Kimi: I hate to find amusement in your woes, but you typed that so cutely. ^0^; The part where your computer nuu's over not being able to find the keyboard just made me laugh so hard.

cardi: I love the story in Flying Daggers. Especially the ending. So perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better script. I loathed the younger couple in Crouching so much that I've come to hate the movie with a passion. Li Mu Bai and Shuuuerrcan'trememberhername were so beautiful. T^T I wish the movie had only focused on their romance and left out the other romance entirely. I'm sorry but the whole relationship makes me think that the script was written by a man completely out of touch with his feminine side and female friends/relatives or a clinically frigid woman. *shudder*

Memoirs is one of my favorite books despite all the screams my nitpicky and prissy soul gives up while I read, but I'm afraid of the movie. So much of the book revolves around the sexual abuse of children and young women (and the cast is like...what, 2% Japanese?) that I really have no idea what they're going to make the movie about. ^^;

Miyazakis are the only anime I'll watch nowadays. *lol* All others have been traumatic experiences for me. ^^;

i heard princess mononoke has a fantastic beheading scene xd

as for flying daggers, there was a lot of eye-candy, but alas, the story never really appealed to me.

as for crouching-tiger, i never really thought about the younger couple's romance as really a romance. it was yet another aspect of the aristocrat girl's life that she doesn't want to take responsibility for, leading to her dark, downward spiral xd i'd hardly call her the good guy, but i was really shocked at the way things turned out gonk heart

i watched hero and house of flying daggers on the same night xd hero was a little better than flying daggers, but there's not much to the story i thought (well, since the same story gets repeated over and over...) >.<

*hee* i can imagine how much detail was probably inaccurate in the geisha book, just because there's so much of it @_@ i was also suprised at the cast for the geisha movie. so strange. but i've been watching the trailer and it has lots of eye candy heart i never really thought much about sayuri's theater stuff, but it was especially salient in the trailer. i love the book also, i've been reading parts of it over and over whee heart

I went to school for no reason again today. Because of Ramadan (sorry if it's not spelled right), there were hardly any kids in my school today (there are a lot of Middle Eastern kids in my school 3nodding ), so my science teacher couldn't really do the lesson with...what...me? sweatdrop

So I wrote in my notebook. blaugh I would've slept if I hadn't gone so at least I'm awake. 3nodding

Oh, Hero was lovely~ ^^ Some car company totally ripped Hero off recently. *laugh* I was so disgusted. If I could remember what company it was I'd vow never to buy one of their cars. I still like Daggers best, simply for the ending. The jilted lover's behavior was exactly as I could have wished.

Mononoke Hime had the most eyegasmic scenery~ heart _ heart The forest was just stunning.

Blue eyes in early twentieth century Japan. Couldn't the author think of something more realistic to set Chiyo apart? '~' A Japanese person with such a recessive trait as pale blue-grey eyes is as realistic as...as....Himura Kenshin. *lol*
