at the mortals below. He could annihilate them now, but that wouldn't be any fun at all. He decided to take his time, and have as much fun as possible with this. He slowly got to his feet, and scratched at the red jacket. He pulled out his last Impurity Syringe, and grinned. He decided to have some fun. He walked through the door of the building he was perched on, and found the Cleaning man, the office dirty after a long day of work. He grabbed the man by the neck, and jammed the syringe into his veins.

Prometheus walked into the city, starving from the long period of no feeding. If I don't eat, I'll starve! he thought. He walked around, only being taken as a large dog by the mortals, trying to find an easy target. A simple man, probably a lawyer, walked into a nearby alley. Prometheus followed him, and took him down for an easy meal. I needed that..... he thought, wandering back into the crowd. He walked towards a building and noticed a Vampire, a woman, and possibly another Vampire.

Kiyo walked with the crowd, wondering what he should do next, at that moment, a mortal bumped into him. "Watch it!" I said to the mortal, but he just walked on. Kiyo turned around and walked in the direction he was walking in before. "Ungrateful little..." His voice trailed off to thoughts for he didn't want to say something stupid.

Alasdair

PostPosted: Sat Jul 05, 2008 3:27 pm

Alasdair chuckled lightly as the girl introduced herself, and then just continued talking about the obvious rules of etiquette. The vampire laughed because he found it amusing how the graceful woman could talk in circles like she did, but he really did not mind. “I am Alasdair” replied the vampire once his laughter had subsided. Then he turned his violet eyes back towards the sky and admired the clouded heavens. A slight smile grew on his lips as he stared into the vastness. “You must be new to New York, am I right?”

Rogue leapt atop the buildings enjoying the night air, her hair down at her shoulders. She jumped high and then landed on a nearby building, her fists cracking the concrete. She sniffed the city winds and felt herself roaming as the Sanguinarian part of her was allowed to breathe.

She roared atop a roof, not caring who heard, the roar sounding more like a large jaguar than anything. She then stood straight and walked to the ledge of the building, perching herself there and closing her eyes, seeing the city through her ears.

Hideyo could talk for hours on end if she actually put the effort into finding something to talk about and if the person was actually someone interesting. She could also drone on with possible targets as she'd been a former assassin in her long now undead life time. However, people who weren't targets and had no brain quickly found that she had a hasty distaste for them. She simply didn't bother to give them the time of day since most of them just ended up trying to come onto her anyhow. It really wasn't how someone appealed to Hideyo, it was how someone got a hole through the head.

"Nice of you," Hideyo said somewhat sarcastically with a slightly mischeivous smile, "to notice." She was obviously referring to the fact that she still possessed her Japanese accent as well as she was clearly from Japan since she was ... Japanese. "Hai," she responded with her flowing, sing-songy voice accompanied by her dazzling smile, "I just arrived here a few days ago. Long trip." She decided to use hand gestures to emphasize just how long the trip had been, though her hands never came even close to invading Alasdair's personal space. It was obvious she was very respectful and conscious of other's personal space.

She smiled kindly and then looked up at him though her attention was suddenly drawn away and like a cat, she seemed to slightly perk up at the distant noise. "Hm, sounds like someone's having a fun time. I'd ask if a wild cat escaped from your zoo but my ears tell me a different story." She also looked down and noticed one person in particular that was hanging around suspiciously and decided to comment on that, "It also seems that someone is lingering nearby, perhaps eavesdropping on us."

Neasa trotted up the street, looking around at all of the people walking by. She was wondering why little kids always wanted to shower attention over dogs that looked mangy and dirty, but why when they saw a dog, or in her case a werewolf, with clean fur they never wanted to pet it or offer it food. She slicked her ears back and almost pouted, hanging her head down and walking faster; the quicker she got home the quicker she could continue her night of roaming the city.

He watched as the Man's face flashed into pure white, as his eyes became Luther's eyes, pure amber Iris with small and malign looking pupils. His once vacant headspace, bereft of the slightest hair, now throbbed as pure crimson hair shot out of it. The Man had become a Lutherite, a name that Luther had coined only moments before. They were Vampire's with the essence of Luther and who take on his physical aspect because of it, the Man's face cleared of the lines of age and became youthful and clear, like when he first turned 18. The fangs lengthened, but didn't turn Luther's perculiar shade of Red, those fangs were a reminder of his sins, not a hereditary aspect of him. He dropped the man, and said "Hello my pretty, I am Creepy, and I havejust given you the greatest gift of your life." He left it at this, and climbed out of the window again. It had worked as planned, better even. The Man was now a carbon copy of Luther, the Voice was different and so was the personality, maybe even the Vampiric Purpose, but he was Luther's twin. And when he delivered these to Alasdair, he would realize that an army of Luther wasn't a good idea. He would have to advise Alasdair only to use it as an Enhancer, lest things get confusing around Las Noches. He decided to climb higher. He dug his fingers into the Stone, getting a firm grip. He slowly climbed the side of the building, not noticed on this perfect July night. He reached the top of his building, and grinned, reaching out and trying to grab the moon. "Everything will come together, very soon" He cooed, now looking down at the Mortals below.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 06, 2008 9:24 am

Hideyo hadn't seen the personal display set up by Luther below, though she had heard someone mumbling to themself a few rooftops over so she looked up to see who it was. Surely enough, it was the vampire that she'd seen with Alasdair earlier but he was now bereft of his petite, blonde-haired companion. The pale white face of the vampire was now being carefully observed by none other than Hideyo and she waited to see if his eyes would meet up with hers. It was always fun playing staring games with someone and seeing if they would look away as soon as they made eye contact with someone like so many people did. Staring was rude but she only stared on occasion and now was not one of those times, as fun as it may prove to be.

Within less than three seconds, Hideyo was perched by Luther's side. She flowed with as much grace as she always had, not making so much as a hint of a movement as she advanced on him. While perched beside him, she heard him mumbling and looking down at the streets below so she most likely knew the answer to her question but decided to ask it anyhow. Alasdair could catch up if he wanted to. "What will come together," her peaceful and melodic voice flowed while asking her question, "very soon, sir? Sorry to intrude but you seemed a tad lonely from my perspective." She flashed her dazzling smile that charmed many in the past and continued to charm countless fellows to this day. It was a kind smile, not a mischeivous one.

Luther slowly turned his head to her, his grin still plastered on his face. "Everything will soon come together, the reason I am here, though I have always been here in some ways." He said vaguely, turning back to the scene below as if their conversation was over. Several minutes passed, then said "May I help you, Ma'am? I am not very lonely, I'm never lonely, there's always someone, even if its myself." He didn't delve into this, he didn't feel he needed to. He finally looked up at the sky and narrowed his eyes, "You are the one I sensed with Alasdair" He said, not bothering to add a question to that statement, he already knew she was. "If you're here to bully me into giving him my research then I must kindly ask you to become beheaded in some manner." He needed to get rid of the insanity, it was making him come across as quite rude. He then sighed, "I am Creepy" He said, his name not present in his mind, he only had that nickname to go by until his mind became clear again. "May I ask your name?" He asked, then immediately said, "I'm going to guess Beth? Elizabet? Arnold?" He could feel himself becoming more incoherent, he fought against it.
